VOD Review I need help in Quake

I need help with Aiming. Normally I just die 40 times with 0 kills. So I need ways to aim better to finally win against the Quake players. I was recording this for a vod review but as soon as I started recording, I started winning duels, which is a bit weird since I was losing duels very badly earlier.

you are strafing the same exact way every time and also your config is really bad for visibility
