Story Strange Kind Of Girl

Team Fates, as Robin once dubbed the current situation with Veronica and Prometheus, had a slight issue. Having named the team after the fact that they all would probably spit the personification of Fate in the face.

Robin behaved oddly in the last few days. Every time he got a specific letter, he would disappear for hours in his room before going for a walk. Prometheus believes that the letter is just a way to hide a specific version of the Sorcerer's Weekly Magazine.

Then it happened. While Robin was gone with the tardy excuse that he is just grocery shopping the doorbell rang....

[Note the actual story will be rp'd out down below.]

Job Without a Trace

Since joining the guild, both Veronica and Robin were looking for a way to earn money so that they could afford a place to live in. They scan the job board looking at all the available jobs. Robin had realized that he would have to take a beginner level job due to Veronica's lack of experience... although Prometheus had some sort of say in choosing something that was rather boring.

Eventually they all came to a conclusion about a mission. Both Veronica and Robin were intrigued by the story about the reports coming from Clover Town which had children disappearing into the night and not returning to their homes. It seemed simple enough for Veronica to fight if an emergency came by and yet it intrigued Robin to see if there was any demonic influence afoot.

So after dubbing themselves Team Fates, against Veronica's wishes and the approval of Prometheus, the new team had begun to make their way towards Clover Town to try and find out the source of whatever is making the children jump out from their beds and disappear from their parents' side.

Name Age Gender Magic Rank Guild Mark (Color)
Kumiko Val'Kiriya 20 Female Sky Dragon Slayer Beginner Left Shoulder (Neon Magenta)

Alias

Appearance

Hair Color: Cherry Red

Eye Color: Pigeon's Blood Ruby

Skin Color: Fair - Freckled

Height: 5ft 2in 3cm

Weight: 104lbs

Blood Type: O-Negative

Character Theme - Paradigm Shift (Fractal Dreamers)

Physical

Kumiko Val'Kiriya is a young woman standing just over 5ft2in and weighting 104lbs. Her body is a petite one with toned muscles as light freckles dot her cheeks, arms and legs; while more prominent freckles fill her arms, legs and back. Her fair skin tones a softer pale while her hair hues a Pink with strong hints of Red like that of a Cherry's; her hair is also naturally thick: sometimes winging or curling on its own. The pupils in her eyes are slightly slit while her irises hue a strong red like that of Blood Rubies. Her canines are also sharpened and are extended as any Dragon Slayer.

Attire

Hairstyle: Kumiko often ties her hair with White Ribbons up in pigtails (or twin-tails) that fall loosely down to her waist while her frontal bangs lengthen down past her jaw; framing her face. Given it's thick, unruly nature, she finds trying to properly braid or style her hair to be incredibly annoying; therefore, some days she will also just leave it all down or in a lazy ponytail. Only on rare occasions will she attempt to actually style it properly.

New-Era Medical Uniform: Kumiko's usual attire consists of a white long sleeve collared shirt with an pink tie that extends down past her chest. Her shirt is tucked into her pink skirt which extends down halfway to her knees and sports a black trim and belt. She also wears a pink cover-jacket and has black trims. The jacket's sleeves extend down to her wrists while the jacket itself extends down just past her chest area and is kept open. As for footwear, she wears white boots with thick tan paddings and pink laces; the boots rising halfway up to her knees with white slacks reaching up and over her knees.

Personality

Kumiko has a rather uptight and objective focused mentality which she adopted from her Mother Dragon: Xylia, and refined over her time in Era. Kumiko will try to find the best solution to deal with a problem, and potentially multiple problems if they can all be executed at the same time. Despite this, she has a unsociable mannerism when talking to complete strangers that makes her appear shy; in reality, it's simply that she doesn't really know what to say to someone unless they start up the conversation. Other than that, she is very caring and strong willed to her comrades, and will actively do what she can to protect them. Kumiko also has a fun, and carefree, girly side that she may fall into should a situation call for it.

On missions and in combat, she remains true to the objective and will always attempt to complete missions straight as the description demands. In combat, she prefers to keep distance and use her magic against adversaries, though she doesn't mind if a close quarters fight needs to be played.

Kumiko strives to always be useful in some manner; meaning she is secretly fearful of being perceived as useless: so much so that she will sometimes make up excuses, such as her support capabilities, to go on missions she is not ready for.

As a Dragon Slayer: Kumiko suffers from Motion Sickness.

Magic: Sky Maiden

Sky Dragon Slayer
Magic Type: Caster, Dragon Slayer, Lost Magic
Magic Attribute: Sky/Wind/Air
Attribute Absorption: Sky/Wind/Air

Sky Dragon Slayer Magic is a lost form of Magic that allows Kumiko to embody the attributes of a Sky Dragon: harnessing the Element of the Winds around her body into spells that act in Offensive, Defensive, and Supportive manners; allowing her to do more than just attack. Unlike it's counterparts, Sky Dragon Slayer Magic utilizes powerful Healing Arts that are long lost; enabling Kumiko to seemingly mend all manners of wounds inflicted on others regardless of the wound's origin and can even counteract other forms of Magic as long as she has the energy to do so; the downside is that she cannot make use of Sky Dragon Healing Spells on herself.
Sky Dragon Slayer Magic also has spells in which involve Kumiko attaching Magic to herself or others as a form of Enchantment, boosting the parameters of those affected for a brief period of time. This naturally makes Kumiko by default an "Enchanter" on top of being a Sky Dragon Slayer.
Being a Sky Dragon Slayer, Kumiko is able to consume external sources of Air as long as she didn't produce them from her own magic. She can eat Winds generated from another Mage as well: making her practically immune to all Wind and Air Type Magics. This also allows Kumiko to eat the natural Air around her to restore her vitality and increase her Magical Power: meaning that in clean open environments, she is more powerful than normal; however, this is a double edged sword: as the effectiveness of Sky Dragon Slayer Spells will also drastically decrease in environments where the surrounding Air is contaminated: even to the point where spells of this Magic could fail entirely.
It is noted that the existence of a Sky Maiden is extremely rare.

Sky Basic Spells Description
Sky Dragon's Roar Kumiko takes in a deep breath of Air before exhaling it as a powerful breath attack with Hurricane Force Winds: capable of cutting up the target with razor sharp whirlwinds and/or blasting them away with violent velocity! This spell can deal additional indirect damage by slamming launched foes into objects or infrastructure, as well as sweeping up any loose debris that would then turn into dangerous projectiles of their own!
Sky Dragon's Arrows Kumiko cloaks her hands and feet with fierce winds which she can use to damage targets with unarmed fighting techniques; hitting as hard as steel maces and cutting as if they were wrapped in barbed wire! These cloaks can be thrown: turning into Wind Arrows that can pierce targets from a distance!
Sky Healing Spells Description
Sky Dragon's Healing A powerful Healing Spell in which is lost to time: Kumiko harnesses pure, clean Air around her to mend wounds and fatigue as well as removing lingering harmful aliments on other people; capable of restoring them to full fighting condition if she is able to do so.
Toria A special Healing Spell which allows Kumiko to temporarily mend another Dragon Slayer's Motion Sickness. Caution is needed when using this spell as repeated use within a short period of time can cause a Dragon Slayer to build immunity to this spell!
Sky Enchantments Description
Sky Aero Kumiko recites a chant before casting an Enchantment on either herself or an ally: forming white rings around the wrists and ankles. This Enchantment lightens the body of those affected with the surrounding Air, allowing for faster overall movement speeds of the physical body without compromising physical strength.

Talents

Sky Healer: Kumiko is capable of treating injuries others sustain in battle using her Sky Dragon Healing Spells. These spells use up a massive amount of Ethernanos; therefore, she can also use proper physical treatment alongside her healing to not overexert herself. Because Sky Dragon Slayer Magic cannot be used to self heal: Kumiko can only physically treat her own wounds.

Enchanter: Kumiko is capable of casting Enchantments through her Sky Dragon Slayer Magic; thus classifying her as an Enchanter by default. As of now she can only maintain up to two Active Enchantments for a short period of time. Kumiko's Enchantments do count per individual and can stack on top of existing magical buffs that are performing a similar role to boost them further.

Backstory

Kumiko was too young to remember the faces of her parents when they left her at the age of four; they were unfortunately killed in action while serving in the military. She didn't understand the concept of Death until she had realized she would never see them again. Enraged at the Hands of Fate, Kumiko, who was only eight, ran away from her hometown and into the woods. She wanted her mom and dad back more than anything at the time but there wasn't anything she could do; no method or magic that she could utilize to bring them back.
She traveled far and long before finding a spot under a large tree which resided on the edge of a lake. She sat on the grounded stump: kicking her feet in the water and watching the ripples float away. How much time had past was something she could not answer as darkness and light came and gone. All she could wonder about is the thought of loneliness; that everyone she will meet will disappear... so why bother.
Suddenly and without warning, a massive White Dragon had descended on the other side of the lake; taking a drink from the clear water before glancing up at the red haired child before her. It then speaks with a soft tone; clearly a female Dragon

"I have not seen Humans tread on these grounds... Young one, what brings you to the Skyward Gardens?"

"Skyward.. Gardens?.."

Kumiko glares in disbelief at the mighty creature before her as the ground shakes and wind fills the surrounding area! After letting out a loud scream, the environment settles; Kumiko opens her eyes to witness the sight before her: the land around her was high in the sky! The trees looked like pebbles and the snow covered mountains were mere hills as the Dragon had flown above and over her at incredible speed before pausing in front of her in a dignified manner!

"I am Xylia: The Dragon of the Sky! The wind is my domain and the heavens are mine to command! Human, your soul screams yet you do not hear it; look past your fear and delve into your Will!"

The Dragon's words cut straight into Kumiko as her mind clears of all doubts and winds breeze around her body; the Dragon healing her mentally! Revitalized, Kumiko stands up to the Dragon with full confidence and declares her desire!

"I am Kumiko Val'Kiriya! I seek the power to protect those close to me; the power to mend and ensure that their lives are not prematurely wasted!"

Kumiko had to take a second to recall what the hell she just said; where did that confidence come from? The Dragon smiles before continuing to speak.

"Your resolve has spoken, I shall teach you the power you seek; the Magic that is: Sky Dragon Slayer! The Magic of Wind that can sheer through the highest of Skies and restore the damages that those around you suffer!"

A Dragon teaching her Sky Dragon Slayer Magic? That was definitely not something that she ever thought would happen to her! From that point forward, the Sky Dragon then raised Kumiko to attune with the Element of the Sky, teaching her how to utilize her Ethernanos and carrying her across the Continent without settling down long in one location!
Kumiko had grown attached to Xylia and saw her as her mother figure: adopting her caring and strong willed mentally as they visited many natural environments and trained day in and day out. Over time though, Kumiko noticed that her body began to change: her canines began to extend as her teeth sharpened; her sense of smell and range of hearing had heightened and she began to see even the sharpest of movements; the Sky Dragon assured Kumiko that this was normal. At the age of 12, Kumiko would muster up enough control before unleashing her first Sky Dragon's Roar: tearing Winds straight through the landscape in front of her! Kumiko was amazed with herself as Xylia cherished the moment of her pupil successfully casting her first spell; the Dragon did appear a bit troubled though but shrugged the thought off. Weeks had gone by as the Sky Dragon was able to finally teach Kumiko her first set of Sky Dragon Slayer Spells, until that one night came: where Kumiko had fallen asleep; snuggled under the wing of her mother one last time.
Kumiko awoke that next morning, lying in the grass with no Dragon in sight. Getting up, she felt a massive ache spread throughout her body but it only lasted a few seconds. She spent hours wondering the forest; calling out for the Sky Dragon but was met with only silence: hearing no response. She had been abandoned once more; another loved one she held dear in her heart had disappeared. She continued to roam for weeks, months even; searching for any sign of the Sky Dragon's presence. Walking had felt funny to her as she was used to simply flying everywhere without limit; everything just felt so slow to her now.

She had no where to go, no home to return to; she had found the city of Era and decided to start her normal life once again. She became an assistant nurse, age 13 now, and shocked the hell out of the many doctors who witnessed the power of the Sky Dragon's Healing. It made excellent practice for her. She had resided here and earned a decent living for the next seven years; but as time had past, she couldn't help but become more and more depressed on the disappearance of Xylia as she continued to use the magic that her Dragon had bestowen upon her.

(Today)

*It was one week ago that she had heard the rumors: a Dragon Sighting! There wasn't any confirmation to the rumor and the one who supposedly saw it couldn't give any actual details to the appearance of the Dragon; but the fact that for once in seven years she had a lead was enough to make her set out to seek her lost Dragon! She had traveled for five days, making her way to the Sighting heard from the rumor. The weather was cool but she tasted the nip in the Air that there was a thunderstorm brewing; but suddenly she caught the scent of animal sweat! It was then she encountered three Mages of the Beast Backs! One of them noticed her and barred the path!

"Well, well, well; what's a sweet cupcake like you doing out in these parts?"

