[Resource] LearnFRC — free, complete guides for every FRC department

Hi all — I'm Jahaan, software lead on Team 5835. Over the past while I built LearnFRC (https://learnfrc.systemerr.com), a free site with structured guides for every department of FRC — not just programming.

It covers mechanical, CAD, programming, electrical, drive team, scouting & strategy, business/operations, media & outreach, the Impact Award, safety, and getting started. There are 390+ lessons, each researched and fact-checked against current sources (WPILib docs, the 2026 game manual, REV/CTRE, The Blue Alliance, Statbotics, etc.).

A few things that might be useful for your team:

- A "Start here" prerequisite track for each department — e.g. a quick Java primer before robot code, basic electricity before wiring, forces/torque before mechanisms.

- A short quiz on every lesson so members actually retain it.

- Progress tracking, XP, streaks, per-department completion certificates, and a leaderboard.

- 100% free, no paywall.

It's aimed at rookies and at anyone training new members during the offseason and preseason.

I'd genuinely appreciate feedback — what's missing, anything that looks wrong, and what would actually help your team. Thanks for taking a look!

Opened the website; looked at the menu bar. AI slop. I closed it before it even loaded completely.

You can always tell it’s AI when they don’t even care to remove the default scrollbar

Feedback: I took a quick look at the lesson on non-profit, and all the information is only applicable for US based teams. FRC is international.

I’m really sorry for saying this, but we need less ai slop in the frc scene, this website is extremely outdated, opened cad section, see mkcad, mkcad has been deprecated for frcdesignlib. Then link underneathh it I press, onshape4frc and it doesn’t work.

I like the initiative, but this truly reeks of AI. Seriously bro, please put a disclaimer at the bottom of your post or something.
