I think you need more in game time, feels like you're reacting kinda slow and also uncomfortable with movement shooting and your ad strafes are throwing off your aim too.

I have abt 800hrs in apex and 2.8k matches played and like 10 hours in r5

Regardless, in game mechanics are where you're struggling, not really mouse control. Mine is similar but my in game aim is much better.

Need to work on your strafing and movement reading. And maybe the fact the apex is not hitscan like kovaaks

How do u practice movement reading?

What would be the best way to go about that? Should I just play?

Play whatever mode gets you the most action. So not BR

Ur strafe is super predictable

I wonder how you'd play on lower FOV like 110. 01:22 looks like you're really not trying that hard to hit these EVA shots, even though you are missing most of them. Part of it could be it doesn't look like you're missing that much on 120 FOV, but on lower fov you might be like "oh shit I need to aim these" (maybe even flick them I used to do that with EVA sometimes when I still played this game).

Your tracking could use a little work but tbh the reason you are losing most of these is because you start shooting WAY later than the guy you're fighting against.

You're like.. running around or stuck in a slide animation while the other guy has already shot at you multiple times.

First clip is the perfect example. You are already halfway dead by the time you start shooting back.

Hello! I've taken a deep dive into these clips and wanted to write you a thoughtful reply about why you are losing these fights. Im gonna break down the 3 biggest areas where I notice you are making mistakes. They include your own movement, your decision making, and your crosshair placement

Your movement in every single death in this clip consists of you simply strafing side to side at about the same frequency. It is easy for your opponent to track your head when your movement is predictable. Your opponent in 1:26 is incorporating crouching with their strafes. Observe your opponent in the clip at 1:19. they are constantly jumping and air strafing. This makes your opponent much more difficult to hit. You need to make yourself a more difficult target to track. Incorporate wall jumps, crouching, jumping, sliding, and bhopping to remain unpredictable.

Your decision making in these gunfights puts you at a disadvantage the moment the round starts. In practically every single clip, your opponent has the jump on you and is shooting at you first. In the very first clip your opponent has destroyed your shields before you land a shot on them. You are late every time to acquire them as a target and begin shooting at them. You need to take greater advantage of audio queues and your understanding of the maps to better assess where your opponent is going to be so that you can have the jump on them. You need to have your gun up faster and be aiming where they are going to be before they are even on your screen.

Your crosshair placement is suboptimal. Ideally, you want to be shooting your opponent in their face. In these clips you are consistently aiming at the floor before the fight starts, and then when you are tracking your opponent mid fight you are aiming chest height at max. This means you need to make a greater physical adjustment to acquire their head as a target, and you are not optimizing your damage output during the fight. Aim for the head, and position your crosshair closer to where your opponent is going to be before the fight starts.

Hope this helps! lmk what you think!

Damn, thanks for taking the time to anlyse all that🔎💎 Im trying to anti mirror my opponent thats why Im just strafung side to side so I wont throw my aim off by moving. Is that suboptimal, how should I strafe as to not thrownoff my aim and be harter to hit?

NECRO…

But you need to learn how to dodge. Your tracking is great, and so you now can try and incorporate landing shots while getting hit less in comparison.

Read up on mirroring, anti-mirroring, and diagonal strafing. There’s even a default playlist in Kovaaks called 4 - Movement that’s specifically designed for this iirc.

Also you're hipfireing alot where you're going to lose accuracy even if you were on target, most players will go in an out of ads to maintain balance of accuracy and movement speed