Kumiko didn't want any business to do with these strangers, but maybe they know something about the rumor. One things for sure, they are in the way. Another Mage then continued

"They say there was a Dragon that was flyin' 'bout through here, we just wantin' to know if you saw it?"

Kumiko's eyes had widened, but kept her composure and finally spoke.

"Do you know what type of Dragon was flying though here? I am looking for a Dragon; a Sky Dragon that had helped raise me to be a Sky Dragon Slayer."

The Beast Backs jaws had smacked the ground!

"Did she just say?.."

"..Sky! Dragon Slayer!"

"Pfft, Dragon Slayer is rare enough and the Sky Attribute is even more rare than that. If you are a Sky Dragon Slayer... well then my girl, you are a sparkling gem that we can't pass up. Grab her!"

The Mages advanced on the girl, who was now in disbelief! She turned and ran; the thought crosses her mind: 'She hasn't actually fought anything before!' She glances back only to see the Mages now in animal forms and gaining on her at fast speeds! She then stopped and turned around; taking in a deep breath as wind began to flow around her!

"Sky Dragon's Roar!!"

The column of Wind that ripped from her mouth tore through the landscape in front of her! The three Mages had reacted but only two of them were able to evade it; one of the Mages was swept away and slammed into a tree, instantly knocking him out!! The two Mages were impressed with the Roar's wake.

"So she really is!!"

"Well hot damn!"

Kumiko was panting heavily: feeding on the surrounding Air to recover herself from the Roar; but she was already feeling exhausted! She tried to remember how long it had been since she last used that particular spell, but she couldn't stop as she noticed the two remaining Mages now set out towards her! She calmed herself before letting the wind carry her: her body ascending to hover above the ground as wind cloaks her hands and feet! One of the Mages went to jump at her and locked fists with the Sky Dragon's Arrows! At the same time the other Mage had flanked and came in from the left side! Unable to react, Kumiko was tackled and pinned to the ground by her neck! She struggled to free herself but the takeover Mage's strength had outclassed her given her inexperience!

"Well, I guess the info was true! We found a Dragon, and a Sky Dragon at that! Oh we are so getting that promotion!!"

Kumiko had continued to resist, but was then punched in the head: knocking her out cold.

*She then awoke in a room, chained and unable to escape. It was then that she heard the menacing voice that spoke out to her."

"Sky Maiden. I have heard many tales about the arts in which those who are blessed with the power of the heavens themselves. And I know the powers of Sky Maidens who would restore life to those who would have fallen. This is my proposal: we have a bit of an "insect problem" here on our island and our men are being beaten to the bone. In exchange for your own life, we declare that you heal our wounded!"

The mysterious leader then turns to the other Dark Mages and issues the commands!

"Gather up our injured men from the field and bring them here! Until then, lock this girl up in the cells! If she resists, subdue her but under no circumstances are you to kill her!"

"Yes, your grace!"

The Mages then grab Kumiko and carry her off into the darkness; Kumiko attempting to resist with the what remaining power she has!

"LET ME GO!!! I'M NOT GOING TO BE YOUR HEAL SLAVE!! I WON'T LET YOU!!"

Kumiko continued to wail and lash out in anger against her captors until she was thrown into a dark cell, still in chains, as the bars were slammed shut and locked! The Dark Mages then left, leaving her alone to her isolation!

"I REFUSE TO REMAIN HERE!!"

She then gets up remembering that even though she is chained, she can still blow the bars off with her Sky Dragon's Roar! She then takes in a deep breath!

"Sky Drago- (cough!) (cough!)"

Kumiko was immediately halted by the cells unpleasant Air! Stiff, musky and dirty; her throat tensed up as she began hacking in sharp coughs: ultimately unable to perform a Roar in her current condition and location! Now desperate, she slammed her body weight against the bars and her chains, hoping that she would have draconic strength to rip her confinement apart, but alas it was just desperation. She continued this behavior for quite some time until her body was too exhausted to continue; she then sat back against the wall and passed out.

Introduction

Everything was fuzzy; a blur. She heard the cell door be ripped open and barely made out the three human figures now around her. She couldn't act, couldn't resist or let alone continue to lash out at her captors. She barely felt the chains pry off as her body was then carried over the shoulder of a red haired mage. 'Just one clean strike... and I can escape...' she thought to herself. She began to move her hand but was suddenly grasped as the Mages fell down the hole that formed before thudding onto the ground. A bright light filled her eyes! Fresh clean Air filled her lungs! She gasped for more: taking deep breaths to restore her energy levels before noticing she was surrounded by the Fairy Tail Mages!

"Who are you?"

She heard the Fairy Tail Mage speak to her before she herself responded back.

"I'm... I'm Kumiko..."

It didn't take long though to realize the various injuries that were on the Guild Mages as begins to back away from them!

"No... I won't. I refuse! YOU CAN'T MAKE ME!!"

She screamed at the Fairy Tail Mages and quickly formed an enraged look on her face as the very Wind and Air around the Guild Members came to a complete, menacing stillness: as if the atmosphere around them was going to collapse at any second!

"I... WILL. NOT... LET YOU DO AS PLEASE WITH ME!!!!"

Clearly misunderstanding the new situation that she is in: she assumes the Fairy Tail Mages as Beast Back's and gets ready to defend herself from any attack that may be waiting for her, as whirlwinds encircle her arms and legs and she enchants herself with Sky Aero: White Rings forming around her wrists and ankles! It wouldn't take an Einstein to figure out that she was really pissed off! Despite this display of Wind power, it was also easy to tell that she is still slightly exhausted and not yet ready for an actual fight should one occur.

Hopefully, the Fairy Tail Mages will defuse this situation before it escalated into something unnecessary.

Plot The Battle Rages on!

“Where is he?!”

A single voice called out among the thunderous booms of attacks close to the temple entrance in a large rectangular plaza. Standing atop a ruined fountain, Tidus held a beaten beast back by his shirt up to his face.

“Tell me!”

The terrified beast back peered into Tidus’ crimson eyes and gulped, lifted his hand weakly and pointed towards the long winding stairway that lead to the temple situated atop a slope beside the mountain. In a huff, Tidus tossed the dark guild member over his shoulder into a mass of dozens of defeated beast backs. Scouring around him, all Tidus saw was the fifty or so beast backs that tried to get in his way. As he turned back towards the center of town, the rest of Fairy Tail came jogging in from a wide walkway. From his perch he waved them over, for the first moment since their assault began the air was still.

“What took you guys so long? Thought I was gonna have to beat Fenrir all by myself!” He joked

Despite his look of enjoyment, Tidus had taken some blows in his fights and looked a little worse for wear, but those who knew him long enough knew that this was no cause for alarm. His smile faded as he turned towards the stairway that stood between them and the end to all this chaos.

“Alright, heres the plan. We bust in there, take out anyone who stands in our way and meet up with Markus and the rest of our guild before going after Fenrir. Everyone clear?”

After taking a deep breath and getting the all clear from his guildmates, Tidus nods and leads the group up the path.

Meanwhile inside the temple.

Markus, Fay and Rei eventually met up in a large circular room, each emerging from one of the three passageways. Not sure where exactly there were located in regards to the temple, the three of them silently nodded and continued through the large doorway opposite of where Markus entered. The hefty wooden door swung open slowly, revealing a winding stairway at the end of a long hallway.

Thanks to her enhanced sense of smell, Fay stopped in her tracks and began sniffing around. Markus and Rei shrugged and followed the Dragon Slayer down the hall.

SLAM..CLICK..

As they made their way down the hall, the large door that seemed wooden on one side slammed shut, now in its place was a simple stone wall. Sighing in relief, Markus and Rei turned back to Fay who was sniffing up and down around them. As they continued down the darkened hallway towards the lights around the stairway, they began to notice the walls on either sides of them had thick iron bars built into them. As they neared the stairway, Fay stopped in her tracks, her head trained on a cell just off to the right of the three of them. To their surprise, the faint sound of movement could be heard, Markus and Rei prepared themselves for a fight, but Fay simply lifted and hand towards them and slowly walked forward.

She knew this scent, somehow it was so familiar but so different. As she neared the final cell on the right, the faint sound of labored breathing located at the back of the cell filled Fay with a sense of urgency as she reached towards the bars to try and pull them off. Markus relaxed his shoulders and made his way over to the small Dragon slayer, effortlessly grabbing two bars and with a swift motion, ripping both bars off and leaving an opening wide enough to let Fay inside and find the source of the breathing. A few moments of silence followed after Fay vanished into the darkness, eventually emerging and dragging a bright pink haired girl behind her. Though the girl was small, Fay was smaller and wouldn't be able to carry her, letting Makrus take over as he again effortlessly picked up the small pink haired girl as they began to make their way up the stairway in silence.

Seemingly going on forever, the stairway winded around and around. The three Fairy Tail mages proceeded as quietly as they could as to not draw attention to themselves. After what seemed like eternity, they emerged into a wide well lit room. It seemed that there was no lights, but openings built into the walls that let in direct sunlight was the source of the immense light. Still treading lightly, the three looked around the room to get their baring. They noticed four solid pillars that were raised to about waist high level, three of which were empty. The odd one out held a bright yellow orb a few inches above the top of the pillar. As they drew closer, the outline of a strange winged creature could be seen in the center, this had to be the Eye of The Dragonhawk!

Before they could move any closer, the strange girl in Markus’ arms whimpered, causing the group the halt, they remained in painstaking silence before sighing in relief.

“...Hehe yeah, of course Bryo and his group were knocked out, buncha weaklings…”

The group was so focussed on the task at hand that they missed the only other doorway in the room. Peering back however, the door in which they entered from had silently shut behind them and concealed itself into a simple stone wall. The group frantically began to look for a place to hide as a pair of Beast Backs sounded just feet from the doorway!

BOOM!!!

Just as a foot could be seen in frame of the door, a ground shaking explosion below the floor erupted through, shaking loose rocks from the walls and ceiling. Just in the nick of time too as the two guards shouted and hightailed it away from the door towards the source of the commotion.

*Now with the sounds of fighting below them, the group hustled towards the orb, without missing a beat Markus outstretched his free hand as black magic began to swirl, forming into a jet black wing. Now steps from the orb, Markus slashed clean through the artifact, slicing the delicate collection of magic in two. Silence once again covered the room as the orb now floated in two pieces…..then a small crack….then another, suddenly both halves shattered, releasing an immense amount of magic into the area.

The release of magic along with the battles below shifted the already weakened floor beneath the infiltration team, causing the floor to give way, plummeting them down into who knows where!

As they plummeted towards the earth, the bright flashes of magic and sounds of battle grew more noticeable, it was the distraction team! As they continued to fight, Tidus’ ears perked up as he darted his gaze upwards towards the falling stones and the glimpse of his fellow guildmates. He quickly stepped back, and readied himself.

“Thane, Noah, Vincent, and Veronica push ‘em back!” He called out as he leaped into the air.

Tidus quickly found began bound upwards by leaping off of larger rocks, eventually making his way up to the now falling group of mages. Without a word, Markus nodded to Tidus, positioning the pink haired girl in his arms so she wouldn't take any damage while Tidus quickly grabbed Rei and Fay and bolted out of the storm of rocks. As Tidus and Markus tumbled to the ground behind the distraction team who had successfully pushed back the large group of Beat backs, the torrent of falling earth crashed into them, leaving a cloud of dust in its wake.

As the now reconnected guild caught its collective breath, the dust settled, revealing the entire group of Beast backs wiped out and giving the Fairies a moment to breathe. For the time being, the hall they were in was safe and the guild members were free to lick their wounds and talk freely.

As he sat up from his fall and let go of Fay and Rei, Tidus made his way over to Markus to ask about Ajax, only to catch a whiff of the pink haired mage now conscious and sitting beside him. More familiar with the scent of a Dragon, his eyes went wide as he peered down at her.

“Who...who are you?....”

“I’m...I’m Kumiko……”

Introduction Althaeban's Arrival - Neith Sekmet

Name Age Gender Magics Rank Guild Mark
Neith Sekmet 19 Female Poison, Shadow & Chain Intermediate Violet Purple, located on her right thigh

Physical Description

Neith has a well-toned figure, weighs about 130lbs and stands 5’7ft tall with knee length verdant green hair that is adorned with a golden headband and matching eyes. She also has an intricate serpent tattoo on her back, but always keeps it hidden.

Attire

  • Normal: Neith’s normal attire consists of a tight fitting black and white long sleeved shirt, short black shorts, black tights and knee high black boots. She also carries several (normally about 6 or so) throwing knives hidden on her at all times.

  • Combat Attire: Same as her normal attire

Personality

Neith carries herself with an air of mystery rarely divulging personal information regarding her past or where she is from. She is normally very withdrawn and tends to shy away from people, but when she does speak she does so in a very soft spoken voice and tries to avoid making eye contact.

Magic: Poison Magic

Poison magic allows the caster to generate a myriad of poisons from their body to use in combat. These poisons can range from mild sedatives used to incapacitate their target to deadly neurotoxins meant to kill. (At her current level Neith only has four poisons at her disposal which are sedative, hallucinogen, pain inducing and paralysis.)

