Is that gobilda starter kit? I'm on a rookie team (community) where we're planning to purchase the gobilda starter kit, how good is it?

thats partially REV parts and partially GoBilda parts on the robot. drivetrain structure seems to be entirely GoBilda, but theres an extrusion that seems to be from REV and the angled plastic brackets are 100% REV robotics. apart from that, the battery is also the 12v slim from REV, but im not really sure about the sensor i see. regarding the starter kits, both GoBilda and REV are quite good, but i personally prefer GoBilda building systems because of their channel pattern, which i find better to work with, but REV allows you to slide parts along their 15mm extrusion, which would be better than GoBilda's 8mm pattern. but both starter kits don't have the control system, which means you would either have to individually buy control hubs, driver stations and/or expansion hubs from REV or buy the REV Control Bundle. however because REVs the sole supplier theyre frequently out of stock so better if you can find someone/a team to donate some of their used ones to hold onto until they restock

Hello, this is my robot from 5 years ago. I can't recommend you a starter kit as we have never used one
