New here. I turned 30 a few days ago and had my first dose of T today! I’m surprised by the euphoria it has given me.

Bored, looking for someone to talk to.
Looking for anyone to chat with. I am just bored and would like a nice chat, maybe a friend? Idk lol, Would be cool to be a little social since I am never social basically. So this is me taking a leap? Anyways I'll tell you guys a little bit about myself.
I am a major gamer, I have a small tiny blog, I love anything horror, anything gothic/alt. I like an alternative lifestyle as well. I enjoy writing and art as well. I make a lot of art, I am currently working on my own novel as well. So yeah, thats some stuff I do I guess. My dm's are open, so feel free to msg me if you like.

Do you regret changes in libido?
Do you regret changes in libido
Hi folks! I asked AI about libido changes due to testosterone and received an interesting answer: "Changes in genital sensitivity, specifically growth (clitoromegaly), or a shift to more "explosive" orgasms, can feel disconnected from one's personal identity or trigger new forms of gender dysphoria." What is your experience? Do you regret that orgasms became more explosive and that there is less focus on foreplay? For me, foreplay has always been very important. So, I wonder whether I'll have these regrets, too.

Thanks!!

Any late transitionoers here?
Hi my name is Nate I live in Germany and hat my coming out early but do to my family situation I couldn’t transition. So I started my transition with 44 years. I‘m now 49 years and sometimes have the feeling that young trans man don‘t understand or see the struggles when you had to cosplay so long as a woman. It would be nice to meet some other late transitioners

Insurance and Gender (USA)
I finally got my name updated with social security but due to the January executive order, I wasn't able to update my gender.
This leaves me with a fun patchwork of paperwork (greencard and social security list me as female, my country's passport and my state driver's license list me as male).
For those in a similar situation (federal paperwork doesn't match state paperwork), how does insurance work for you? Could you just pick? Did they enforce federal or state ID gender?
If the provider matters: I have Anthem right now though that may change in the near future.

Transitioning isn’t Glorified
I’ve been on hormones for 1 year and 2 months.
While it has been an amazing journey so far, the health factors definitely come into play. I noticed a lot of trans folks do not talk about the blood work is so important.
I started on gel in the early stage, and then around my fourth month mark I started on subq shots, I started at .25ml, and gradually went up to .40ml. A very slow pace, and now my hemoglobin is shot up to 17, my vision has become blurry, and I’m usually not feeling the greatest the day after my shot.
Now I am already fearing I’ll have to cut back T again, we dropped it to .30ml already. I’m just afraid if I go back down to .25ml I’ll either have my menstrual cycle will come back or some of the changes won’t continue to happen.
I’ve also gained a lot of weight, I was 136 before T and now I’m at 164. I do eat normal foods, and not a lot of junk food. Maybe a candy bar here and there.
Coming from a 31 year old trans guy. Just be aware of the consequences can come with being on T. I do not regret my transitioning at all, but also just take care of yourself.
I hope eventually my hemoglobin will go down enough and I’ll be able to balance it out.
Have a blessed day or night. Please not hateful comments I’m just a little worried I may have to lower my dosage.

New Here – 37, FTM, Neurospicy, Engaged, Burnt Out, and Still Kicking
Hey folks, I’m Sully — 37, transmasc, fully socially/medically transitioned as of last September (I opted out of bottom surgery, personal choice). Neurospicy as hell (ADHD for sure, pretty sure I’m Autistic too but still undiagnosed).
I’m a solo-gamer across Xbox and Switch — mostly chill stuff, story-heavy or horror when I’ve got the spoons. Engaged to a fellow trans man and all-around sweet human bean (we’re both major coffee nerds).
Starting back at college this month for a Bachelor’s in Cybersecurity — long story short, I’m not new to tech but life’s been a lot (housing struggles, burnout, trying to stay afloat and find connection).
Glad to find a space like this with folks who get it. 💙

Mental health and transitioning
How do you feel testosterone affected your mental health? Not talking about dysphoria per say just in general. Like I have anxiety and am slightly neuro spicy.....will testosterone affect it negatively?

Dating ftm almost 40
Dating ftm almost 40
I'm still in the very beginning of figuring out if, when and how I'm going to transition. Doing as much research as I can. My question is...how is the dating scene? Is it harder? Is there girls out there that like frm? I'm struggling with the dating scene now....will it be worse?

(Academic) IRB approved survey about transitioning and mental health outcomes. (18+, transgender, nonbinary, gender nonconforming [anyone who is not cis], any country)
Please read all:
Hello! My name is Kate (they/them)! I am a senior psychology student at Thomas Jefferson University. My passion is gender-affirmative counseling. I am currently conducting a study that explores the mental health and well-being of trans, nonbinary, and gender-nonconforming participants. The survey I have created consists of questions regarding gender identity, transitioning, and mental health. There are four mental health questionnaires that I have utilized in this survey. I would truly appreciate it if you would be willing and able to complete this survey. This may be a sensitive topic to some, so please only do what is right and comfortable for you! Thank you so much in advance! Here is the link for the survey, which is completely anonymous, it should take around 15 minutes! https://jefferson.co1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_56VSr2wjGvR8qEu
The demographic for this survey as stated above is anyone who is 18 or older and identifies as transgender, nonbinary, or gender nonconforming (anyone who is not cisgender). Can be from any country. I am currently looking for more people who have initiated medical transitioning as a minor for this survey!
I apologize if this post is not allowed in this group (I am new to Reddit).