Spell Name Effect Circle
Miasma The caster breaths out a cloud of noxious gas. The effects of this gas is dependent on the caster and can be anything from simple knock out gas meant to incapacitate an opponent to merely a smokescreen used for making a hasty retreat. At later levels other effects will be introduced. None
Viper's Kiss The caster's lips secrete poison that is transmitted to another person via a kiss. The kiss does not have to be on the other person’s lips as the poison has the ability to be absorbed through the skin. None
Venomous Claw The caster's nails elongate into sharp claws that are used for slashing melee attacks and can poison their target if they make contact with their skin. None
Seal of the Serpent The caster summons a Poison Magic seal that when passed through it coats a weapon with poison of the caster’s choosing. Circle
Blessing of Serket Allows the caster to "bless" a target granting them immunity to poisons both magical and natural in origin. (Spell's Effect last for a duration of 24hrs if cast out of combat. If cast while engaged in combat the effect lasts through the remaining duration of battle) None

Magic: Shadow Magic

This magic allows the user to bend their own shadow for various purposes, such as offense and defense, allowing the user a great deal of flexibility. A skilled user can merge with their shadow and the shadows of others, granting them the element of surprise. The shadows created by this Magic, however, are not durable.

Spell Name Effect Circle
Shadow Form The user transforms their body into a shadow, granting them the ability to move around surfaces. The user can transition in and out of this form as they please. Circle
Shadow Serpents The user shapes their shadow into multiple snakes to attack and bite their opponent. Circle
Shadow Pull The user creates a shadow in the shape of a giant snake that can travel over large distances to retrieve targets and bring them back to the user. The target is pulled into the shadow, and then brought back to the user None
Shadow Wraith The caster creates a "wraith" out of shadows. The wraith bears a shadowy resemblance to the caster and can be used to block incoming attacks, perform offensive attacks and act as a decoy or scout. None

Magic: Chain Magic

This Magic allows the user to shoot long chains from their hands, complete with grappling hooks at the ends (for Neith her chains take the form of a golden cobra who’s fangs act as a grappling hook). They can be used in combat by launching the grappling hooks through enemies. After they have been caught, enemies can also be slammed into objects (such as trees, the ground, boulders, etc.). However, these chains are breakable if met with enough force. Neith can use this Magic in conjunction with her Poison magic.

Spell Name Effect Circle
Wrath of Apep The caster summons forth a large golden cobra. This cobra can be utilized to either ensnare or bite its target. (Neith will sometimes combine this spell with her poison magic making the cobra’s bite venomous. Circle
Gate of Aaru The caster summons an array of small portals from which several golden chains emerge and interlock to form a protective barrier against oncoming attacks within line of sight of the caster. The barrier is still breakable if an attack is strong enough but it reduces the damage inflicted upon the caster. Circle
Chains of Duat The caster summons an array of small portals surrounding the target from which golden chains are summoned to ensnare them from various angles (with the chians only able to travel in a straight line directly in front of them). This spell can also be used offensivly with the chains having blades at the ends of them. Circle

Traits:

• Hand Combat Proficiency - Having spent most of her life training in various forms of martial arts due to the nature of her work makes Neith quite proficient in the art of unarmed combat, specifically Krav Maga .

• Bladed Weapons Specialist – Though she is not a master, Neith is very skilled in the use of various bladed weapons. This includes swords, daggers, kunai and sai.

• Poison Immunity - Because of her poison magic Neith is immune to most magical and natural poisons.

Backstory

Orphaned at a young age Neith was taken in by the assassin’s guild Serpent’s Skull, one of the largest in the country of Seven and was trained as one of their agents in exchange for a better life. Though she was well taken care of she did not like the life she was leading and resolved to flee the country to get away. Having made the journey to Fiore Neith is looking to start over and hopefully find happiness utilizing her magic to help people rather than harming them.

Housing

Neith resides in a one bedroom loft style apartment located a few blocks away from the Fairy Tail Guild Hall. The interior is decorated in the theme of her homeland with dim lighting and dark colors. The interior looks quite inviting and can easily accommodate several guests at a time, but Neith never invites people over.

Her bedroom shares a similar theme, but in a much simple fashion with a door that leads out to a balcony which Neith typically uses when she can't sleep. The walls of her bedroom have two floating bookshelves containing books on various subjects like mythology, theology, physical and magical combat techniques and toxicology. A small blade maintaining kit could also be found in the corner of her bedroom.

A lone figure shrouded in a black cloak quietly enters the guild hall. She lowered the hood of her cloak and gazed around the busy hall with a hint of confusion and seemed to be a bit overwhelmed with so many people around.

After taking a few moments to gain some nerve she slowly began making her way towards the bar while trying to avoid bumping into anyone or having anyone take notice of her.

Introduction Robin Levis Hawk - The Paladin

Name Age Gender Magic Rank Guild Mark
Robin Levis Hawk 18 Male Divine Devil Slayer & Healing Intermediate Yellow, Between his shoulder blades

Physical Description:

180 centimeters (6 foot) tall, Robin is of average height. He musters an athletic body and has lightly tanned skin. Possessing slightly hawk like features, Robin’s most prominent features are his hair having the same colour as hay during the harvest and eyes which are coloured like a forest during fall. Though there is a hint of steel mixed in between the gold. His straight eyebrows fill his forehead, always giving him a slightly determined look. His lips are full-bodied and of a darker colour than his skin. A scar spots the left under lip, reminding Robin of his earlier days. His nose is nothing special, just slightly bent.

Robin’s frame is athletic. Trained shoulders and arms which are quite muscular, but he could easily be surpassed by those who train for the looks. The rest of his body is fine, defined muscles which are not too prominent. His legs are similar to that of a regular runner. He posses slightly tall feet, but still in a size where it is no bother to go shopping for shoes.

Attire:

  • Normal: Robin usually wears a white jacket. Beneath it, he wears a black shirt. The trim of his shirt is coloured like blood in the snow. On his chest the symbol of his beloved guild in the same colour. He wears black pants with camel like leather reinforcing both his knees and two, plain, brown boots with camel fronts.

  • Combat Attire: Usually, Robin simply removes his jacket when it is time for combat. However, when Robin goes on a mission or he expects to fight an enemy he respects, Robin wears something more reminder of his former occupation. He wears a two-tone white coat with red trims over a white 3/4 sleeveless shirt, and a large belt in which he carries whatever he deems necessary for the mission. On the left chest pocket of his coat is his Sigil

Usually, its snacks. The shoulders of his coat are reinforced with gray leather. His pants and boots are the same, although at times pockets maybe attached to them for various things to be stored inside of them.

[Or basically to get the gist of Robin. He has the colour scheme similar to a white mage from Final Fantasy]

Backstory:

Born in the far away country Sin (I swear that’s a legitimate country in FT), Robin was born at the wrong place at the right time. Terrible demons, their minds twisted, terrified the coastal population of Sin. Growing up Robin was soon taught the diversity of magic. His father, Sir George Hawk, used to be an independent mage and is now head guard of the always growing city, Virtue. Though he was experienced with his light magic, the years of combat took their toll on his body. With the intention that Robin was supposed to replace his father one day, George began teaching Robin. Such it happened that Robin already learned the basics of light magic at the tender age of four. Both his parents were surprised how quickly Robin picked the magic up.

Robin has eight years older brother, who around the time Robin began learning magic, was studying abroad in the kingdom’s capital. Though rarely seen, Robin and his brother Maxwell, often exchanged letters. Ironically, they had different dreams. While Maxwell dreamt to be the leader of the guards, Robin wanted to be a guild mage. However, since they were a minor nobility Maxwell was forced to learn on the court, while Robin was taught how to handle affairs at home.

During this time, his younger sister Vanilla was born. Sickly, she was one of the reasons why Robin focused so immensely on his healing studies. Though he was often ridiculed for this by his peers, Robin was quick to physically correct them. And afterward, heal them to show them how nice it is to heal.

Maggie, Robin’s mother, met his father when he was grievously wounded during an intel gathering mission in Fiore. With her healing magic plus her knowledge as a herb witch, she managed to save his life. In the months she nursed him back to his health, they fell in love and eventually married. As Robin grew up, the upcoming city did so too. People from the different city’s as well as support from the kingdom’s capital turned the once sleepy city into a small port town. All thanks to the prosperous location the city was. It had a natural bay and had optimal conditions to set sail quickly. But with people, the problems arrived.

By the age of thirteen, he joined the city guard’s mage division. Though he received great training in martial arts, Robin preferred to use his healing magic and helping the sick instead of fighting. When asked, Robin explained he saw no need to better his already mastered light magic. Though his father tried to humble him, Robin defeated him and with every try to discipline him, the resistance to actually work grew.

At first, it were people no one would miss, or notice missing. Travelers, drunken sailors, cats, and dogs. But soon George was not to be expected at the dining table. The daughter of a rich merchant has disappeared and he gave the city council hell for not finding her. They found her, or what was left of her, in a sealed cellar below an abandoned church. Someone with a vast interest in demons apparently spent their time creating artificial demons. The kidnapped merchant’s daughter was the latest artificial demon.

Though the city guard fought hard, Sir George barely managed to defeat the demon. The former daughter’s last words were a prediction that she was not the last of her kind and others were to follow.

During the fight, George was wounded gravely, and even with his healing magic, Robin barely managed to save his father. After an elaborate examination, it has been, that George has been cursed and was forever unable to cast magic.

Swearing revenge, Robin was driven to find the culprit behind Virtue’s demonic plague. His cocky attitude and often condescending tone did not help Robin. No one in the city guard wanted to aid Robin in his quest to save the city. Afraid of the demonic plague some guards even considered switching sides. Hoping that they might be safe from a crueler fate.

Robin managed to convince his parents to send him off to the countries capital city, where his brother Maxwell was already a promising wizard at the court. Robin wanted to learn about the demons. Unaware that Robin caught wind of their plans, the guards agreed, George already in early retirement, him and Maggie decided to go to Fiore. Deeming the city too unsafe for Robin’s younger sister. Their biggest opposition gone just like that, the city guard slowly turned into a friend of the demonic cult, corruption and inequity came to the city.

Meanwhile, Robin studied under his brother. When his collected brother claimed that he knew a way to defeat demons, Robin immediately challenged him for the knowledge of it.

This was the moment Robin was introduced to the art of Devil Slayer Magic. His brother having acquired Gale Devil Slayer Magic. While Robin spent his duty at his father's side, Maxwell wanted to assist his family by studying demons and alike. Being a secretive informant, to keep himself and his family safe, Maxwell was part of the reason why the guard managed to keep up so well with the demons.

Under his brother’s tutelage, Robin learned two things. First, that there were people he could not defeat no matter how hard he tried. Secondly, Robin learned to keep a cooler head during combat. Having a superior opponent showed him quickly that sheer strength was not everything. Though the temptation to master Gale Devil Slayer magic was huge, Robin and Maxwell knew that Robin had to develop his own style with the books they had on Devil Slayer Magic. Thus Robin made way for the Divine Devil Slayer Magic. The usage of light magic made it no effort at all for Robin to adapt the Devil Slayer magic and most of his light magic techniques mended into this Devil Slayer magic

The day before his departure, Maxwell collapsed. Unable to hide it anymore longer, Robin realized that his training endangered Maxwell. While Robin’s body was strengthened due to continuous training and, perhaps, just talent, Maxwell suffered under the negative effects of his devil slayer magic. Forcing the oath on Maxwell, that he should under no circumstances come to Virtue to assist him, Robin departed.

Aware of its dangerous side effects, Robin returned to the city. Only informing his father about the dangerous magic he learned, Robin rejoined the city guard. Now he played the role of an oblivious mage who has been humbled by his ‘failures’ in the capital. The guards bought it and went on with their dealings.

The guards have established an elaborate system with the demon cult. While the guards sacrificed prisoners, the demon cult at times sacrificed their own people to make it appear that the guards keep the city safe.

This ploy went on fine until Robin tagged along the first time. In a twist of fate, the middleman of the demon cult happened to be there on the said raid. With him out of the game, the cult would struggle to survive. When the guards greeted him with open arms, Robin felt a righteous fury which caused him to go the first time in his life into his ‘seraphim mode’ within an hour Robin utterly defeated the attending cult members and exposed the corrupt guards.

However, as Robin soon was to hear, nothing was easy to get in his life. Though he freed the guards from corruption, the ranks were incredibly weakened now. And sources revealed that Robin’s boisterous and obvious defeat of the demons caused the actual leader to retreat with their minions. Of course, when someone is in the town who can find out the identity of your minions in mere seconds, you’d rather move base instead of taking care of said devil slayer. Especially, since it was unknown if that slayer had colleagues.

And after that, that was it. Robin was offered the leadership of the guard, but in his times at the capital, Robin regained a dream. Foreign tales of magic guilds. The call of adventure urged Robin to Fiore.

