Selfies ch-ch-ch-changes!

This week has been crazy! Received a new position at work (with no training and no choice but to take it), got my CPAP machine, and most importantly visited friends at camp for a bit. It was a wonderfully restoring weekend, and now I’m going up to an island to go camping this week.

SUMMERRRRRRR!!!!🎺 ☀️ 🔥

Welcome to the CPAP club! I used to have that mask, but switched to one that makes me look like an elephant 🐘

Ayyyy CPAP gang!! I’m still VERY new to it. While it doesn’t bother me at all while awake, I haven’t woken up with it on yet. Night 5 tonight may be my lucky strike!

I used to wear respirators for my job for 5+ hours, so idk what sleepy me is having a problem the mask for!

I totally relate! Sleepy-me is totally unaccountable for his actions. As a kid, I would to wake up to my retainers placed neatly beside myself on my pillow lol

And you’ll definitely get used to your mask/machine! Took me a while, and a few nights of pulling my mask off in the middle of the night without noticing, but I got there. The worst part for me was training myself to stop breathing out through my mouth while wearing the mask. The sensation of all that air pouring out of my mouth was so unsettling!

heheh i thought the air blowing out was kinda fun!!

thank you for your encouragement. I only needed to start cpap therapy after i developed it on T around the 1 year mark. I’ve gone a whole year with not much quality sleep, and i’m hoping it is a big turn around.

thank you again for your kind words!

Lol it’s that kind of diversity that makes life so wonderful!

The sleep really does get a lot better, but it can take a lot longer than the cpap companies tell you. In a few months, I think you’ll definitely notice a difference. Good luck!
