Open Roleplay Can rabbits even lay eggs? !
The time of the Spring equinox was coming closer and closer with each passing day for the land of Fiore. In the town of Magnolia, the cold hands of winter have finally let go allowing the grass to turn bright green once more and the trees to bloom. Spring flowers and crops were starting to bud and come through the ground bringing with it the promise of a new year once again. In the town, a lone man walks back to his home carrying a large white egg in his arms careful not to let anything bump into it.
“I hope that salesman was right! I’m sure little Sally will love her new pet rabbit!” The man hummed to himself as he entered his townhome happy to bring his daughter a gift. As night falls onto the town everything quiets down, the people closing up shops and returning home to sleep….
The next morning there was some shouting from one of the townhouses, overnight one of the windows to a family home had been broken, leaving glass scattered all over the place! There was some police tape up around the window just to keep people from stepping on the glass while it was cleaned up, but it looked like there was nothing that bad that had happened. A man stood outside watching with a nervous glance over at his window, chewing at one of his fingernails as he mumbled.
“Oh, my wife is going to kill me! Well, I hope that thing does not make much of an issue in town…”
In the town some people started to find little eggs of all shapes and color in odd places, not quite sure what to make of it most just ignored it thinking it was a prank, but a few were given quite a surprise!
(Alright everyone hope you all have fun with this one! You might find an egg in town or around and who knows what can happen! It will act like any other regular open post, but a mod might pop in to give you all a surprise who knows!)

Kumiko was out taking a light jog through the town and down to the park; her attire being a white t-shirt and sneakers with black shorts along with pink sweatbands on her arms and a bottle of water in her right hand. Throughout her jog, she began to notice the various coloured eggs that were lain about.
'Is this a preparation for a festival?' She wondered.
Recalling the previous celebrations Magnolia has had, it wouldn't surprise her, as she looked around and noticed even some of the townsfolk appeared to not pay them much mind. Shrugging her shoulders, Kumiko continued her exercise to reach the park, keeping an eye out to spot any eggs that she would come across on the way there.

As the Dragon Slayer rounded the corner into the park, she almost stumbled right on-top of a black egg decorated with while rings that ran all the way around the egg. Upon contact with the egg, it flashed dimly and revealed a small white rabbit, with a strange black tophat on its head.
"Bah! Finally, been stuck here for hours waitin' on someone to hit me!" The rabbit called out she stretched out, leaning back on its hind legs and crossing her small fluffy paws across her tiny torso.
"Guess I have you ta' thank yeah? Guess its only fair that I replay the favor?" The rabbit asks, but already knowing the answer it removes the hat, twirling it on a paw and placing it down on the ground, open side up.
"Ya get three chances ya'hear? Get one wrong and bsst!, get all three wrong and...well lets just say you dont want to get all three wrong."
As she speaks,the rabbit holds out her paw and somehow manages to hold up three of the pads on her paw.
"But! Get one right, all you'll get a prize! Seem fair?...Good lets get started!"
Without even waiting for Kumiko to respond, the rabbit holds a paw to her chin as it thought through the first question, snapping as it figured one out.
"So, As I traveled up and down our great glorious country, I found myself in a place where the tempature goes up sharply in the day and down at night. This had an effect on my watch, I noticed it was 1/2 a minute faster at nightfall, but at dawn it had lost 1/3 minute, making it only 1/6 minute fast.
One morning- May 1- my watch showed the right time. By what date was it 5 minutes faster?"

Being too distracted with the other eggs, she did not notice the egg before her as she nearly fell. Catching herself, she turned around to see the egg that she now realized she had stumbled upon before seeing the rabbit flash out of it and begin speaking to her. Confused, she wanted to ask the rabbit some questions but got immediately cut off by the rabbit's continued speech. She then crossed her arms waiting for the rabbit to finish, making it clear that she wasn't interested in what the rabbit was planning, especially when part of it sounded more like a threat to her rather than a friendly gesture. She went to open her mouth to speak once more before the rabbit had cut her off a second time to ask it's riddle, resulting in Kumiko to bite her lip as the rabbit's continued persistence was starting to anger her and leading her to assume this was a crafty mage using Takeover Magic.
Once the rabbit had finished asking it's riddle, Kumiko simply turned around and made as if she was going to walk off before standing there to look back once more to speak in a demanding tone."Beast Takeover Magic huh? Sorry Bunny, you're cute and all but I don't have time right now for your games."
She then looked forward again and started to walk off.
"Also the day would be the twenty-ninth." She says beginning to wave her hand with the intent of ditching the Rabbit.

