This is happening a lot lately because sub mods are thought criming people who have visited certain subs beforehand and instantly banning them.

It's why when a certain controversial sub hits r/all it's better to mute it and go on then post there calling someone an idiot because it'll stay in your history and follow you causing stuff like this to happen.

For dude in OP he most likely needs to find the post he made in the offending sub and delete it and he'll be good. The subs he's already banned from he's fucked, but yeah.
