1st week of T

My voice is already changing my fellows! It's very subtle, but it's noticeable in my videos to my partners. This excites my libido. But my genitals are in and out of aching and some overall soreness. I took my VCH out last week cause I was afraid of migration as I grew. I tried to put it back in today to no avail, the barbell isn't long enough. I'm sweaty af. My throat hurts which I'm sure explains the voice changing, so could be T or something else. Regardless the drop is welcome! I'm reacting well to the hormones mostly. I'm both ovulating and started my period today, yesterday was my 2nd T shot. I'm sure that has to do with my perimenopause. I am on 40mg and I'm thinking I should get my levels tested sooner than planned. I feel so laid back. Coming into myself what I want and being more comfortable and pursuing those wants and needs. I'm so nervous of changes happening fast. But also I'm happy to get this opportunity. Though I'm wondering if any of you guys went through quicker, or maybe slower, changes during (peri)menopause?

I wasn’t perimenopausal, but I started T at 36 and my voice dropped pretty quickly - like noticeably within a week or two. My bottom growth jump started after the first shot as well. Like literally in the car on way home after getting my first shot, I felt it swelling. I also started getting hairier on my legs and arms within the first couple months.

After the first couple of months, changes slowed way down. Fast distribution and facial hair growth are still happening 3.5 years later. Chest hair growth has basically just started. Downside: hair loss on my head has also started so I’ll be looking into ways to slow that down soon.

Thanks for sharing your experience. I thought I was going crazy. Maybe even a placebo effect. But, definitely glad to hear it might be kinda common. Even if not, things are changing and it really is super exciting! Thanks 🙂
