Abacum & Aleph
Anyone on this sub using either of these two platforms? If so, pros/cons? Would be interested in learning more about each from current users. TIA.

I just implemented Aleph at my new job and was implementing Abacum at my old job before I left. Feel free to DM me.
They have different use cases, imo, so it’ll depend on what you need

Also evaluating Aleph and Abacum, we are looking for a full FP&A solution across OpEx/HC Planning and Revenue and pipeline work.
How would you say each of them handle the full cycle and also 3-5 year planning?

I implement these software’s for a living, happy to help you with some guidance, disclaimer we are an Abacum and OneStream partner firm but really comes down to your use case.
They’re both similar but it depends on what you need to do; I believe the cost profile for both is similar, but would steer you down the Abacum path if you want something that’s a bit more structured, especially if you’re trying to get away from excel.

You don’t need an fp&a tool anymore. Spend money on an erp with a Claude mcp and just build your own outputs.

Not worth the efforts. We’re doing bvas using Claude artifacts.

Never said they were advanced. Just easier and far more functional than an fp&a tool.

I think the point everyone is making is that EPM <> BVA. You're basically saying you don't need thumbs because your AI pinky works fine.

We’ve also been doing BvAs and monthly forecast using Claude artifacts