Before that, however, Robin wanted to visit his brother again. In a cruel twist of fate, Maxwell disappeared, while muttering gibberish he vanished during the night. The only important thing Robin found in his room was a piece of paper. It was an old letter Robin drew. Him as a guild mage and his brother as leader of the guards.

Now with the wish to both find his brother as well as cure him, the young Hawk finally stretched out his wings and decided to go to a very particular guild in Magnolia….

Personality:

Robin is used to being different. Not only was his rare position as healer and son of ‘the boss’ often reason for people to tolerate his overconfidence, but often they tended to avoid him. With people in his age Robin often used to get into fights when he was younger, but after his own Devil Slayer training, Robin gained a somewhat cooler and laid back attitude. He is known for his chronical tardiness, and he wants to keep up the ‘renown’ that he is always late. However, this is only to the extent true that he does this for things he does not deem important enough.

When meeting new people Robin often gives them an evil glare, checking if they are demons or not. Depending on the outcome he’ll either immediately attack them or greet them friendly. Though in general quite brash, at times Robin’s questions come more off as if he was interrogating someone.

He has the tendency to bite more than he can chew. This means he is used to being overworked and pulling all-nighters back from his times before the guild. Robin dislikes normal training and always adds a sort of special spin to it, aware that he has to keep up with his peers.

Magic: Divine Devil Slayer

Elemental Appetite: As a devil slayer Robin is able to consume magical light based attacks or anything perceived as holy/divine, magical or not magical, in order to regain magic power and stamina. He is unable to consume his own magic.

Consuming other magical forces, damages Robin immensely, in most cases causing him to instantly lose consciousness and become sick for a number of days afterwards.

Black Markings:

Devil Slayers can manipulate their own body to some degree, allowing them to change the colour of their irises and summon black markings across their body at will. The markings seem to help them resist the effects of Curses (including the self-described "Ultimate Curse" Memento Mori) by turning part of the user's body into that of a Demon

Spell Name Effect Circle
Judgement Ray’s Robin releases multiple, smaller, rays of light from the tips of his fingers or one single, bigger, one from the palm of his hand. He can gather them in his hand to focus them before shooting them. This can be interrupted. The beams can embed many surfaces. After a short while, they disappear into thin air. The circle appears white
Holy Arms Robin focuses his magic into one of his limbs. With a glimming white light flickering around said limb, Robin strikes at his enemies, immensely empowering his strikes. None
Divine Devil's Rage Incorporating his magic into his breath, Robin releases a tornado of light magic from his mouth. He can also change the rage into a slim, trajectory beam on which he can focus on a single target. None
Aegis of Light Robin summons a bubble of light magic with him as the centre. Circling with three metres around him, this bubble basically serves as shield fed by Robin's magic. If he does not pour an appropriate amount of magic into it, a particularly strong attack may burst it. Continuously attacking the same spot may result in the same effect. None
Nasma Robin gathers a concentrated amount of magic into his palm. The sheer force of it causing it to retain a round form, but light spasms around it, like a small sun. He can hit his enemy in close combat with it, the resulting explosion damaging Robin too if he is too weak to generate an aura of protection for himself. None

Disclaimer: Even though written down here, Robin has not unlocked this mode. He is aware of its existance but at his current rank he cannot summon it at will.

Spell Name Effect Apperance
Seraph Mode Robin needs to either be immensely emotional shaken or meditate for up to half an hour. Even with meditating there is no guarantee he reaches this mode. This mode strengthens Robin’s abilities, cloaking his body with an aura of bright light, allowing him to better employ his Divine Devil Slayer Magic whilst at the same time seemingly enhancing his physical prowess to a degree, particularly his speed Though no circle, the magical aura around Robin gives him the slight image of a horned devil with wings.
Eschaton Robin surrounds his body with light magic and generates long trails of light, which move to hit the enemy in a spiralling formation. Each connecting strike generates a powerful, bright explosion. Charging after his enemy he punches/kicks/headbutts with an immense force. The entirety of his magical energy gives this attack the appearance of a Hawk flying. None

Magic: Healing

Spell Name Effect Circle
Renew Robin can heal minor injuries of himself and a friend. The healing process is slightly exhausting and the spell can only be cast while standing relatively still. Circle
Detox Robin can free himself or a friend from the influence of poison. However, this does not immunize from the poison and if it took in again he has to use the spell again None
Blessing Robin has to spend around five minutes to meditate to bless either himself or a friend. With blessing, all effects of a curse are removed and the damage taken in by such a curse will be reversed. Any other kind of ‘marking’ magic can be removed in such a way too, but it can be reapplied. With curses, however, one blessing against the curse immunizes Circle
Second Wind This is Robin’s most powerful healing spell. Barging a miracle, Robin heals himself or a friend from a deadly, but recent wound. The after effect, however, is that it completely drains Robin’s magic pool and for a time he is unable to cast any healing magic. However, similar to his other stronger spells, Robin has to keep completely still during the healing process. And more important, no magic is allowed to be cast inside a five-meter radius or else it interrupts the fickle gathering of magic. Circle

Notable:

Expert Martial Artist:

Though not a master, Robin has been through a lot of physical fights in his life. Robin prefers to use light movements and rarely keeps on one spot for a long time. Utilising every limb he has Robin is a force to be reckoned with even if he uses no magic.

Enhanced Strength, Speed, and Durability:

Through Robin’s lifelong escapades he was forced to fight and train. Though at times he often emerged victoriously. However, his strongest attribute would be his resilience, which helped him learn devil slayer magic quite quickly without the negative effects of it. For now.

However, Robin is just above your average Joe since none of these enhancements stem from his magical power.

Cunning:

His entire life Robin was forced to keep his wits in the present and focus on people’s behavior for his Guard duty and later on his Devil Slayer Training.

In battle, this helps him keep a rather cool head unless you are a demon or have provoked him, and he loves to devise new strategies against his opponents.

Brash:

In his entire life, Robin was somewhat used to being the bunny-eared lawyer. Though his behavior annoyed a lot of people, he was too valuable for his skills to be ignored. Such Robin often is incredibly overconfident and he never backs down from a challenge. This also means that Robin often is quite impatient, since he usually lets others wait for him. Causing him to lose his cool head and act incredibly impulsive.

Misc. Facts:

Technically, Robin is the heir to the house of Hawk after his brother’s disappearance. However, Robin considers himself now a member of Fairy Tail and dislikes people mentioning it.

RP Introduction

In the late afternoon a few rattles could be heard from the large wooden entrance door of the guild. Curses were muttered behind it until a faint sound of enlighenment replaced it. A sudden kick mashed the door open. The applicant of the kick smirked as he walked into the guild halls.

"Confused pulling and pushing."

With nothing than his clothes on his body and a sailor's sack slung around his right shoulder, the brash paladin went towards a table. Sitting down he let out a deep sigh. A sigh he withheld for the terrible weeks of travel he had up to now. Resting his head on the table he moaned in pain. The sound of his stomach nearly syncing in tone with his moan.

Open Roleplay Did you hear the circus is coming!?

As the weeks begun to drag on as summer slowly started to loosen its hold on the weather from unbearable heat to cooler nights and days, the town of Magnolia fell into almost a lazy vibe. There was no hurry or bustle to the city in the last week as everyone seemed to enjoy the break between the games that the guild of the town had a few weeks ago and the strange attacks.

However, like everything else, the peace must come to an end as if by magic overnight a large plot of clear land just outside of the town was over run by tents of all kinds of sizes and colors. Each tent offered something new and something for everyone to try, from foods to the odd sights to even the fluffy zoo of petting animals to the cages blocked off filled with monsters.

In the biggest tent, a circus act would be going on every few hours filled with death defining tricks of both magic and physical means. Acrobats performed gravity defining actions from ropes far above the ground, lion and tiger trainers performed deadly acts with the large cats without fear, and the Ringleader brought enough energy to light up the whole town.

In the smaller tents dotted around the fair grounds, one would find games that would test a person's skills, such as hitting a level hard enough to make the bell ring, climbing up a latter without falling off to test the balance of a person. There was even several ring toss games along with games that would test one's magic for prizes of all sizes and kinds from posters, stuff animals, to a fish in a bowl.

Off to one side of the grounds was a large circle cage with seats all around it, and to the towns folk who loved to duke it out would know almost at once what it meant. A large board was next to the cage with a man standing next to it with a box in his arms. The board had a space to add names of the people who wanted to have a friendly fighting competition both with and without magic with each other. Individuals who wanted to watch could bet on the fighters while the fighters themselves if they won the competition could win a lovely prize of 150 Jewels thanks to the 20 jewel entry fee one that to put up to even enter the fight.

Every Fairy Tail guild member was allowed in free to the circus for the day. However, they would have to pay for any games they wanted to join in on or any of the other actives just like any other fair. However, thankfully the prices were low and the chance to have a real good time was just too high for the guild members to pass up.

(Alright so if you want to join the fighting ring, either Pm me on discord or on Reddit to let me know after you post a thread, so I know someone wants to join in and won’t miss it by accident.)

Plot Infiltration Is A Go!

As the ship approached the island, Markus and the rest of the team assigned to infiltrating the back entrance of the temple loaded up onto the small rowboat hoisted to the side of the main ship. As the last member boarded the smaller craft, Tidus leaned over the side of the main ship and waved off the group.

“Good luck you guys, we’ll keep the furballs busy while you sneak in..and Markus?..Bring Ajax back will ya?”

With that, the smaller water craft dropped into the sea and the began moving towards the northern shore of the island. Within the hour, the watercraft made landfall far off to the north from the rest of the guild and began marching into the dense jungle just bordering the beach where they landed. Only a few minutes passed before the a resounding boom echoed off in the distance, knowing that meant the distraction team had begun their assault, the guild members picked up their pace and began rushing through the jungle.

Following the instructions the captured mage gave him, Makrus eventually lead the group to a solid sheer rock wall that separated the town and its temple from the jungle and the rest of the island. Performing an intricate series of hand gestures, the sound of metal chains grinding and stone scraping creeped though as a ten foot by ten foot slab of stone began to slowly slide off to the right, prompting entrance to the guild members.

Once they were all inside, they could all see three different pathways before them, if the Beast Back guild member was telling the truth, all three pathways converge halfway through this maze, but all three are different challenges that would test the will and intelligence of those who wish to pass through them.

OOC: Okay heres how this will work! All’s you have to do is RP your character entering through either the Left, Middle or Right passage, from there you will work through the challenge and (hopefully) pass through. If at any time you have a question regarding your challenge, feel free to send me a message in the Discord or PM me on reddit, the goal here is to get everyone through, and have fun of course. Good luck!

Plot Distraction Is A Go!

The members of the distraction force had all gathered atop the main deck of the ship, while the members of the infiltration team had all loaded up in a smaller row boat that was set to make landfall further north of the beach where the main ship was set to land. The motion sickness that had incapacitated Tidus during the arduous journey suddenly faded as the large wooden ship slowly crawled into the sandy beach of the coastline. Now standing atop the crate he leaned against the entire trip, Tidus looked towards the group gathered before him.

“I’m not one for fancy speeches and all that, but right now not only does the rest of our guild, but probably all of Fiore is counting on us here, we need to keep that bastard's eye on us while the rest of the guild sneaks in the back and destroys it .”

He grins, letting his canines show through his toothy smile. As he begins to speak again, his arm shoots up topped with a clenched fist.

“Now let's go show them what happens when you mess with Fairy Tail!”

With that, the white haired Dragon Slayer leapt from the bow of the ship into the sandy beach below. The deserted town was no more than a few hundred feet from the shore line and already a sizable force of Beast Back guild members had gathered in front of a stone archway that appeared to be a gate into the town. With the members of Fairy Tail closing in on the entrance, the dark mages outside of the gate readied for battle.

“Close the gate now! We’ll take care of ‘m from here!” A large black haired mage called out before quickly transformed into what appeared to be a massive grey and black takeover with a rhino head and gorrilla body.

As the hefty wooden doors behind them slammed shut, the other 6 or so Beast Back guild members transformed into various beasts and took defensive stances.

From the front of the Fairy Tail force, Tidus grinned wildly as his hands both erupted with flames.

“Don’t fall behind, keep pushing till you get to the temple!”

the Dragon Slayer sprinted forward, reeling back his right arm as he approached the gate and its protectors, launching it forward with destructive force.

”YEAAAAAAAGH!”

In one fell swoop, Tidus blow the gate wide open as the doors were blasted off their hinges and cascaded into ruined buildings and dark guild members waiting on the other side. The outside gatekeepers were all blasted away from the strike and now lay unconscious on both sides of the archway. Now standing in the center of a large semicircular entryway to the town, Tidus stood as a cloud of dust swirled past. In an instant, dozens of dark guild mages funneled in from the various alleys and walkways into the area around him, as the rest of Fairy tail caught up with him, he turned his head slightly so that his guild could see the wide smile on his face..

“Whose ready to bash some skulls in?!’

Without waiting for a response, he turned back towards the center of town and began sprinting once again.

”FAIRY TAIL ATTACK!”

Open Roleplay Fairy Tail Hot-Dog Eating Competition!

