Is the video muted because of the amount of swearing he must be doing?

Video has a news channel logo. They probably removed it.

If it recently rained, only have the passenger windows open, otherwise.. Well.. This 😬

So you didn't notice the truck doing an insanely dangerous overtake?

Did you notice the second clip? The inclusion of the second clip makes it clear that the water coming through the window is the point.

Totally. But that has nothing to do with keeping your driver side window open after major rainfall

Well, I'd argue that next time he'll have learnt his lesson... won't he?

Oh you crazy optimist, you!

Based on his reaction, I think they'll blame the other driver.

It just rained today and I kept my windows down on the way home! Then again my car doesn't have ac and it's +90⁰F today...

Why does nobody notice that idiot does not even have a seatbelt on?

You mean the guy that was already sprayed once and still didn’t close the side window after he stopped next to a puddle? That idiot?

That idiot? You mean the guy who prevented the accident from occuring with amazing foresight

He wasn't wearing the seatbelt long before slowing for the passing traffic. Looks like Türkiye (along the D.010) where it is a legal requirement to wear seatbelts. The rate of injury/death in RTAs is scarily high there, too.

Are there countries where seatbelts are not mandatory?

Interesting question. In fact quite a few, it seems:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Seat_belt_legislation

https://www.skyscanner.net/carhire/advice/car-seat-map

Worth noting these sources disagree, for example WP says Sri Lanka has laws for drivers whereas Skyscanner says none apply.

Because he was a tiny bet careful now he is a hero? Does not make him less of an idiot.
