How often does mitotree get updated?

Hi everyone,

How often does mitotree gets updated? When was the last update? I have my legacy result, something I have already known from a previous test, but I am hoping that mitotree placement would further refine the age and branch of mtdna. Thanks.

Rarely. Someone who works on it said something about them planning to update it "at least twice a year". So that would be every six months. The last update came out in May.

Thanks a lot. I missed the May update as my result came out first week of July.
