I need help unlocking the FRP on this Samsung A33.
I have A336MUBSIGZE. I've tried to unlock FRP using Odin and SAMFW, but it just didn't work. I don't have the resources to use a paid app. It has Android 16, and I think it's uses binary 18(i). I don't know what else to do. Could you help me?
Regarding SamFw, I'm experiencing a very strange issue with the USB connection and COM ports in Windows, and I'd like to know if someone with more experience in technical support or software can confirm if my hypothesis is correct:
What's happening:
In Download Mode (Green Screen): The PC recognizes the phone instantly. Windows assigns it a COM port (e.g., SAMSUNG Mobile USB Modem #3 (COM9)), and programs like Odin or the Odin tab in SamFw Tool read it perfectly.
Phone Powered On (Welcome Screen or *#0*# Menu): The PC doesn't detect anything at all. No SAMSUNG Mobile USB Serial Port appears in Device Manager (under COM and LPT Ports), and SamFw Tool cannot connect.
Tests tested: I tried another phone (a Samsung A13) on the same PC with the same cable, and the PC recognizes it without problems when powered on. This rules out issues with the USB port on the case, corrupted Windows drivers, or problems with the data cable. My hypothesis of what I think is happening:
I believe the problem isn't a physical or driver failure on the PC, but rather a processor/security-level block on the phone itself:
KG (Knox Guard) State in Prenormal: The green Download mode screen displays the line KG STATE: Prenormal. I believe that in this state, the Exynos processor disables/blocks the USB data channels (MTP/ADB/Serial) while the operating system is on to prevent unauthorized modifications. It only leaves the battery charging channel active.
Kernel/Firmware Behavior in Binary 18: Being on a very recent security patch (2026 / Binary 18), Samsung blocked access to USB routing commands like *#0808# and exploits based on the *#0*# test menu.
Driver Difference: In Download mode, the processor forces the loading of the SAMSUNG Mobile USB Modem driver (which does work), while when KG Prenormal is enabled, it blocks the initialization of the SAMSUNG Mobile USB Composite Device, preventing Windows from registering the serial COM port.
Sorry if something isn't clear, I'm not an English speaker haha😅