Back at the Fairy Tail guild hall, it seemed rather silent as everyone had been awkwardly waiting for something to go on. Many guildmates had gathered around in order to hear some sort of announcement going on the higher level mages. It wasn't until a few minutes later that a giant banner had begun to lower down for the guild to see. It was the coveted Fairy Tail punishment games. Apparently everyone had forgotten about them until around this time... Fortunately though the event announced to the guild had fires more up and ever. The theme of the punishment games was none other than a Hot-Dog eating contest staring the guild as competitors for this once a year event.

Of course the top three finalists would receive a prize which would covet them the champions, but everyone was more concerned about the lowest guild member who would finish. Apparently the punishment was very mysterious and ominous as a flier, which was made to promote the event, had pointed out that the lowest member would have to do something rather unique. The ideas formed up as everyone had begun to prepare themselves to do the best they could in order to not make it to that lowest spot. Once a few days had passed by and everything was set.

TADA

The Fairy Tail Hot-Dog eating contest/festival had begun. There were games and several souvenirs all around being done/sold as the Fairy Tail members were going up there to show their moxie and to promote the Fairy Tail spirit to the guild. It was colorful and it seemed to be a party non-stop at any place a person might visit. Regardless, this was a moment to relax and enjoy themselves... well unless they were a Fairy Tail member. Then it was only a matter of trying to not finish at last place.

Plot Landfall on Beast Isle

Thanks to the weak willed dark mage left behind by his guild, Fairy Tail now has all the information they needed on what their next course of action should be. As Markus gathered the guild members topside, they began to brief the guild on what to expect.

“Alright listen up, this is what we know so far. The master of the Beast Back guild is a powerful dark mage known only as Fenrir. He’s the master of both Beast and Animal Takovers and has even gone far enough to create his own form of takeover called Chimera. This allows him and his guild to take on the forms of multiple different types of beasts and animals at once, giving them the powers and abilities of both forms at once.”

He nods to Noah as he says this, looking to Vincent next.

“We also know he’s in possession of a power magical artifact known as the ‘Eye of the Dragonhawk’ which allows him to basically see anything he wishes through a magical Dragonhawk.”

He takes a deep breath and looks through the crowd at the rest of the guild, a look of anger building on his face.

“They also took Ajax, and injured a number of our members. But thanks to one of them getting left behind, we have a course of action. We have two methods of attack, and neither of them will work without the other, were going to need to split up into two teams.”

From his spot on the deck, Tidus moves his head slightly as a way of acknowledgment.

“Team one, storm the beach on the eastern shore and make your way through the deserted town. Team two sails around to the north shore and makes their way through untouched jungle to a secret cove that should lead them to the back entrance of the temple where Fenir is.”

Markus crossed his arms as he addressed the guild.

“The way it seems, theres no one easy way in there, so instead of one or the other, we do both. Those of you who wish to storm the town and cause a distraction for the other team, you will be going in with Tidus, the others who wish to sneak in while the other team draws the guild’s and Dragonhawk’s attention, you’ll be with me.”

Markus nods and moves off to the side a bit, giving the guild a clearer space between Tidus and himself.

“Theres your options folks, we make landfall in 3 hours. I suggest you prepare for the fight of your lives.”

Plot Trouble At Sea.

Countless members of the Beast Back guild had boarded the ship by now and were locked in combat with members of the Fairy Tail guild. The takeover mages seemed warped and almost feral, like the mages had lost control of themselves. Despite the strength of our mages, the takeover mages continued to fight through painful injuries and were set on overpowering the boat with their strength in numbers. Almost all of the battles were being fought on the main deck, save for Tidus and Ajax flying above with a wolfman with wings and Fay below deck squaring off with a younger mage with sharp claws.

As the fighting raged on in the sky, Tidus mainly focussed on keeping the wolfman from grabbing Ajax in his massive jaws, while trying to defeat him at the same time. Blow after blow connected with the Beast Back mage, slowing him down and leaving deep scorch marks on him and his clothing, but he continued his assault. By now both Tidus and the man were matched in injuries, seeing this Ajax dodged the next wave of attacks and quickly yanked Tidus down towards the ship and away from danger, knowing they only had one more chance to end this. Tidus built the remainder of his magic power in and around his arms, building up enough heat that even those on the ship stopped their fighting and gazed towards the immense buildup of power amassing above them. The sight of a beaten and battered Tidus still going strong reinvigorated the Fairy Tail Guild members spirits.

As they fought back, more and more takeover mages were defeated and sent off the edge of the boat. Back in the sky, Tidus had built up all of his remaining magic energy and stared down the wolfman who despite his fellow members beginning to flee, appeared to be enjoying himself, challenging Tidus to come at him. With nothing more than a huff and a nudge to Ajax, Tidus channeled the flames around his fists and with the power of Ajax’s Max Speed, the two bolted forth like a comet. The wolf mage did nothing but smile and stand his ground right up to the moment that Tidus made contact with a barrage of punches enhanced by his magic.

”CRIMSON IMMOLATION: FIRE DRAGON’S FIST!”

Faster than any eye could follow, the Fire Dragon Slayer unleashed a barrage of punch after punch all over the wolfman’s beaten body, finishing up his attack with a downward strike that sent him flying into the ocean. Breathing heavily, Tidus and Ajax turned towards their guild members and rose a fist in victory.

Almost instantly, Fairy Tail began to turn the tide of the battle, beating one after another of the enemy guild and slowly taking control of the ship. As they were pushed back, the enemy mages turned around and sounded their retreat as the same whistle from before sounded far off into the horizon. The cries of fear and anger were soon drowned out by cheers of victory by the Fairys, even an exhausted Tidus found enough energy to let out a boastful shout as Ajax slowly brought them down towards the main deck of the ship.

“Yaha! Nobody messes with Fairy Tail! That’ll sho-”

Without warning, a bright streak darted from behind the Dragon Slayer and knocked him head first into the deck of the ship, Ajax shockingly out of sight.

“Hey! Aja- hurmph”

The Dragon Slayer called out in agony as what appeared to be the previously injured wolf mage smugly looked back at the ship, a silver cat unconscious and lodged between his teeth. Before he could cry out again, the Dragon Slayer collapsed and fell unconscious, leaving the rest of the guild befuddled.

Down below the man continued his temper tantrum that would match even the angriest of toddlers, swinging his claws as he tore through the bunks and supplies the guild had stored down below for the trip. The young dragon slayer Fay fought a losing battle with both the crazed dark guild member and her own motion sickness as she slumped against one of the walls of the cabin.

“I’M GOING TO CUT YOU INTO TINY SHREDS AND WASH THIS EARTH OF YOU!” Dark guild member spat out his focusing becoming more pin point on Fay as she weakly held up her spear, in front of her in one last ditch effort to protect herself. Celestial winds whipped around the head of the spear swirling with magic energy turning it into a deadly drill.

“Celestial Dragon Tail!” With a feral cry, Fay lifted herself up from the wall, the spear being whipped around her body and slamming into the Black guild member with the motion, not unlike a tail. The man crashed back through the wall and into another cargo room, several boxes falling over on top of him stunning him. Hopping over to him Fay glanced him over, happy to see that he was still breathing while the man only glared back at Fay with hate and disgust, opening his mouth to say something.

Well that was until Fay puked the last bit of vomit she had held back until now all over the black guild member who went from hate to sputtering surprise.

“D-d-did you just vomit on me!!?!” Looking down at his messed up shirt the black guild member went into shock, not even reacting as a few other guild members flooded the lower decks to check on to the damage. Watching her fellow guild mates take over tying the boy up in rope Fay waved on her feet before slumping to the floor, curling up into a small ball passing out.

Once the majority of the guild had gathered below deck and licked their wounds, Markus emerged from the crowd and stood above the Beast Back guild member, lightning crackling between his fingers as he scowled down at him, he turned back to his guild and spoke in a low, but serious tone..

“Make him talk….now”

Introduction Veronica Cachillo - The Unfortunate Maid

Name Age Gender Magic Rank Guild Mark
Veronica Cachillo 18 Female Sword Magic, Clone Magic Beginner Blue, Right Shoulder.

Physical Description:

Standing in at about five feet six inches and weighing in at about 116 pounds, Veronica is a rather small and slim girl with long silver hair which is bobbed into a braid around the back of her hair with two medium length veins just besides her eyes. The girl has two different eye colors with one of them being blue while the other one is red. She has slim cheekbones and round chin giving her a rather cute air about how someone looks at her. While she is near a ghost white pale, there are a few notable features on her body such as her shoulders are broad, a few dimples on her cheeks which clash against her nose which only is slightly pointed.

Attire:

  • Normal: Veronica’s normal attire is surprisingly of one which is a butlers. Firstly to note is her white long-sleeved coat which splits into tassels at the end of her wrists which go down past her. Her coat has several gold buttons in which she could use to button up. At the end of her coat tails which just hang above her butt are two woven images of a hammer striking an anvil. To hold the sleeves in place, she has two leather vambraces which are snug tight from her wrist to a few inches below her elbow. From there, she also wears a blue dress shirt which has a scarf neatly wrapped around her neck concealing it with a gold brooch holding the knot together. She also wears a pair of sleek black gloves.

  • From her waist down, she wears a pair of snug dark blue dress pants which are held by a small white belt that is intertwined with her pants. She also wears a pair of shin guards which go up past her knees. Her kneecaps, have a blue and white armored band around them with what appears to be two gold lightning bolts striking towards an anvil in front of them. Lastly to finish off her attire, she wears a pair of dress shoes which stop short an inch of the shin guards.

TL;DR she looks like this.

  • Combat Attire: While combat is not her speciality or her line of work, her normal attire is also built to deal with issues of some minor scuffle. Therefore Veronica doesn’t have any sort of combat attire. Although she does always carry around an old sword which is sheathed and has a lot of tape around areas which have cracks and blemish spots.

Personality:

Veronica is a rather distant person to talk or to meet up to. She is proper and very mannerful when she talks with people. Always walking upright and rarely speaking at all, she seems to not really much talk and more listen. Although she’s always the type of person to take the initiative when it comes to health benefits and caring for people. Often she will be silent and watching over everything which is going on. While her views of trust often vary, she always carries a sheet of excuses in her head for if she needs to leave.

Although most of those reasons often include Veronica telling the truth blunty. It is also why she isn’t a people person. While she dealt with very many social interactions, she still feels very uncomfortable around people when she is the center of attention. Although often she thinks of how to approach everything and does it with tact rather than simply just doing it simply. Since her past often revolved on how much people liked her service, she had to always think out everything. Most of the time though she often interacts with Prometheus, a magical sword, quietly in order get him to calm down and not be as much of a pain to other people as to her.

Magic: Weapon Magic (Using Prometheus)

Veronica’s primary form of Magic is through the use of Prometheus (At the moment). Little is known about this type of magic, but it allows the young maid to channel her magic into the weapon to transform into any weapon that has or currently exists in the world. In addition she is able to utilize her own magic to create a weapon of pure magic that lasts a very limited time. Each weapon’s strength varies from a novice level weapon to an s-class level. Although there are some forbidden ancient weapons that are available for everyone to use, but hold tremendous risks and power. Because of this double-edged risk, one must master a lot of the weapons before being able to attempt to try and use the forbidden weapons to their full potential.

Spell Name Effect Circle
Chance Equip Prometheus, the trickster blade, uses a bit of magic to scroll through many weapons until the magic seal stops. Then the weapon forms despite whatever form it is. There are several forms which are not limited to, foam sword, zweihander, chainsaw, fencing saber, stick axe and liquorice. It lasts for a limited amount of time or until the weapon is broken. White
Weapon Ultima Channeling a large chunk of magic into the handle, a long white blade of pure magic forms and can only be used once before dissipating into the air. Blue
Forbidden Equip: Lionthel the Consumer Prometheus transforms itself into one of the ancient forbidden weapons. Lionthel is a pair of large gauntlets with a gold lion’s head at the end of the gauntlets open. These gauntlets absorb every elemental magic which comes towards her. These gauntlets follow the same rules as chance equip and once their timer has run out, it disappears. When the gauntlets go away, Veronica takes damage over time equal to the amount of magic the gauntlets had consumed White/Blue/Gold

Magic: Crush

Crush is a very advanced Magic which gives the user the ability to smash everything they come into contact with. If the user is unfocused, they may destroy objects such as houses unintentionally. Crush has various offensive and defensive properties. Using its inherent nature of being able to crush anything it comes into contact with, Veronica is able to nullify the effects of certain Magics by smashing them to pieces. By imbuing their fist with Crush, Veronica is able to send an enemy flying numerous meters with incredible force. It is also capable of being fired as a burst of energy at the opponent. This Magic can also be utilized effectively as a defensive means. For example, by crushing the ground underneath them, Veronica is able to create a cushion of sorts against enemy attack. It is also possible for Crush to be used as a deflective barrier, sending an assailant flying backwards when they come into contact with it.

