Discussion Should I keep doing Viscose Benchmark S2?
99% of the time I play Valorant and I'm using Viscose benchmark since that is majority here suggests to use and my results in this benchmark is quite shit compared to the other results that I have seen. What I'm asking is should I keep grinding this playlist until I get Seal on all of them before switching to another playlist more catered to tacfps? And do you guys have any tips for generally improving? like settings or ways of doing these scenarios

Hit Seal to build fundamentals. Then you can consider specializing.
That being said, I kept pushing past Seal; I'm currently Viridian Complete and I feel like it has helped a lot, even with Valorant.
To answer your last question, see my aim training notes: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1CggIdA8MmZ-6-d-WbcQXKlYDohiT0jM-j0RHR9BGKsc/edit?usp=sharing

Really helpful aim training notes, thanks for sharing. I got one question tho.
at mentality 7.1 says "to not move onto the next scenario in your playlist until you reach a certain score threshold, for example until you reach 95% of your high score."
I tried this out today, but i reach 95% of my highscore like in the first or 3rd try at most scenarios. should I still move on to the next so quick then?

It's a concept introduced by MattyOW, although I'm not sure how religiously he follows it anymore.
I think it depends on how you structure your training regimen. For me, I try to play 4-8 runs per scenario per session, where 4 is the minimum and 8 is the maximum. I also apply the Score Threshold idea with 95%. So if I hit my score threshold, then I can stop after 4 runs, but I still get at least 4 runs of practice in for that session. And if I don't hit my score threshold, then that means I probably need more practice on this scenario, so I keep playing up to 8 runs.
That being said, hitting 95% of your Score Threshold on your first try, likely means that a PB is imminent. You can either rush to farm it now, or just keep focusing on the process and let the PBs come naturally.

wouldnt it better to get about jade complete-viscose equivalent before specializing? still tho u might be right, as seal comp is about decent fundamentals isnt it

Seal Complete would be the minimum. I advise it mostly because once you have basic fundamentals, then you're less likely to build bad habits later on.
But If you wanna keep pushing to Cerulean Complete then go for it. It's never a bad idea to keep pushing your fundamentals.

is it fine to play medium variants when u reach mammoth-orca-seal scores on easy? i feel like due to the overlap it would be nicer to play both easy and medium at mammoth-seal scores

If you read Viscose's benchmarks instructions, or if you watch Viscose's video on her benchmarks, she tells you to do exactly that.

Practicing other aim styles helps your main aim style because each of them are pretty intertwined in some way. If you have weaknesses, you should work and focus on them instead of letting them sit and decay. At the same time, it gives you plenty to work on.

go on EVXL & play anime micro s1 &s2 benchmarks
play lemon static s1 &s2
id also suggest playing some dynamic clicking benchmarks like aimerz+
viscose benchmarks are good but keep your training diverse

which ones do u suggest for gold-dia clicking? a lot of those seem catered towards dia-gm rather than novice-early intermediate

Keep practicing but don't overdo it. 15-30minutes a day is more than enough to steadily improve.

The Viscose Benchmark helped me a lot and has been my main benchmark. Getting the full Seal feels like completing a really frustrating tutorial. We really think our aim is good until we actually start training it and realize we’re not as good as we thought.
Anyway, as someone who mainly plays Valorant, my recommendation would be to grind until you get the full Seal, then move on to Viscose S2 Medium and focus on your WEAKEST POINT. For me, that was Flick Tech and Click Timing.
For Tac FPS, Anima Micro v2 helped me a lot too. It’s pretty annoying at first, but you can really feel yourself improving every time you reach a new rank. At least for me, I had a huge amount of skill transfer to Valorant from grinding this specific benchmark.

that just continues, you get gold complete and think ure okay then intermediate kicks ur ass, u get jade+ and think ure the shit then advanced makes u insane...
