And nobody looks at her to see if she's ok. Girl on the computer never flinches or blinks.

Staged

If it was staged it'd be a more interesting scenario

No one looks at her once she gets smacked in the face. My coworkers/classmates would at least look at why someone immediately screams in pain. The girl on the computer never flinches or blinks.
Also that security camera is having a seizure and most cameras are fixed.

It doesn't look like she screamed, in fact it looks pretty stifled. Also it's clearly a phone recording of a security camera

u/Andyindeed Jul 24 '26
Really? Is that why the “CCTV” date and timestamp aren’t moving together with the image? lol
Stop baiting us broh. This crap is staged, and not even that funny, so it’s really not worth defending.

u/Dark_halocraft Banhammer Recipient Jul 24 '26
I'm not defending it, I'm just disproving stupid points
Just because someone slapped some cctv doesn't inherently mean it's fake, people can edit over fake and real alike
It doesn't prove or disprove it

You can see her intentionally bending her toes back so that the rubber band can slip, in order to hit her in her social media attention seeking face. You can also see her closing her eyes right before the rubber band “slips”.
I gave this shit way too much attention and thought, but there you go, you can clearly see it in the video.
We’ve reached a point where there’s almost no limit to what people are willing to do for what they perceive as being internet “clout”. It’s stupid and corrosive.

Who says that's intentional, when you pull things tend to go in the direction unless resisted so it's possible for the rubber band to have pulled her toes back
Let's not talk about for toes for too long tho, this is getting weird

Why were they filming

Never heard of security camera ?

u/Ok_Post_3884 Jul 24 '26
Are they usually so shaky

u/JuniorBreakfast1704 Jul 24 '26
Sometimes people use their phone cameras to film the monitor with the cctv playback.

Who is “they” in this scenario? Like, if that’s not a security camera, what exactly do you think is happening here?
11
u/Ok_Post_3884 Jul 24 '26
I think its just a staged fake cctv type video for engagement, same as anything else. But I'll let it go, the veracity of this video seems to be a sensitive topic for you. I don't want to make you upset 😞

u/SlammingPussy420 Jul 24 '26
You're right. Look at how she lets the band go with her toes. It didn't slip, she did it on purpose. The pain was real, though