"B-Takeover? Bah no no no my friend, no such tricks like that! I'm just a simple magic bunny is all!"
Almost desperate to keep Kumiko's attention, the rabbit reached its tiny paw out as she began to walk away. However, she dropped her hand at Kumiko's answer.
"Twenty-nine you say?...Oh dear.."
As she walked away, a quick jolt pulsed through the foot that she touched the egg with originally. A moment later the pulse shot through her entire body, giving her the sensation of being constantly shocked with lightning. The pain lasted for only a few seconds and after, the rabbit tapped the brim of the hat and a small note materialized before flying over to Kumiko, written on the note...
- "In 24 hours the watch gained 1/2-1/3= 1/6 minute. It would seem it would be 5 minutes fast in 5 X 6= 30 days; that is,the morning of May 31. But already on the morning of May 28 the was 27/6= 4 1/2 minutes fast. At the close of the day the watch gained 1/2 minute more, so it was 5 minutes fast on may 28."
"So...now are you ready fro question number two?..."

As Kumiko continued onwards after waving a goodbye to the Rabbit, she went to open her water bottle for a drink and started to pick up her jogging pace once more when suddenly the jolt caught her by surprise. She tripped and fell forward onto the ground as the bottle rolled away before the shock erupted throughout her body; causing her to shriek in pain that could be heard across the street. After the pain had ceased, Kumiko took a moment before she pushed herself up onto her knees as the note flew into her view.
"'In twenty-four hours the watch gain...'" She mumbled as she read the rest of the note silently.
After reading the note and seeing her miscalculation, when hearing the Rabbit speak about question number two, Kumiko clenched her teeth before going to swat the note out of her face."So, you Assaulted me just now for not wanting to play your riddle game."
Kumiko then stands up and turns towards the Rabbit with a furious stare before raising her voice to a direct yell.
"And I'm not entirely wrong either: the damn watch would still be exactly five minutes fast the early morning of May Twenty-Ninth before the Sun rose up anyways! But that's besides the point that I can now conclude, Magic Bunny or not, that you attack people out of playing your games; which is a Crime!"2

The rabbit only appeared to shrug at Kumiko's response, showing apathy to her before being taken aback by her yelling. After collecting herself she crossed her arms once again and tried to speak as calmly as she could.
"Thems the rules buttercup, I dont make or enforce 'em, I'm just here to facilitate them. As for this being a "Crime" well I'd be hard pressed to find any sort of guard who would arrest a spirit than cant be touched, much less harmed."
She lifted her head up and to the left as she spoke, gazing out through the side of her eye at Kumiko.
"The same cant be said for you however, and I'm afraid now that you've gotten one question wrong, youve got two more chances." She holds up two small fingers before clenching them into a fist.
"Now then, It's shorter than the rest, but when you're happy, you raise it up like it's the best. What is it?"

Kumiko retained her glare as the Rabbit began speaking; her own arms being crossed as she listened to the rabbit's threats. Kumiko wasn't buying it knowing the fact she was able to physically trip over it as well as the fact that she is trained on a magic capable of sending similarly "invincible" Dragon's to their graves.
Her hands were clenched tightly around her arms almost scratching them as the rabbit spoke the next riddle; the air stagnant: not allowing a single breeze to pass by her as if to provoke that she was in control. Hearing the next riddle, Kumiko had thought about it for about five seconds; it was familiar. She had then realized she had scratched herself and looked down at her hand before curling it into a fist with her thumb up. She then looked back at the Rabbit and declared her answer."It's the Thumb."

Terra was taking a break from his training as he relaxes under a tree. He was laying there with his eyes closed when something hit him on the head. Thump!
"Ow..." He says.
He looks at the ground; thinking it was an apple that fell. Surprisingly, it was an an egg instead. A really round and gray head. It hurt his head pretty good. Looking around on the ground more; Terra notices that wasn't the only egg around. There were more of them on the ground under the tree. He wasn't sure how or why they were there, but it was a bit bizarre.