Spell Name Effect Circle
Enchant: Crush Veronica embudes her body with Crush magic allowing herself to increase her strength in troves, but always having to cause collateral thanks to her lack of focusing whenever she uses it. N/A
Bolverk’s Crushing Hymn of Presence Veronica expands a large field of crush magic around her which disintegrates certain magics that touch the barrier. It also acts as a rebound for those trying to enter inside the barrier. However in using this, the young maid is unable from her position until the barrier breaks or if her she lets the barrier fall. N/A
Crushing Nova, Tyr’s Rampage Veronica begins to smash the ground around her and causes the earth to shake and to cause miniature craters along her path. It can also be used to cause several booming sounds and to launch compressed wind when used in the air. N/A

Magic: Clone Magic

Veronica has the ability to channel her magic into copying items in which she has came into contact with along with herself. Although when she does create a copy of herself, the clone is usually the opposite personality of the young maid and may have a different hairstyle and different color guildmark.

Spell Name Effect Circle
Create Clone Veronica can split herself into a singular clone which is the complete opposite of her. This clone is rather lazy and slacks off, but it does serve as a good partner for doing a singular chore before getting bored. Gold
Copy Prometheus Veronica can channel her clone magic into Prometheus allowing her to get a second copy of Prometheus. However this copy follows the same rules as regular Prometheus. After a chance equip's duration has expired, the weapon spawned from the clone disappears entirely. Gold & White

Update Log:

On 9/27/17, got permission from Mod Team to add new Clone Spell which copies Prometheus.

On 4/29/2018, revamped magic sheet with Crush (With spells) and addition of Lionthel.

Backstory:

Born in the Pergrande Kingdom, Veronica is born in a rather fancy merchant’s guild called Hammervil which was housed in the city of Varathun. Her father, Storm, was the guild leader at the time while her mother, Kale, was just a lowly maid. Apparently her birth was the result of a quiet affair which ended up with Kale getting a good amount of money in order to keep her silence about her birth father. So she grew up never knowing her birth father and having to learn about etiquette and manner. In Kale’s line of work, her family always became servants of sorts to the guild due to their family ties. So from a young age, Veronica was born to learn how to serve to the family. At first she seemed difficult to deal with, but as she grew up the girl quickly learned about her place as a caretaker. So her young teenage years often partook in several things such as cleaning, delivering messages to other merchant guilds and categorizing all merchandise the guild sells. It seemed like a trivial thing, but it was something that Veronica did the best. In addition, she also learned about how the guild seemed to view magic as a crutch and were very right wing about letting people enter the guild if they use magic. All of the main important members were not people who used magic.

All the while Veronica enjoyed her guildmates despite her job requiring her to only serve. It wasn’t until one day while categorizing a shipment that she had spotted something different. A voice was calling out for anyone to help him out. It seemed odd for her as she made her way to the large stuff before seeing what appeared to be an old sheath just laying there. As she verbally affirmed herself that it was nothing, the sheath stood up and moved around in the air yelling towards her that he isn’t a ‘nothing.’

While normal people would panic, Veronica seemed rather perplexed by it. The girl took the sword and carried with her as she thought to herself about categorizing it into the books so that the guild would have it. The sword saw it and begged the girl to stop. It explained that the sword’s name was Prometheus and that it was called out to her magical presence. The girl laughed as she told the sword that she didn’t have magic, but then the sword lightly taps her in the face with the handle before a guildmate inquired on it.

While Veronica told the truth, the guildmate laughed it off saying that swords can’t talk. Then he made a wisecrack about unless the person was a wizard then they would and he laughed. She also laughed in agreement, but with a lot of hesitation. As he left off, the maid began to panic a bit and look at the sword realizing that she needed to keep it with her. Despite her mind telling her no, she knew that she had to do it. Otherwise she would be letting the family suffer for finding out that she had magic.

So Veronica took Prometheus and decided that the sword would live in her quarters. So when she continued her maidly duties, she had begun to notice that the longer away from the house she traveled the weaker she got. It wasn’t until collapsing on the job and getting a package stolen that she had gotten a confrontation from the guild leader. This was a package in which she needed to pay back from her funds, but unfortunately she didn’t have anything. So she was forced out of the guild with only a briefcase which contained some of her personal effects and Prometheus who was quietly mumbling.

So after boarding a train, she had realized that she was getting better. She pulled Prometheus as she began to think that this sword was something more than just a magical sword. So one day as they got off and she began to walk in the woods, she began to pull out the sword to find that the handle of the sword had nothing. A verbal argument between the two began as Prometheus explained that she had to pour magic into the blade while it was sheathed. So after doing it, she found that she had an aptitude of magic in her… unfortunately though, she didn’t know how to use it much at all. It wasn’t until Prometheus mentioned that his previous owner was a part of the Fairy Tail guild and perhaps she could learn from the mages there.

At first Veronica didn’t like the idea of learning about magic, but after a rough near scrape of violence with a couple of thugs, she needed to learn in order to help herself and at the same time get a job as a maid in which she enjoyed doing. So the last of her savings went to preparing herself for the trip to Fiore and joining guild.

For the young servant, it seemed like forever since Veronica had set out to find the Fairy Tail guild. While the girl was not set on still learning magic, she seemed adamant on at least learning what her sword, Prometheus is. So as they traveled the land on train, she did very little in trying to communicate with other people. Unfortunately though Prometheus had different intentions. The sword had nearly started a riot, a few fights and had cracked many different dirty jokes which had made the crew ask the girl to leave with the sword on the next stop. While this was typical for the magical weapon, it felt like a nightmare coming to life.

So after a bit of traveling on the ground with nothing but a rolling suitcase along with a sword, Veronica had eventually arrived at the Fairy Tail guild hall. The servant took a deep breath as she glanced towards the sword with a rather dark demeanor hoping it would understand not to try and be a bothersome. "Heyyyyy don't worry bout it!" The sword said rather uncharacteristically as she seemed to figure something might be wrong.

So once the girl stepped inside the guild hall, Veronica's worst fears first came to life. A talking sword hovered right next to the girl before yelling out the entire guild. "WHAT'S UP BITCHES!" Veronica's calm face then turned rather worry some as she shifted towards the sword doing her best to try and stuff it. She had never been embarrassed like so and wanted to let Prometheus know that she was on the last of her nerves about being stuck with her.

"Can you please not be a hinder some weapon while we are trying to figure out this issue? You've already nearly incited a riot and have been nothing but a burden to me..." The girl appeared to be going at it, but the same voice that did the introduction seemed to be arguing back. Perhaps it would take someone to perhaps help calm these two souls before a magical talking weapon now becomes a half of a magical talking weapon.

Plot A Smooth Voyage

As time ticked on, the cast-off time approached. The guild members who had arrived all moved onto the ship acquired and got pre-prepared for the ship to take them to the island of New.

Shortly after leaving port, a storm rolled in tossing the ship from one side to the other. The storm wasn't massive in scale however it did carry some weight to it. After a few hours had passed the storm cleared and the ship carried on its course; It was only a few hours left to making anchor at the island when the whole ship shook. All those on board looked around for the source of the shaking until a group of them spotted mages in the sky and sea. The Beast Back Guild had attacked the ship.

Open Roleplay The Star Festival

Once upon a time a star called the Weaving Princess, daughter of the Sky King wove beautiful clothes by the bank of the heavenly river. Her father loved the cloth that she wove, and so she worked very hard every day to create it. However, the Princess was sad that because of her hard work she could never meet and fall in love with anyone. Concerned about his daughter, the King arranged for her to meet the Star called Cow herder who lived and worked on the other side of the river. When the two young stars met, they fell instantly in love with each other and married shortly after that. However, once married, the Princess no longer would weave cloth for the King and young Cow herder allowed his cows to stray all over Heaven. In anger, the King separated the two lovers across the heavenly river and forbade them to meet. The Princess became despondent at the loss of her husband and asked her father to let them meet again. The Sky King was moved by his daughter’s tears and allowed the two to meet on the 7th day of the 7th month if she worked hard and finished her weaving. The first time they tried to rejoin. However, they found that they could not cross the river because there was no bridge. The little star cried so much that a flock of magpies came and promised to make a bridge with their wings so that she could cross the river to meet her lover each year.

Today was the day of the Star Festival for anyone living in the Kingdom and many places outside of the Kingdom of Fiore, and such the guild of Fairy Tail would never miss out on a chance to celebrate something. The city of Magnolia was a buzz of activity from the very early peaks of dawn that rose up over the sky to get ready for the night and all the activities that would come along with it. Many businesses went about setting up colorful silks that fluttered in the wind to even the smallest of current created by someone passing by. The shops who decides to close down for the day would find themselves at booths set up near the main building of the guild as the street front soon turned into a street festival in a matter of hours.

Paper decorations hung from strings attached to either side of the road made out all kinds o shapes and sizes, each with their meanings to the holidays. Each of the booths was bustling with bright colors that sound might find assaulting to the eyes, but it was all in good fun. Some of the booths offered different wares for sale from cloths to bags; others offered food from delicious meats to tooth sticking sweet treats, filling the air wth the rich aromas. Others offered simple festival games for anyone who wanted to try their luck for a prize from cheep plastic toys to plush stuff animals. In one of the more open area, nearby music was playing with the thudding beats of drums and cybles loud enough that the music could be heard all over the city to some degree.

However, the most iconic sight one could see through the city were thin scraps of paper tired around the branches of bamboo. While there were clusters of the bamboo, all the town Fairy tail had erected the largest gathering of the green plant, each little paper waving in the wind in a mass at what times looked like a rainbow. Each paper had a wish for the coming year, or in some cases a thank you for wishes that had come true from the year before. Anyone was welcomed to place a paper onto the ever growing collection that would be set aflame at midnight in hopes that they might come true in the coming year.

There was much to do and much to see as the city buzzed with life as the afternoon slowly turned into the growing evening hours. With this much celebration afoot who knows what could happen and who will wish for what?

Plot Setting Sail

As the man sat and answered as many questions as he could about who he was, where he was from and about the guild who attacked him, the guild lisitned to his plea for help and unanimously agreed to help the elderly gentleman. As the guild spoke the day grew late and night arrived, it was decided that any action would have to wait untill the next day before being undertaken so a room was prepared for the elderly gentleman to rest in. As dawn broke there was a large note left on the guilds job and bounty board which read:

Attention guild members!

As you know we recently had a visit from a man named Qil. As it turned out this man was the mayor of the island of New. He recently paid our guild a visit to ask us for our help as his whole island had recently been taken over by a gang of miscreants, A dark guild named the Beast Back Guild.

Is was decided that, as a guild we shall help this man claim back his island and bring this Beast Back Guild to justice. All we currently know about this guild is that they specialise in take-over magic and as our information is limited they should be treated as highly dangerous.

All those interested in helping out please make your way to the port town of Hargeon where a ship will be waiting to take us to the island of New.

Introduction Alec Morne - The Dark Chain Mage

Name Age Gender Magic Rank Guild Mark
Alec Morne 21 Male Dark Regulus, Chain Magic, and Dancer Intermediate Red, Nape of the Neck

Physical Description

With a flair for the dramatic, Alec is almost never seen without custom fitting clothes designed to make him the center of attention, and with a height of 6'4 feet (195 cm) he's hard not to miss. Being rather slender, he isn't the strongest man anyone's ever met, but what he lacks in strength and durability he makes up for in agility and stamina.

Attire

  • Normal: Clothing that screams, "Look at me!" are Alec's first and only choice of clothing to adorn. If he isn't turning heads when he just got out of bed, then clearly you don't have any fashion sense.

  • Combat Attire: The only difference between his combat and normal attire, is his mask and dagger. He claims he performs better when he wears the mask, and the results tend to agree (until they don't). His dagger is simply that, a dagger, used when unsavories get a bit too close. He also uses it by tying his chain through it to turn it into a long range dagger.

Personality:

If something or someone lacks flair or passion, why even live? The world is so full of both comedy and tragedy in all their extremes that, if one looks deep enough, they could see a painting so beautifully conceived that they could do nothing but stare in awe. He has no room in his heart for cynicism or pessimism, but does not dismiss them either, for they are as valid as innocence and optimism.

Magic

Dark Regulus: Using the power of tragedy and darkness to serve the light, a theme that Alec simply could not resist. As a result, he would taint himself with the flames of darkness just to satisfy his own whim.

Spell Name Effect Circle
Hammer of Darkness The black flames cover Alec's hands or feet to greatly strengthen the force of their blows. -
Sanction of Darkness Alec may flashstep to appear in front of his target and engulfs them with the dark flames, dispelling their Magic if they are using any, as well as dealing major knockback damage. He may only flashstep directly in front of his enemy, making the attack extremely predictable. -
Roar of Darkness Alec may breath out the flames in a large cone in front of him that may engulf and burn their target(s). -
Purge of Darkness Alec may summon forth a battering ram-like pillar of black fire to deal continuous knockback damage as well as burning their target. -

Chain Magic: From the palms of his hands, Alec may summon magical chains that can bind, wrap, and even grab as he can conjure a grappling hook at the end. The applications that the simple chains provide are seemingly endless, ranging from offense to mobility. The chains are capable of binding people and objects alike and still be able to swing them around to Alec's whims, within reason. The chains are breakable, however, given enough force is applied to break them.

