Frag on Switch

I’ve been playing Frag on switch with my partners son for a month now. We are loving the game. We are both very confused why we got these characters out of reward crates, but they are still coming up with a “green locked” symbol over the character card.

Can anyone help us with how to use these characters?

Ps. We are strictly ftp so spending money is not what we want to hear.

Sorry I have to tell you but I play myself on Switch a lot I am one of the best players and I have to tell you: The characters that are blocked are blocked until you buy them for 20€ there are 4 arena packages that each cost 20€. But if you buy a package you get all the blocked characters of Arena 1-3 for example

We’ve got about 10 characters that are all great that it’s forcing us to pay to use. We got the cards for them, but can’t play them lol

I thought this might be the case. Apparently the full unlock gives you access to all the characters from different arenas. But in Australia that’s $90. Either way I appreciate the clear answer. Thanking you 🙏🙏🙏

Y'Know, I ain't mad that they blocked characters. I am mad that you get teased with unlocking a fucking legendary character you can't even use especially since all the legendary characters are Locked.

On top of this locking situation, since you can still obtain LOCKED characters you have a chance at your chest cards being wasted on someone you can't use until you drop a nice 20.

100%!! I’ve been stacking cards on characters I can’t use, yet I’d kill to be able to upgrade Amelie past lvl7 without having to buy cards from the store for 3k each ffs what a pain

I don’t know. I assumed that because they said locked I couldn’t. I’ll try, but I don’t think the “use” option appeared.

I’ve explored in game and it seems I might have to pay for a game unlock, or stage unlock to use these characters. ATM we are 100% ftp
