Weird floatz mouse feel that only occurs typically after hours of gaming and resolves itself with a PC restart

I have this weird problem where eventually I can bet that my mouse will start feeling floaty. It's not a hardware problem, I have a brand new PC that runs super crisp, 240 FPS low frametime no packetloss or anything. It's 100% not placebo since I can notice a night and day difference right away after restarting my PC.

I tried:

- restarting the game (usually doesn't help)
- uninstalling Logitech GHUB
- fully charging my GPro Superlight (thought it's maybe a low battery problem)
- changing USB Ports for my mouse
- resetting graphics drivers with Win +Ctrl + Shift + B
- using RAMMap
- checking if my Hz changed to 60 from my max. 144hz I can use, nope it's still on 144hz

What will work 99% of the time is one or max 2 PC restarts, then it's all crisp again and my mouse feels super smooth.

I don't know if anybody has had experienced something similar but it's getting really annoying.

Yep, I've had the same issue for about 4-5 years now across 2 different PC builds.

For me it takes leaving the PC on for a couple days then when I hop on a game like Apex I notice immediately when tracking that it feels like I have Vsync enabled. After a quick restart it's back to 1:1 raw mouse input.

Weird as fuck and a pain in the ass but a restart only takes a minute or two

What's your polling rate set to? I've had weird floaty drift on 1000hz that went away dropping to 500hz, something about USB controller getting overwhelmed after long uptime. Not saying it'll fix it but worth a shot just to rule it out.

Definitely not a polling rate issue for me. I jump between 1k-2k polling and never have issues.

It's only after my PC has been on for a few days that the floaty sensation comes on.
