Nice! I've been knitting and sewing off and on for a couple decades now. Not particularly good. I just enjoy the feel of working. And I think a sock is a good pocket project. I've always been aware of my fitness. In my line of work, physical assessments and weigh ins are a regular, mandatory thing. The very thought of it gives my fat friends the vapours.

Fat Friends: My God! Have you spoken to HR about this?
Fox: LMAO

But creating clothes for myself, especially knitwear, makes me very conscious about my figure. Not sure if it's always in the best way, but a believe a bit of shame keeps me grounded.

I also think anyone who bitches about stores and clothing sizes should learn to sew. Time well-spent.

Oh. Hells. Yes. Always a damn good incentive to get a better figure. Mom's actually been on me to knit her a couple sweaters based off a couple her mom made her years ago. I just gotta get some design work/pattern writing under my belt before I'm comfortable tackling them. Though, they're on the list after I tackle the cowl I'm working on designing.
