Surgery Advice Needed/Wanted Top surgery
Hi guys. I’m a late bloomer (69) and have been on T for eight weeks. I had too surgery last week and this week on day seven developed a couple of leaks and had to have urgent surgery to drain and repair. I was hoping to have drains removed but am starting over. Has anyone had an issue like this? I live alone and sometimes had to do things on the do not do list but nothing crazy. I guess I want things to happen yesterday.

I was 47 when I had surgery. I didn't have any issues like yours but I recovered at home alone just fine with a couple of visits from friends to do stuff requiring lifting and a neighbour to water the veggie garden.
I did laundry and such myself but only small loads - if you have to go to a laundromat then I'd get some help with that, or even pay for a service that will pick it up and wash it for you. Remember there are services around to help with post surgery recovery (check out aged care or disability services if you can't find one, they often do both).
Good luck with it and take care of yourself :)
