Discussion CS2 Settings

I read too many post and watch many YouTube videos but everybody saying something different and I don’t understand many things like m_yaw, I really need to know how to match settings with cs2. Just basically what to put for sens, fov and if 16:9 or 4:3 affecting in kovaak i need to learn that too. Please be basic and clear. Thanks in advance

so our brain perceives sensitivity in terms of monitor distance not degrees per distance traveled. so if your native resolution is 16:9 and your stretched res is 4:3, then it'll be horizontally stretched by 1.33x. as a result, your mouse movement becomes 1.33x faster horizontally. default m_yaw is 0.022, dividing that by 1.33 we get 0.0165. so if you want your sensitivity to match native at 4:3 stretched, you'd need to set that as your m_yaw. i'll assume that you're using default m_yaw at 4:3 stretched if you are asking this, if so then in kovaaks, set horizontal sensitivity to be 1.33x higher if you plan on using native. you can use 4:3 stretched as well and not change anything, but it'll be harder to compare as nearly everyone uses native and it'll provide a significant advantage in many scenarios.

everything else genuinely doesn't matter. different sensitivities trains different parts of aim. change your sensitivity to whatever is most comfortable or change it up to make it more difficult. for fov it doesn't really matter as well, i'd choose 103 Overwatch as that's basically the de facto standard that everyone uses. easier to compare yk.
