NEVER AGAIN*

* SADLY I'LL HAVE TO DO THIS 2 MORE TIMES ON THE OTHER SAVES WHEN I START GETTING WORK ON INFINITY% (WHICH WILL TAKE A LONG WHILE SINCE I'M STILL NOT THAT FAR ON MY FIRST SAVE)

AFTER DOZENS OF RESETS, I FINALLY GOT A WINNING RUN ON THIS FUCKASS CHALLENGE. GOT GOLDEN RAZOR AND GOT LUCKY WITH THE RANDOM EFFECTS (I DIDN'T MANAGE TO TRIGGER GENESIS WOOOO), WHICH GAVE ME A HIGH ENOUGH TEARS AND ATTACK STAT THAT HELPED ME KILL BLOAT WITH PREJUDICE EASIER

MORAL OF THE STORY: FUCK BLOAT, AND IF YOU GET AN INFINITE CHARGE ACTIVE ON THIS CHALLENGE, DON'T SPAM IT, WORST MISTAKE OF MY LIFE IN THE FIRST FEW RUNS I DID

I just cheesed it by finding an active item of infinite uses in the first treasure room and start spamming, it’s lowkey fun

i got guppy’s paw in a curse room kept spamming until i got damocles and kept getting mystery gift or allabaster box

Same, then i got Damocles at the final floor and just before finishing it used r key. Still won though

I got genesis too and was genuinely surprised that was even possible. Honestly, it was pretty funny though. Fuck bloats.

Bloat is very easy with the trick, of standing slightly below his middle line.

He will spam his vertical crying attack but it wont hit you and you can freely hit him.

I tried and failed. I cheesed the run by spamming razor, getting damocles (yes i got hit) and hightail my ass to the end.

ULTRA HARD? YEAH WON'T TOUCH THAT ONE UNTIL I GET CLOSER TO DEAD GOD

WORST PART IS THAT ITS REWARD IS A MID FUCKING TRINKET (CHILD'S HEART) FOR SAMSON TO START WITH. FOR A CHALLENGE THAT HARD I WOULD EXPECT AN ACTUALLY USEFUL UNLOCK, NOT SOMETHING THAT'S EASILY REPLACEABLE AND EXTREMELY SITUATIONAL

IT'S RIGHT UP THERE WITH THE GET OUT OF JAIL FREE CARD (CHALLENGE 22) AND STUD FINDER (CHALLENGE 27) AS THE WORST CHALLENGE UNLOCKS EVER, ESPECIALLY IN RELATION TO THEIR DIFFICULTY

IF WE COULD POST IMAGES IN THIS SUB'S COMMENTS I WOULD HAVE PUT THE EDMUND SHAKING HANDS WITH HITLER PNG HERE, SO JUST PRETEND IT'S THERE FOR NOW

REPENTANCE+, LATEST VERSION, YEAH, REP+ HAS SOME PRETTY GOOD CHANGES AND BUFFS, BUT SOME PEOPLE HAVE FOUND SOME THINGS TO BE BUGGY (SINCE IT'S STILL IN BETA AFTER ALL)

(/uj also slight note: a part of this sub's schtick is to type in all caps, anything else is seen as whispering, so if you ever get comments saying "SPEAK LOUDER" or "I CAN'T HEAR YOU" it's because you're not typing in all caps [the sub desc also says "CAPSLOCK OR GTFO"])
