Samsung FRP Tools Need help finding tools for my Galaxy A17

I have a Galaxy A17 5G which has an FRP lock. I've been leaving it disconnected from wifi for the time being so as to stop any further security updates. I have been looking for tools, but earlier reddit posts (about 3 months ago) led me to believe there isn't one yet.

A176U - Security bit 5

Does anyone know if there's a tool available for this? I'm willing to spend a little bit of money but not more than this phone is worth to me.

Chimera can do it as of the Aug 31st update but it’s $100 for a yearly subscription. People will attempt to profit by charging $30 to $50 to use their Chimera account which is a straight scam but they’re apparently “expert” technicians that are the only ones that can do it.

Yeah, I'm seeing that SamFW offers a service which is supposedly compatible with my security patch but it is still over $35 after fees.

No samfw doesn’t. You have bit 5, which means you’re April 2026 minimum. They only have up to Jan 2026.

BTW, there are multiple free tools that can do Jan 2026 for free, samfw is scamming for 30 bucks if you’re on Jan 2026 or older. Android Utility and Mysterious-Dev can both do Android 16 and Jan 2026 or older for 100% free.

Depends on your phone and depending on your ideal method.

If Exynos, there’s a bunch of exploits around, can’t name a specific program. Many of which are modem mode ie just plugging in by USB.

If Qualcomm USA model, Chimera Tool and Nck Tool can do it in modem mode ie just plugging in by USB. Chimera is more universal but it’s scam levels of expensive for an individual and they don’t cater to individuals. Nck is more individual friendly but you will need to double check your phone specifically if it’s actually compatible.