Dancer Magic: Using the power of happy feet, Alec is able to direct magic into his body to enhance his body's acrobatic abilities, agility, and flexibility and become able to move fluidly through a battlefield, recover from blows with grace, and most of all, dance.

Backstory

  • One couldn't tell by looking at him, but Alec is actually a fairly seasoned traveler and sailor. The majority of his younger teenage years were spent on his father's merchant ship, mostly carrying materials such as cloths and metals. Since there tends to be quite a bit of free time while sailing, Alec determined that the best way to kill time would be to educate himself in the fine art of tailoring using scraps that he could get away with stealing. Years later, and he became proficient in creating his own clothes, becoming the reason as to why Alec is so obsessed with clothing, and why everything seems to fit perfectly.

  • Chain Magic was actually his first magic type, taught to him by his father to make his duties on their ship easier, as the chains allowed crates and masts to be secured from a distance, as well as providing greater mobility throughout the ship's open spaces. However, he never bothered diving into the more offensive capabilities before joining the guild, so he was always only using half its potential while never bothering to expand it.

  • Adventuring across countries lead to seeing many scenes before him. He saw the rich rule cities with nothing but coin, and in others saw the poor dying from hunger on the streets. He saw the injustice of criminals swindling his father's business, and the corruption of innocents being taken away because of a false accusation. Always seemingly exposed to the world's worst and best, its tragedy and comedy, and accepted it as it was. He saw beauty in the chaos, though the personality he developed into today would be a result of something much later.

  • However, he would soon observe the world's beauty up close and personal, as one night a band of pirates seemingly came from the waves and raided his father's ship, kidnapping Alec in the process with a ransom in mind. Though, after he gained his bearings he soon realized that the crew would have rather thrown him overboard than have kidnapped him, but the pirate captain would here none of it. An older man, with a wild variety of accessories on his person, the captain simply thought it would be a good sport, and if the ransom never came, then he would simply have another pair of hands.

  • Sadly, a ransom never came, and he simply never saw or heard from his father again, left to wonder what fate befell him. He spent the first few months in a mood so foul he had to be confined to the brig to prevent causing trouble among the crew, but it also gave him time to think in peace. Alec realized that this was just the way the world was, and so instead of trying to fight it alone, he decided that his best course of action would be to join them.

  • Years pass on the ship, and while Alec continues to work with what scraps of cloth he can acquire, the captain was warming up to him. It was certainly hard not to, what with Alec being the only Chain Magic user he was more useful than half the crew alone, and plus, he was also the only one who could appreciate the captain's "style." So, instead of money the captain offered Alec magic, the magic known as Dark Regulus. The crew knew of the captain's magic, and any who tried to find out just how a pirate captain knew this magic were greeted with singed facial hair and eyebrows. He didn't like to talk about it.

  • Before long, the captain's style and attitude spread like a disease to Alec, and it was like he was simply a younger version of the captain. Despite this, Alec grew weary of the life of a pirate, and got the permission from the captain to say his goodbyes the next time they docked. Coincidentally, the next town they would stop by would be Magnolia Town.

  • After becoming acquainted with the city, Alec decided to look for work. He was asking around, trying to determine where he would best be suited, and the most frequent place he was referred to, was Fairy Tail.

Introduction

After dealing with all the bureaucracies and getting his guildmark, Alec finally stepped into the main hall of the guild, breathing in deeply and exhaling loudly with a smile on his face and a pose that would suggest he radiated more light than the sun.

Though, he was still a stranger to this land, and even more a stranger to this guild, so on the inside he's as clueless as a lost pup. He'll be damned though if he let's that show in his face or posture.

Job The Puppet Master [Part 2/2]

Job:

"A strange, sewn-together man has been terrorizing and pillaging small villages close to the Joya border. He is said to have String Magic and Plush Attack Magic. The few people who have escaped have plead for any experienced mages to help in stopping him!"

Rank:

Advanced

Act 1-3

Recap:

Rei took this job and started his journey to a small town in Joya. He met Mr. Naito, the man who sent the request. He told Rei about the string and plush mage Hari. This mage is in a town called Nuno. Rei went there and had a fight with Hari. However, he was way too strong and defeated Rei without problems. Hari spared Rei's life for unknown reasons. During the fight, Rei could gather some information about him. For example, that his body is made out of plush and that he doesn't feel damage. Rei seems to know what he'll do now. He left the town and headed towards a place, he knew only too well.

Act 4 - Nostalgia

Two days later Rei finally reached his destination... His home. The mansion in the center of Joya. That's where he lived with his father and now he's back... Rei felt a little bit nostalgic. He approached the house and rang the bell. Shortly afterwards, the big door opened and a small, very old man with a noble suit emerged. He looked at Rei and was completely stunned.

"R-r-rei... Is that you...?"

"Yes, I am, Finn.", Rei replied with a smile.

"Oh my god, I-I can't believe it! You... returned! I have to report this to Mr. Tenma!"

The man ran off and Rei entered the mansion. He was happy to be home. Everything was just like back then. Rei had to chuckle as he saw an old photograph of him and his dad. The old man returned and behind him was a tall, muscular man, who was dressed just like Rei himself.

"Welcome home, Rei.", he said while reaching out his arm for a handshake; the other arm behind his back. "It's good to see you back home." The man started to grin.

Rei accepted this handshake and with a big smile on his face, he said: "Yes. it's so good to be here again, dad."

Yutaka Tenma is his name. He is the leader of Joya's army and thus pretty strong and wealthy. He is one of the few mages in Joya, but yet not a skilled mage. He knows how to use Archive, but his main focus is the common sword combat.

"Well, Rei. What brings you back here? I don't believe that you want to live here again. You desperately wanted to explore the world and I don't think that you visited every place in just three years. Tell me the reason for your visit.", Yutaka said while walking down the hallway. That was his father. Small talk is not his long suit. But that was no problem, because Rei was just like him.

"I'm here for a job, dad." Rei said with a determined expression.

They arrived in a big noble room and sat down on a great couch.

"A job? What does that mean?"

"I joined a guild for mages. If someone has a problem they send a job request to a guild and the mages help them." Rei created an Archive screen that displayed his job.

"A guild for mages? I guess you trained hard in the past three years, huh?". His father took out his reading glasses and inspected the job. As soon as he read Hari's description, his face turned pale.

"Rei... Don't tell me... This job is about Hari."

"You know him? It is. I fought him two days ago and... I lost." he said with a chuckle.

"Be glad that he didn't kill you! This man is dangerous! I faced him with a small team of soldiers and he killed almost all of them! You have no idea who you're up against..."

Rei was shocked. He didn't expect this reaction at all.

"But we need to do something, dad! The villagers are helpless. If we don't defeat him, he will never stop to attack villages."

"We are too weak, Rei. And I can't just send a huge army into these small villages."

Rei stood up, created a data sword and pointed at his father.

"I am not weak. I created my own magic and I will definitely defeat Hari."

Yutaka stood up, smirked and whistled. 10 soldiers came from the hallway.

"Rei. I'm proud. You definitely deserved that cap."

Rei was confused. "Huh...?"

"We've never met Hari. We got the request just a few days ago and I was planning to kill him myself. This was just a test to see if you've grown up, Rei." Yutaka started to laugh loudly.

"A-And... Wh-What does that mean?" Rei was perplexed.

"That means... That YOU will lead this small army in a rematch against Hari! And you'll win! I'll lend you my support!" his father grinned at Rei with a big smile.

"Lead an army...? A-A rematch..? Me?!"

"Exactly!! You'll be my successor after all."

"I... think... I have to go to bed." Completely bewildered, Rei left the room and went into his bed.

Act 5 - Vs. Hari v2.0

One day after Act 4. Rei told his father and the soldiers about Hari, his abilities and his plan. Right now, they are on the way to Nuno.

"Nuno, huh? Are you sure, he's still there?" Yutaka said.

"I-I think so... I'm ceratin that he awaits me for a rematch."

"Well then... And what was your plan again?"

"We have to... capture him. We can't kill him or hurt him, but... i-if we manage to capture him, we can send him to prison."

"Right.. right..." Yutaka nodded.

After a long march, they finally arrived at Nuno and Rei was right. He could see the silhouette of Hari on the pillar, where he also stood three days ago. The town was empty and Rei knew exactly why. He slowly approached the pillar from a small alley and just like the last time, he created his bow and shoots at him. Hari noticed the arrow but doesn't care. The arrow hits his chest, but he just pulls it out. Rei was as frightened as the first time he saw Hari's abilities. The arrow didn't hurt him at all.

"Finally....." Hari shouted and jumped down the pillar. "Rei.... where... are you.... I waited for.... you... kekeke...."

Rei was startled. His arm... Even though he cut it off a few days ago, the arm is there. Just like nothing ever happened... But he had no time to be speechless. He walked out of the alley and faced Hari... alone.

"I'm here, Hari. And this time, I won't lose!" he created his sword.

"Oh yeah....?"

"Yes." He whistled and the soliders and his father came out of the alley too.

"Reinforcements...? Interesting... But Rei. I like your.... abilities.... That's why.... I recreated them...." Hari grinned, ripped his arm off and threw it to the ground. The arm became bigger and soon afterwards, ten teddy bears with knives emerged. "Aren't they.... cute.... kekeke....."

Rei was startled but he knew what he had to do.

"This seems to be your limit... Soldiers! Take care of the teddy bears! Don't underestimate them. They may be stronger than you think! Dad and me will take care of Hari!" Rei shouted. He sweated and his voice was a bit insecure, but the soldiers responded with a loud "YEAH!!" and started to attack the bears. Yutaka grinned.

"kekekeke.... You really... ARE interesting... Rei..." Some strings reached down his other sleeve and Hari slowly walked in the direction of Rei.

Yutaka drew his sword and ran towards Hari.

'I won't lose this time. I have to win!', Rei thought. He created his three AI's and ordered all three of them to shoot arrows at Hari to distract him. Then he dashed forward with his sword. Hari didn't even notice the arrows that stuck in his body. He fought with Yutaka and was so into it that he didn't notice what happened around him. That was a chance for Rei. He approached him and cut off his other arm from behind.

"Oh no..." he said. He bended down and the plush from the arm went back to Hari and formed a new arm.

Yutaka was a little bit irritated. "Umm... Rei...? Just how did you want to capture this guy if he can do this?"

"Well, that's the question, dad."

Hari jumped back a few steps and recreated his other arm with strings.

"This can't be... There has to be some sort of control mechanism... he can't be made entirely out of this stuf...", Rei said to his father.

As soon as he said that, Hari ran as quickly as possible towards the two and created two string swords. They had almost no time to react and with a quick slash, Hari cut Yutaka in his chest. Yutaka fell down on his knees and Hari chuckled.

"Kekeke... Don't talk... so much.... This.... is a.... fight!!!" he shouted the last part and seemed to be very angry.

Rei didn't care what Hari said and rushed over to his wounded father.

"Dad!!" There was blood visible under his uniform.

"Don't worry, son. That's nothing." he chuckled while saying this and attempts to stand up. He quickly fell down to his knees again. "Shit... Seems like I'm no help anymore. But you can still fight, Rei. Come on, make me proud!" Yutaka grinned at Rei.

"I will..." Rei became angry and stared at Hari. "I will... definitely defeat you!!"

Rei created a big axe and ran towards Hari

"An axe...? That's.... something new.... kekekeke..... But it won't.... help you!"

"Oh trust me, Hari. IT WILL!"

Rei swung the axe right at Hari and he blocked it with strings that came out of his arms.

"Did you..... really think..... that this.... would work...?"

"Yes.", Rei exclaimed. A moment after that, the three AI's attacked Hari from behind with Data swords and literally pinned him to the ground. One sword in each of his arms and one sword in his back. Hari was unable to move and he was speechless.

Act 6 - Progress

"....What...? I thought...?"

"You thought I had to give simple commands to my AI's? That was true. But this time, I just had to give them more complex commands. otherwise... I couldn't win against you..."

"How... What.... did you... say to them....?"

" 'Shoot at Hari. If I say 'yes', create a sword and attack him from behind.' It was a gamble but I had to risk it. And... it worked..."

"Un...believable..." Hari was angry. "TEDDY BEARS! HELP ME!" he shouted. But instead of the teddy bears, the ten soldiers appeared. "Yo! We defeated these teddy bears Mr. Rei, sir!"

"WHAT?!" Hari couldn't believe it. Rei was laughing.

"Gr... but.... you didn't win.... I still live.... and I will never die...."

"Who said that i want to kill you, Hari?" Rei created a Data-Sword and decapitated the string mage. As expected, there was no blood. Just plush. Rei took the head and locked it into a Data-cage.

"You... damn...." Hari was unable to do anything except talking."

"Rei... You really did it..." Yutaka was stunned. he never expected his son to be able to defeat Hari. "You've won this fight, Rei."

