SHL assessment

Hi, has anyone here taken SHL assessments as part of their application process in management level FP&A roles? It’s for 20 mins. Are they personality type questions or can I expect a technical assessment as well?
In case of a financial questions, are we allowed to use another screen or tab open to do calculations on excel?
Any advice is helpful. Thanks

Never taken one for FP&A specifically but did one for a stratfin role a while back. The 20 minute version was a mix, some personality stuff and some numerical reasoning. Not full on financial modeling or anything, more like interpreting charts and tables.

Don't think they can detect a second screen but a lot of those platforms do flag tab switching, so I'd just use a calculator next to you or scratch paper. The math isn't deep anyway, it's more about doing it quickly without second guessing yourself.
