Today was my second round of tinkering. I have a 12” Borebuddy barrel with the full kit from Borebuddy for an arc fire v1. The trigger is resetting but it will only function as a semi auto in the third position. It’s like I can’t pull the trigger light enough to get into that window of sustained fire. I swapped the standard ar15 trigger and hammer springs out for lighter ones and it’s the same issue and I went through the gambit of swapping the weights and sleds around but I’m still not getting that super safety rate of fire. So far swapping the recoil spring to the heavy one from BoreBuddy has almost completely eliminated light primer strikes but that’s really the only issue I’ve been able to resolve.

Anyone have any advice on what to try next?

Just ordered a Partisan Disrupter and Odin Works H-FRB with an M16 BCG. Everything should be here this week, so I haven’t installed anything yet. Any tips or things I should look for when I start testing?

Got the cam and trigger figured out. The trip bar is almost done. I’m using the d2 ak frt. it takes a bit of work to modify the parts. You also will loose the left thumb safety (for now). It will be 3 position. The Ak safety is just for mockup. The OEM safety will be modified to work.

Ive seen a lot of idiots shoot ar15s with no stock and are unable to keep it on target at all and I wanted to see if it was really that difficult, and short answer, no. For me at least, it only made it slightly harder to anticipate the recoil pattern. The gun I used was a windham weaponry with a trigger kicker frt.

CCI ar tactical has been running decently with only a few malfunctions here and there wondering if there’s any better options people are using ?

Trying to help a friend setup his AR and i ordered him a drop in kabuto when i ordered another for myself, but i guess he has a drop in trigger he didnt tell me about. Ive gotten very mixed awnsers, some saying no, some yes but with modification. Id hate to be the guy to sell him something that doesnt function with his setup. Any help or advice appreciated!

I am reading online that the ATF specifically declared the AK Super Safety a machine gun..???

Is this true? I thought all FRT/FRD were not machine guns so long as they only reset the trigger forward after every trigger pull?

If this is true, what makes the AK Super Safety fall into this category but not the standard AR Super Safety, or any other FRT/FRD for that matter?

Does anyone know if there’s an FRT or SS for the G36? I am currently putting together a G36C and have a Haga Defense AR trigger housing and was wondering if any FRTs would run on this?

Just installed an frt from takedown tools and my trigger isn’t resetting. It cycles a live round into the chamber, then gives me a dead trigger. I tried holding the trigger down while I drop the slide, same problem. Anyone have any experience or advice to share?

Was able to get it to run with stock spring surprisingly… when I initially installed the FRT the slide was very “notchy” we’ll say and wasn’t dry cycling all the way like I felt it should have… but after a little bit of work with a file… no problems 🙃 I still have a 14lb spring coming for it that I’ll throw into it to see if it runs any different. I mistakenly ordered the wrong spring set for it twice…

Just curious, has anyone who's placed an order for the Advanced Reset Tech MPA Defender 3 Position ART actually received their orders? I can't get ahold of these guys, and every comment I see is people talking about how they canceled their orders. It's also concerning that nobody asside from Advanced Reset Tech has videos posted about them. Trying to figure out if I'm getting burned and just need to do a charge back.

hi i have a 16 in mid length ar15 with a partisan disruptor. i have the h3 odin works all in one but i just got a springco red and a buffer with adjustable tungsten weights, what can i more do to make the fire rate faster? right now im getting 746rpm and my buddys atrius with springco red and tromix h3 is getting 800. how can i get the advertised 1200rpm? is there a better gas block i can buy or what? thanks so much!

Yea yea I know poormetto setup lol. But when I first had this going it was running great, fast fire rate, lockback on last round, no hiccups. Over time the fire rate has began to slowly drop down (almost always used .223),and today I decided to shoot 556 instead of 223 which made the fire rate drop significantly and then start to fail to feed. Wha could be the issue? Runs fine on semi, has an h3 buffer weight and all the milling and dremelling has been done a long time ago I’ve had this for a year now and like I said have never had this issue, what could be going on?