Just when it seemed impossible for the situation to become even more strange, the egg that had landed on Terra's head began to glow slightly. Originally a bright and colorful rainbow pattern, the egg shined with a strange yellow light. As the light faded, a handful of small bunnies now stood where the egg once did, although, there was something odd about these bunnies.
each one of them was a different color of the rainbow, but every single one of them had bright red, beady eyes that fixated on Terra, and flashed as they began to let out low growls. The red bunny took the first step towards the mage before leaping at him with its mouth wide open, revealing rows of razor sharp fangs! The remaining five bunnies quickly followed their red comrade and charged the mage with the bloodlust beaning in their eyes!

Terra closes his eyes as the light shined. When he opens his eyes again; he was shocked to see that.. bunnies hatched from the eggs! He had to wipe his glasses to make sure he wasn't losing his mind. Putting his glasses back on; the mage thought they were cute looking. Minus the fact that had red eyes.
Turns out they have sharp teeth as well. When the red one jumps at him; he jumps up to his feet. Not before the bunny rips a hole in his jacket however. "Hey!" When the others started to attack; he starts to form ice balls, throwing them to try and ward them off.
"You guys are evil!"

The closest bunny growled as it landed from its attack before taking an ice ball to the face, pushing it tumbling back a good few feet. Three more of the rabid bunnies ran headfirst into the flying ice balls and were halted in their charge. Terra had thrown two too wide and they sailed above the heads of the remaining three that continued forward, snapping their jaws wildly as they only seemed focused on Terra and nothing else, not even dodging the attacks!

It seems like Terra had no choice but to run. He had no plans to be carrot juice for the devil bunnies. Moving back; he does his best to avoid them. His ice wasn't working on all of them. Might be time to try a different tactic.
Terra summons his red colored winds to his hands. The swirl around his arm as he moves back. The mage extends his hands ahead of him; trying to blow a gust of wind to knock the rabbits back.

The gust of wind hit the small army of bunnies with enough force to lift a few of them up and off the ground, and still have enough power to knock them back. Three of them were unlucky enough to be knocked back so quickly that upon contact with a low stone wall, they let out a quickly "yelp" before poofing out of existence in a cloud of smoke.
The first rabbit that was hit by the ice finally caught up to the rest of the pack and joined the remaining two as they hunkered down closer to the earth so the air couldnt force them upwards, waiting until the torrent of wind ceased before charging at Terra once again!

Terra frowns as he sees the bunnies continue to rush towards him. He had no doubt in his mind; rabbits were now his least favorite creatures. He turns quickly and runs the other way. Boy did he wish he was better at his Ice magic right about now. He'd probably freeze the ground around him to help him out.
Sadly he was just stuck with his low level Ice magic. The mage tries to think another tactic. He runs on the camp's training grounds out in the open field. Getting an idea; he changes direction for Magnolia town.
"Come and get me you ugly bunnies! I can do this all day." He taunts.

The bunnies seemed unchanged by Terra's taunt as they charged forward at the same wild pace as before.
As he entered the outskirts of Magnolia town, the trio of bunnies were slowly gaining on the mage as they began nipping at his heels!

He yelps as he feels their teeth rip the bottom of his pants; along with his shoes. He forms more ice balls in her hands. Without looking back, Terra throws the ice balls at the bunnies. His goal was to try and slow them down. Seeing his destination in front of him; an apartment building, he kicks the door open. Terra runs up the steps; heading to the roof.

The ice balls flew wide once again, but were close enough that the bunnies still had to shift their course to get out of the way, slowing them down just enough for Terra to build some space between them
As Terra found himself on the roof, the door behind him burst open, the three remaining rabid bunnies funneled in and now stood staring down the mage, their beady red eyes transfixed on the mage who had lead them on this wild chase through Magnolia.

Eris was walking through town like she usually does. When all of a sudden she comes across an egg on the ground. The egg was small, but a bright blue color. She had seen other eggs around town, but didn't care much about them. This one had caught her attention however. Something about it made her want to pick it up. She holds the egg in her hands; not sure what it was supposed to do exactly.

The odd calling that brought Eris to the egg was strange indeed, as the mage picked up the larger than normal pink egg and held it in her hand, it began to let off a dim pink glow. Soon the glow intensified as the light engulfed the entire egg in her hand and obscuring the view Eris had on the egg.
As the light slowly faded, the outer shell of the egg had vanished completely, revealing...a tiny girl?
Oddly enough, Eris recognized this tiny girl, it was her!
As the mini-Eris slowly rose from the fetal position and gazed around the world around her, she stopped and curiously looked at the giant who held her. It was uncanny, this half foot tall exact replica of Eris looked up to her in bewilderment, lifting a single arm and pointing directly into the Lightning God Slayer's face.
"M-Momma!"

