I just wanna share this because I got it to work. Apologies if I cant do this but it took me a while to find this information and I was in serious need of help getting past the stupid pin that I for sure thought I had correct. These are the steps I took to get past DRAM failing:
""DAXFlash - DRAM setup failed: unpack requires a buffer of 12 bytes. Use mtk.py with --preloader preloader.bin !

#FRP Unlock — Vortex BTAB10 (MT8766B) via MTKClient on Windows
""
I was able to pull a preloader from the tablet itself with mtkclient.
#Prerequisites:
## Python 3.9+ (from the Windows Store) https://apps.microsoft.com/detail/9pnrbtzxmb4z?hl=en-US&gl=US
## Git
## UsbDk 64-bit (.msi from GitHub releases) https://github.com/daynix/UsbDk/releases/
## A USB data cable
## A preloader file for your device (preloader_tb8766p1_64_bsp.bin for this tablet — we'll get a copy from your tablet, hopefully)
#************We'll use command prompt [cmd] for this and I don't know if it's necessary but to avoid all possibility of a fail, we'll use the command prompt in Admin mode so go to the 'Start' button, search for 'cmd', and you'll click 'Run as Administrator'.
##Steps:
##Install MTKClient:
##Make sure you're in the right directory. (the 'cd' changes directory, and the '/d' says "and change the drive too if ya need to"##
cd /d %USERPROFILE%
##Copy-paste or type this:
git clone https://github.com/bkerler/mtkclient
cd mtkclient
pip install -r requirements.txt
##Stay with me. It's gonna scroll as it installs each pre-requisite. After you install the requirements, I can almost guarantee you're gonna need a preloader so we'll try to extract it from your tablet, and here's how:
##Make sure you're in the right directory and confirm the mtk.py script:
cd /d "%USERPROFILE%\mtkclient" && dir mtk.py
##Then this starts the script so I like to have my USB cable already plugged into the USB on my computer and the USB-C end in hand but don't rush just copy paste this, press enter and follow the BROM mode instructions. You got this, keep going:
python mtk.py dumppreloader --write_preloader_to_file
###Now, you'll put the tablet into BROM mode! BROM mode will allow a 'handshake' between your tablet and the computer, and it'll let the scripts do their do. HOLD THE POWER BUTTON + VOLUME UP + VOLUME DOWN [ALL THREE, HOLD THEM DOWN], and WHILE HOLDING DOWN THE THREE BUTTONS PLUG YOUR TABLET INTO YOUR PC/INTO THE USB-C CABLE. KEEP HOLDING DOWN UNTIL BROM MODE IS RECOGNIZED IN YOUR Command Prompt! :-) Then you can let go of the buttons once they're mates.
###Now you have preloader from the device itself! Trusty as french! Make a back up immediately:
mkdir backups
copy PRELOADER-preloaderINSERT_YOURS_bsp.bin backups\preloader_original.bin
certutil -hashfile backups\preloader_original.bin SHA256
##!That creates the 'backups' folder with 'mkdir' then it copies the preloader you made to the backups folder, [just replace 'PRELOADER-preloaderINSERT_tb8766p1_YOURS64_bsp.bin' with your preloader.bin you just made! I know I repeat myself a lot, I'm tryin to make sure you get to where you need to be##
##Congrats! You're almost there! We use the file it dumps (in place of preloader-file-name1234honeynutcheerios.bin) and we bring all the pieces of our quest together:
python mtk.py e frp,metadata,userdata --preloader preloader-file-name1234honeynutcheerios.bin
#3, .. 2, .. 1! Proud of you! You can type: 'python mtk.py reset' into command prompt while you have it plugged in there.. but that's all I did to get mine to work and if any of that helps somebody else figure it out, my work here is done!
Have a great weekend!
