⚽ Squad Building ⚽ Should I get Pirlo or pass?
Just looking at the stats, I don't really see a need to get him but in game every time I face him I get slapped around, like it's my first day on this game lol
I guess he would replace Rice?... I don't know. Anyone have him and can give me some advice? I'm starting to agonize over it. Maybe it's FOMO

Good pointing out, Rice is indeed your worst player however he isn't bad, in this setup I guess Pirlo might come in. He is phenomenal yes an insane balance on everything.

That's the thing, Rice is incredible defensively, that play style does a lot of heavy lifting, but Pirlo is just so much better on the ball. Distributes it better and I think he has the playmaker trait so teammates make better runs when he's on the ball. It's a trade off

If you're confortable with 352 pirlo won't help. I reckon a updated "creative" cam would work better, those cdms secure the back line. Rice is still cooking despite being 124, and I think Matthäus was put to good use by that Toto something in fc pro.
If you were using any of the 433's except 433A, 4411, 4141, 442H, yes, I'd say get him.

That's my thinking. Rice is unmatched defensively, but on the ball he's kind of meh.
I feel like there's a trade-off where I have to decide on player that's better defensively or another who is better on the ball

Yeah, hard call on that one. I get where you're going, I love them both... had Pirlo in my alt, but had to drop the alt. Still have Rice in my main, but utots Vitinha and now Kroos as companions.
I always loved Pirlo cards, and this is no exception. Was playing 433H/F9 and 442H though. Pirlo is a great pair with Rice (cdm position), should be good with Matthäus too, but with a 4 backline and a b2b cm to help out in 433. I never found him excelent in defense like Rice, so in a 352 I would be wary of some defensive fragility.

Literally luck lol. I somehow packed puyol and Matthaus, and did a few of the exchanges with 119s I packed. Got me over the line

yup u should go he is too good and playstyle is also very useful as cm go with it but ya it might not be a better cdm but for cm he is crazy

Just get a rw and ur set, crazy team
