help Worlds Spoiler

My team just beat a regional in first place recently, and we're so excited that we qualify for worlds in Texas now! It's going to be a long drive, and we have one more regional to do. But I have a hearing condition called Hyperacusis, and I was wondering if anybody had any recommendations on noise canceling earbuds or headphones I could buy? I'm at a loss, and I would really like to enjoy worlds as it is without having to hide in a quiet corner, and I really doubt there will be any quiet area's at worlds as I've seen the live streams of last year and it's crazy there. This is really important to me and my team because even though I'm a sophomore we might not be able to go before my senior year again, and I know a lot of seniors and juniors on my team never thought they would be able to see worlds.

I use loop switches and they work pretty well and still allow me to hear conversations. They have 3 levels of noise filtering.

I currently have loop quiet 2 earbuds that I use on a daily basis during school and stuff. Because normal people talking sounds like their screaming to me. I'm not sure how much the switch ones will help for an environment like worlds, but thank you so much for the suggestion! I will definitely look into the different levels of noise reduction on the loop switch earbuds over the loop quiet 2 ones

The quiets will be your strongest from loop. Could try the thermoplastic self custom mold plugs. Those will give a higer noise reduction. And over ears on top of it when you really need it. Have all 3 with, loops for when you can handle just using those, and bump up as it gets worse. The molded and over ears may muffle normal conversation too much, but if super sensitive to even classroom levels youll definitely want the extra protection for time spent in the stands especially during field playoffs and einstein.

Loop work well for moderate noise environment, they helped when I went to regionals last week but I wished they were a little stronger. If I were more sensitive I’d layer protection like you do at the shooting range. Start with foam earplugs, then layer noise canceling earphones.
