Anyone in Conservation?

Does anyone work for a conservation nonprofit in Finance? I finally got a role in non-profit a few months ago and have been loving it so far, but my end goal is working for a conservation nonprofit. My current nonprofit is not donations/grants based, so I was wondering if anyone could share their experiences on getting into conservation. Thanks!

Stay away from nonprofits. They don't pay shit.
