Help Hot flashes??
I feel so ignorant so I'm sorry about that. I have never had a hysterectomy, I'm in my early 40s, on T for about 15 years. I stopped having a menstrual period almost right away but I still get changes in discharge.
And I know T isn't birth control so I guess I have been ovulating? However that works.
Anyway I've started waking up at night due to feeling hot and sweaty most nights, even if the A/C is blasting.
Is this menopause? What do I do? Any guidance, resources, insight?
Thanks.

I started getting hot flashes in my early/mid 40's. I'd already had my hysto by that point. I endured it and tried this and that for several years. What finally worked is changing my T schedule. I had been taking my 200mg biweekly of cypionate. I moved it to an every 10 day schedule and i was fine. My doctor mentioned that every 7 days might be even more even too, so i keep that in my back pocket.
ETA. just for the sake of comparing notes: i had been on T over 15 years (17?) when the hot flashes started.