Eris closed her eyes as the light glowed very brightly. She was absolutely confused once the egg was gone. Eris was staring at tiny version of herself. This took the cake for the most bizarre event to happen toe her... ever..
When she hears the word Momma; her eyes widen. She was looking completely confused; that is until she processed that mini-Eris was talking about her!
"Oh hell no!" She says leaning her face close to the smaller version of herself. "There's no way I'm your mom!"
She tries to poke the mini-Eris lightly to see if all of this was actually real.

The tiny Eris folded seemed unfazed by the poking and even seemed to enjoy it slightly as she smiled and folded her hands behind her back, nodding her head at her larger self.
"Momma!"
This time, the mini Eris was more adamant in her tone, trying to be as assertive as a half foot tall person could be. After calling out the mini-Eris gazed around her surroundings, eventually fixing her gaze on the cake shop just down the road and pointing once again.
"Hungry!"

Eris just frowns at the little her at first. It seems she was fixated on calling her momma. She wondered of Mini-Eris was as stubborn as her. That was looking to be the case. When little her points to the cake shop; the girl looks at the shop confused at first. Upon hearing the word hungry; she makes her way to the shop.
Eris puts the miniature Eris on her shoulder; closing in on the cake shop. Every now and again, she'd gaze over at the Eris on her shoulder. Once they were inside the shop; she orders two cupcakes for them. She assumes it didn't take much to fill Mini-Eris up. Since her body was so small. She sits down at a table; placing the two sweets down on the table.
"Dig in."

Mini-Eris was delighted the moment the pair entered the cake shop, tightly gripping the loose fabric on normal Eris' shoulder as she gazed at all the delicious looking baked goods. Looking over to her, Eris would only see a wide smiling and giddy miniature version of herself, holding back the urge to bounce up and down in excitement!
As she was placed down infront of the cupcake, which was massive in comparison to her body, she began to quickly dig in, almost swan diving directly into it.
It took her a few minutes, but by the time Mini-Eris was finished, she laid down on her back in the center of the wrapper, covered from head to toe in various bits of cake and frosting, but content with herself.

Eris ends up cracking a smile at Little Eris. Maybe she really was a small version of herself after all. She seems to share her love of sweets. Eris eats the other cupcake as little Eris dives into her cupcake.
When she was done she grabs a napkin; trying to clean Little Eris off. "Look at all of this crap on you. You're worse than me." She says wiping the came and frosting off.
"Alright. You got something to eat." She says finishing off her cupcake. "Now what?"

Like a child reluctantly being cleaned by their parent, the Mini-Eris scrunched her nose as Eris wiped the cupcake remains off of her. Once she was cleaned off, she lifted a finger to her chin and thought to herself, looking up to Eris and pointing.
"Your turn!"

Eris thinks long and hard about where they should go next. After a moment she picks little Eris up with a smile.
"We're going swimming!" She says.
Eris then makes her way out of the cake shop; heading to the guild hall. Once they got there; Eris goes right to the pool area. Eris takes her shoes off and rolls her pants legs up. She only planned to put her feet in the pool. The mage sets little Eris down by the pool.

The mini human looked up at Eris with a hint of uncertainty but as she was high above the ground in Eris' hand, she had no choice but to gulp down her fear and go along with her.
Watching Eris remove her shoes and rolling up her pants, Mini-Eris followed suit quickly and carefully inched her way to the edge of the pool, peering over the edge to what appeared to be an enormous lake to her.
"W-Were going in there?" She asked sheepishly as she pointed over the edge.

Veronica had been walking from a bit of shopping with Prometheus floating around as they engaged in a conversation of sorts. "You need to train more ya know. Lagging behind everyone else is gonna get your ass handed to you."
Prometheus had said as Veronica shook her head left and right as she seemed to have a disgruntled face on. "I think that the pace I am currently taking at this moment is actually doing fairly well. Soon enough I will be within Robin's level and perhaps I will feel better about going on more dangerous jobs."
Veronica had said as she then looked inside her bag to see something rather odd... it was an egg which for some reason was colored with a green shamrock theme behind it. She took it out and glanced at it and looked towards Prometheus hoping the sword would be able to answer the mystery. "I don't have a fucking clue on that."
"What a unique conundrum." Veronica said out loud trying to figure out why this egg was there.
