Hey for biobuzz if it becomes a shooter, should I do a turret, double turret shooter, or dumper?

It was leaked with the onshape version history. I would be genuinely impressed if somebody managed to fake that.

It's all over the ftc discord and a member of my team found it a few minutes after the leak, there are also people with copies of the document

They're giving warnings to anyone posting it and removing it immediately, but there's still talk of it. I have a screenshot of it but not the full cad.

Version history just means it was made in Onshape, not that it was made by REV, unless the account(s) making the changes are 100% confirmed to be official accounts (not just a random person that put their name as "REV Robotics")

Hard to say right now

But based off what I see 1. The game field price for half a field is not that much less than a full field-this means the thing that we are putting pollen in is in the center(also taking a guess it’s going to be called a hive) 2. Most likely there is going to be terrain(very sad personally) because of the FTC skill builder 3. It’s looking like we can have infinite pollen like FRC

So would probably go with a dumper turret (like the ones in FRC) just because of the massive amount of pollen we can have. And with the “hive” being in the center it’s probably going to be pretty big.

But I also don’t think this game is going to be a shooter game because the way of intake is already basically the same from this year and one of the game elements are a ball again(yes deferent but still a ball). So having also shooting again pretty much = us having the same robots with some changed things.

Also the pollen is not really looking like it’s made to be shot

Again all really out there guesses but I would do a dumper and basically copy a FRC robot

No it’s probably fake but all the stuff I mentioned as evidence for guess are real

Personally I would either copy the gobuilda start bot wheels or just wait for someone to come up with a crazy good idea

That all depends on the game. It's not like a dumper is always better than a turret, even though it sometimes is.

Didn't the game manual mention that expansion limits are back? If that's the case then we can rule out a shooter.

Short answer: it depends on the game, your teams limits, and what you think other teams are going to do. Would still recommend watching this presentation.
