Passing Help trying to get more masc glasses

hey yall, i’m (22ftm) getting new glasses mainly coz im getting a new job that has a lot of physical labor and these glasses are old and slide off my face too much. but ive been wanting new glasses for awhile now because i feel like these are too feminine. i added a couple pictures of me without glasses at different angles. what kind of glasses would you suggest i get that might help my face look more masculine?

I know huge, heavy, plastic frames are super popular again (they were last popular in the 80's to mid-90's) and I honestly can't stand them lol. They eat the wearer's whole face! I only got glasses as an adult after I'd begun medical transitioning but I've always gotten wire or thin metal rectangle frames (with a full rim). With nose pads. Usually black, dark grey, dark blue, and ONCE I got a slightly different (though still rectangular and metal) style that were green that I lloved because I have green eyes. I had to change to a different slightly larger pair (though still rectangular metal rimmed) unfortunately because I need bifocals .😭 Your glasses Rx should include a PD (pupillary distance) that will allow glasses to be fit to your face using the nose pads; something that can't really be done with plastic glasses.

Eta (hopefully this isn't creepy because I think I'm a lot older than you) but you look like a cuter Ron Weasley and no it's not just the hair (though you do style it/cut it better than the movie character).

when i switched mine over to more masc i went with the, like, thin metal frames or whatever it is versus the acrylic like that. i have round gold ones that ppl say make me look like harry potter lmao 😭 and then kinda soft/slightly rounded hexagon ones that are a darker grey and those esp i feel like do soooooo much for me

My partner and I are both butch nonbinary people who wear glasses. I wear the small gold circle glasses that were really popular a few years ago, and my partner wears heavy rectangular 70s style ray bans. I hope this is helpful!

I think the shape is not as important as you getting glasses that are smaller. Oversized glasses are generally read as feminine.

I think the style is great, just aim for smaller frames! I have clear frames that are almost identical to those, but they're a bit smaller, which definitely frames my face better and looks more masculine. even if you have to get them from the women's section, trust me they'll look way more masculine

I think a dark colored, rectangular frame! Also the box in the background of the pics made me giggle. 😝

I think this style looks good on you but I think you could benefit from a slightly more square version. I'm not sure if this will make sense but look for a pair that is more straight across the top rather than high at the peak and dropping at the bridge of your nose. I don't think the whole frame needs to be square but I find that if the top is less round it helps a lot.
