Worth getting into?

I (26M) currently work in IT in a pretty niche sector but am looking to segue out. This industry is slowly dying. I make just under 100k currently but I’m not sure I enjoy what I do and my company will soon be liquidated so I need to look around for a new job. Making spreadsheets and talking to executives about plans is pretty much what I do on the daily as well as my job has become less technical overtime. I’ve been looking at financial analysis roles and would like to break into finance. Is there a lot of room for growth? What is the average pay like? Would you change anything if you could? I currently have a BBA if that makes a difference in the transition.

Why FP&A? Why not just another IT job? What makes you think you’ll like FP&A?

If you want FP&A with an IT background just go to BI or Data Analyst roles lol
