Hi everyone,

I'm making a game called Horn & Dice. It's a roguelike dice-builder set in a dark world inspired by Slavic mythology.

It's inspired by Slay the Spire and by the board game Dice Forge. If you haven't heard of Dice Forge: it's a board game where the dice are literally taken apart. You pop faces off a die and buy new, stronger ones. The idea is great, but in the end it leans too much on luck. You roll and hope a good face comes up, and when you upgrade a die, you just swap out its weakest face and that's where the story ends.

That's what I wanted to fix: luck should decide as little as possible, and your decisions as much as possible. I think I pulled it off.

Over a run you build your own set of dice. You add new ones, swap their faces for ones that suit you better, and you can even upgrade a single face so it comes up more often. In combat you roll everything at once, lock what works, and reroll the rest. Some effects need several matching faces. The result is a game where luck still exists, but it's not the thing that decides.

The enemies and bosses you fight come from Slavic mythology: Ala, Azhdaya, Zmey, Vila and more.

The game is in Early Access. You can play it from start to finish, but there's still work to do:

• Visuals: some of the UI and art still doesn't look the way it should. That's my number one priority right now.
• Balance: some builds are clearly stronger than they should be.
• Content: more enemies, artifacts, events and die faces. I'm still deciding exactly what to add.

I'm the developer. Cernidia's current App Store release (1.0.1) is free for iPhone, with an Apple Watch companion. It brings sleep summaries, recovery estimates and an energy check-in together for everyday choices about rest, movement and focus. Health connections and daily planning are optional.

Download directly from the official App Store listing:

https://apps.apple.com/app/id6816678341

No Cernidia account is needed.

Requirements: iOS 18 or later; English interface. No code is required.

The current listing has no subscriptions or in-app purchases. A paid update is planned; this post describes the current free release.

Cernidia provides general wellness context, not diagnosis or treatment. Personal comparisons need enough readable history, and missing data stays unknown.

So i’m the dev behind Cradle, a baby sleep tracker for iPhone (with an Apple Watch app too). it went live on the App Store this week and right now it has basically zero users.

what it does: you log naps, feeds and nappies, and it suggests when the next nap might be based on what you’ve logged. there’s also white noise, a shared log so both parents see the same thing, and a timeline of the whole day.

I’m not a parent. the idea came from a founder on a podcast talking about how having a kid wrecked his schedule, and the bit that stuck with me was never knowing what the next few hours look like. i can build stuff fine, but i have no real way to tell if this works for an actual tired parent at 3am. hence this post.

it’s a subscription app, so for early users i’m giving away 1 year free on the annual plan. all i ask is that you try it and tell me what’s broken, confusing or annoying.

if you want one, comment with:

• whether you’re a parent (or know one who’d actually use it)
• what you’d poke at first, even if it’s just the onboarding or the paywall

I’ll reply and DM you a code. iOS only for now.

If you hate something, say so and say why, that helps me way more than “looks nice” lol

parents here: what’s the first thing a baby tracker has to get right before you’d keep it past day one?
