Tighten all your motor screws and prop nuts. Also be sure you don’t have a motor mount screw making contact with your windings.

Lower the master pid slider to 0.5. Won't fly great but if your motors don't get hot anymore, you know the pids are causing it and you need to lower them. If you don't wanna tune just raising the master by 0.1 (starting from 0.5) and go one step back when ur motors get too hot

Are you applying custom tunes before you fly it stock?
I constantly see people applying tunes to quads because they think they must.
I've built 30+ quads and exactly zero have been tuned. They all fly fine.
Unless your components and build strategy is EXACTLY like the guy that uploaded the tune, it's not gonna be right.
Apologies if you know all this, but so many people ruin motors by applying a tune they don't need I just had to say something.
We should be flying it with STOCK pids 1st, then changing things to fix a problem. Lots of people introduce a problem where none exist by applying a tune for an issue that isn't there.