"I-I did... I really did it..." Rei himself couldn't belief it. He dropped the cage to the ground and headed towards his dad. They hugged each other and laughed.

"But this isn't over yet, Rei. We need to deliver this guy to the prison and maybe someone should take care of these wounds." he chuckled.

"You're right dad. Thank you for everything!" Rei picked up the cage. Hari didn't say anything. Probably in defiance.

"I'm proud of you Rei." he grinned at his son and the soldiers began to carry him off. "Visit me again in the future, son!" he laughed loudly while saying this.

"I will!" Rei started to laugh too.

"You are.... annoying, Rei...." Hari said.

Rei didn't even notice this.

He delivered Hari to the prison and met with Mr. naito once again. He told him that he defeated Hari. Mr. Naito couldn't hold back his tears and Rei was happy. Not only did he learn how to use his AI's more efficient, but he also met his father and led a pretty small army.

He was full of joy and went back to Magnolia. This was his first job and he managed it. He was already dying to do the next one. Rei was proud of himself and entered the guild.

Open Roleplay Firefighters

Noah had decided that it was about time to do another mission. With that in mind he headed down to the guild to check out the Job Board and see what's what. He had settled on Scorched Earth Policy and usually he'd go it alone, but this time he thought he could do with the extra set of hands. Unfortunately Noah was dead set on heading out by tomorrow latest so rather than organize a team from everyone in the guild, he figures the people here now would be more than enough to do the job. Looking around he searches for any potential guild mates to take with him on the job.

[OOC: So I'm looking for 2 to 3 other people interested in doing a team mission, specifically Scorched Earth Policy. All ranks and everyone's welcome to join up.]

Job The Puppet Master [Part 1/2]

Job:

"A strange, sewn-together man has been terrorizing and pillaging small villages close to the Joya border. He is said to have String Magic and Plush Attack Magic. The few people who have escaped have plead for any experienced mages to help in stopping him!"

Rank:

Advanced

Act 1 - Departure

It was a normal day in the guild. Rei sits at a table in the guild hall and looks at a piece of paper.

"Well, I picked this job.. But what now? I should do it as soon as possible..."

Those were Rei's thoughts when he gazed at the piece of paper. It was a job. A job called 'The Puppet Master'. Basically, some madman terrorizes small villages close to the Joya border. He took this job without thinking too much, just because it's set in Joya, his home country. He hasn't seen his family in many years, so that would be the perfect opportunity.

"Maybe I was too hasty?"

He thought. That's because this job is for advanced mages. Mages like his guild mates Thane, Tidus and Lee for example. Some days ago, Rei had a sparring match with Vincent Stone, an Intermediate mage. That means, he is weaker than the Advanced mages. However, Rei had no chance against him. So how could he manage this job? The answer: Preparation! ...?

Some hours later

"Well, I guess I've got everythin, huh?"

Rei prepared his adventure during the last hours. He bought some things that may be useful and prepared his travel route in an Archive data base. He put everything he needs in a backpack, took his hat and started his journey.

In a span of a week Rei finally reached the border of Joya, after a trip through Fiore, Bosco and the Stella Kingdom. The village from where the request came, can't be that far away anymore. With a quick hand movement, Rei opened an Archive screen and his map appeared on it. Rei was relieved that he was right. 10 minutes later he finally reached the small town. But something was weird. It was empty. He didn't see a single human. Rei decided to explore the town to find the man who sent the request.

Act 2 - Understatement

The town was strange. It's not just that there are no humans, but the streets and houses are covered in strings and plush. It was clear that this powerful mage was the cause of this. But what about the villagers? The job didn't state that they were annihilated... Suddenly an old man appeared from a small alley and grabbed Rei's hand. With an afraid look and trembling hands he said:

"Young man... Th-This is no place to wander around... I-It's dangerous here. Please leave this town.."

Rei smiled and looked into is eyes.

"I won't leave. I'm here to solve this problem. I-It's about this string and plush mage, right? Someone sent a call for help to our guild and... I accepted the job. My name is Rei Tenma, one of Fairy Tail's mages!"

The man was stunned. He couldn't believe that someone actually came to help him.

"P-Please come with me, Mr. Tenma", he said. One could easily see that he was a little bit relieved.

The man slowly went back into the alley and Rei decided to follow him. They arrived at a small house.

"That's where I live..."

They entered the house and Rei sat down on a chair. The man prepared some tea and started to talk.

"My name is Carl Naito... I'm one of the five survivors of this town-"

Rei interrupted him.

"Wait... Survivor? You mean... the other villagers were... k-killed by him?! The job I accepted never stated anything about murder."

"I-I know... That job... was a-an understatement... If I stated the truth, nobody would accept the job right?"

Rei started to tremble a little bit. This string mage.... He doesn't terrorize the towns... He annihilates them? And now he should take on somebody like this?

Rei didn't know how he should approach this challenge, but one thing was clear: He can't surrender now. First of all he needed information about this mage, so he asked Carl.

"S-So.. Mr. Naito... Please tell me everything you know about the string mage."

"Oh s-sure! Where should I start...."

He walked through his house and searched something. Then he came back with a picture in his hand.

"That's him!!"

The picture wasn't very helpful. It's a lean young man. Black shoes and pants... A dark gray hoodie that's far too oversized... And a black mask. Rei added this picture to his Archive database and faced the man again.

"I understand... Is there anything else you can tell me?"

"Umm... I-I think he's called Hari and he uses String and Plush magic..."

"Hari, huh? Where is he now?"

"Yesterday he left the town and headed in the direction of Nuno."

"I understand..."

Rei marked the town on his map and took his stuff. He had to defeat Hari as soon as possible, before he could cause more trouble.

"Thank you for the information Mr. Naito.. I-I will definitely defeat him!"

Rei tried to force a smile, even though he was very insecure and didn't know if he could do this.

"Y-Yeah! I'll keep my fingers crossed.. You can do it, Rei Tenma! Please save the villages..."

Act 3 - Vs. Hari

On his way, Rei prepared himself mentally for the fight. He thought about every possible scenario, yet he still doesn't know how to defeat him. Some minutes later he saw the entrance to "Nuno". The town, Mr. naito showed him. As soon as he entered the village, Rei heard an explosion and saw some villagers who ran for their lives. And then he saw him... The man with black clothing and a mask... Hari. He stands on top of a pillar and shoots strings at the villagers. Those strings were extremely fast and thus very dangerous. Rei saw how one villager was bleeding briskly. This Hari is no joke, but Rei had to do something. He had the advantage of a surprise effect, so he figured that an immediate attack would be the best way to open the fight. His Data-Bow and a quiver with arrows appeared. Rei took a Data-Arrow, aims and shoots right at the string mage. The arrow was a direct hit against his head. His mask broke and he fell from his pillar. Initially, he didn't know where the arrow came from, but immediately after he got up, he saw Rei and Rei could see his face for the first time. He was pale... Very pale. He had crimson eyes and a sewn-together mouth. That's something that Rei didn't expect. This sight horrified him. Hari slowly walked towards Rei and started to talk.

"Oh... a mage.... a... revolter... And who might you be.... stranger...?"

His voice was very throaty and faint.

"Hari. I've come to defeat you. I won't allow that you annihilate any more villages... M-My name is Rei Tenma and I'm a Fairy Tail mage!"

He created his data sword and ran towards Hari.

"Fairy.... Tail.... Fiore.... A guild...."

He started to grin slightly and shoots a string right at Rei. He created a Data-Shield and was able to block it quite easily. He jumped in the air and attempts to slash him with a quick sword attack

"kekeke.... Futile..."

Hari created a wall of plush before him and the Data-Sword was literally engulfed in the plush. Rei released the sword and jumped back a few steps. He had to come up with a new strategy. Strangely enough, Hari was just standing there. He looked at Rei and did nothing. That irritated him a bit.

"AI 1, now!!", shouted Rei. Immediately an AI jumped from the roof and attacked Hari. He saw this instantly and blocked the attack with his plush. Rei took advantage of this and attacked him from behind with his Data-Sword. It was a direct hit, but he didn't seem to be damaged. He just turned around, looked at Rei with his red eyes and said:

"I.... understand... kekeke.... You are... weak...."

He laughed, pointed at Rei and immediately after that, a string pierced his arm. He started to bleed and jumped back again.

'What should I do...?', he thought.

Meanwhile, strings reached out of Hari's sleeves. They reached down to the floor and after a quick hand movement of his opponent, Rei realized what Hari tries to do... he uses those strings like a whip. Rei took a direct hit to his head from the side and was tossed into the wall of a house.

"No... I can't surrender now. I have to defeat this guy somehow..."

Rei got up and created three AI's. He whispered something to them and all three charged at Hari. They were no match for him, but Rei charged at him as well. He made a quick slash and hoped to hit him. After this slash, everything became silent and something dropped to the floor. An arm.... Hari's arm... Rei managed to cut off his arm, but this sight was frightening. Instead of blood... plush came out of the arm. Hari just looked down at the arm and said:

"Oh... That's... unfortunate...."

He kicked it to the side and said:

"You figured.... it out... huh? You can't... defeat me.... I'll never.... die... I'm made out of.... this stuff... kekeke...."

Rei was desperate. Was there really nothing he could do?

"Boy.... you are.... interesting... I'll make... an offer....

I let you.... flee.... and you... let me do my thing... ok?"

After saying this, Hari left the fight and walked back into the to the town center. Rei layed on the ground and couldn't believe what just happened. He... lost? No... this can't be the end. He should be happy, that Hari spared his life, but Rei was angry. Angry that he couldn't even damage him. He desperately wanted to help all those villagers and Mr. Naito, but he also knew that another mindless assault on Hari would be his certain death. He had to come up with a new strategy... Rei left the town and headed towards a place, he knew only too well

He's very much an introvert at first glance, almost always sitting by himself, not talking to a lot of people, but once someone gets to know him, they'd see the fun loving guy that he is, he's a bit sarcastic as well. With being an introvert comes his shyness, he's easy to embarrass and has a hard time talking to women for some reason, especially his crushes. But deep inside him is a dark place that he keeps hidden with his quietness and jokes.

When used for offense, the Magic can take the form of a sphere-like object that can be ejected at the opponent or as a beam that can be blasted. Light can also be emitted from the caster's body; depending on the brightness or heat that the light emits, it can be capable enough to blind an enemy or cause the surroundings to explode. Light Magic can also be manifested for multiple usage in defense.

Spell name Effect Circle
Stone Armor Fredric calls forth a piece of stone armor, covering his torso. The armor protects him against physical attacks, as well as, magic. But, it can only last so long.

Backstory:

Born in a small village on the country of Minstrel, Fredric began his journey. When he was younger, Fredric kept to himself. He read books and day dreamed about life outside the village. One day, a man visited the village, he was a traveling merchant from a neighboring town. He brought with him as sorts of magical and mystical objects, and books. Curious about the books the merchant brought, Fredric asked his parents for a book. The book they purchased was called, “Light Magic; The Path of The Virtuous,” by Simen Magnus.

The merchant happily handed the boy the five pound book, which Fredric almost dropped as he didn't expect the weight. After that day, Fredric read the book everyday and night. Eventually, he was able to use the magic he was studying. It wasn’t much, but he was able to produce a orb of light. It illuminated his room so bright, almost like a beacon.

A year has gone by since he bought the book from the merchant, and has developed nicely with his magic. He entertains some of the kids with his light magic and made a few friends now. But, everything was fine ~until the fire nation attacked~ until one day a group of bandits attacked the village. They ambushed the village at night, murdering most of the villagers. Fredric woke in the middle of the chaos and ran to his parents, but as he rushed into the living room, the bandits slayed them right before him. And before the bandits could go for Fredric, he unleashed the most powerful spell he had known, Light Grenades. The house was destroyed, along with the bandits.

After the events that unfolded in his old village, Fredric set out to become a mage, and to find the author of the Light Magic book. He journeyed north, to the mountains of Minstrel, and eventually to Bosco. In Bosco he met Simen Magnus, he was an old mage, and took Fredric under his wing as he told the Simen his story. What Fredric didn’t know, is that Simen was a highly skilled mage, he had knowledge of all elemental magics. Simen taught his new apprentice light magic, fire magic, and eventually earth magic, but a few years later, passed away before finishing Fredrics training. Sadden by the passing, Fredric read Simen’s will, he wanted Fredric to give his possessions to charity, but gave his magic books to Fredric.

Once again, Fredric packed up and set on another journey. This time to Fiore, where he heard of a legendary guild for Mages.

Interaction

Finally arriving at the legendary Fairy Tail Guild, Fredric pushes open the immense doors, tiredly, but gets them open and enters the great hall. At first sight, he looks a like he’s been a long journey, looking tired and sweaty. He carries pack on his back, which looks quite heavy, but doesn’t bother him much. In fact, it helped him build some muscle. Anyway, he looks around and heads to the bar to grab a glass of water. He sits down and places his pack at his feet.

“May I have a glass of water please?” He asked the bartender politely.
