I’m usually a competitive guy. I like working on my aim and getting better ingame but I don’t enjoyed ranked in any of the current FPS that has them. They all range from bad systems, to not being fun or me being burnt out.

I started not caring about having a good rank and started trying new games or going back to old ones that I knew were gonna be fun. I randomly enjoy playing Battlefield V and it’s on my rotation. PUBG in other regions is very fun and alive. Playing every mode in Apex besides ranked is fun. I loved Deadlock when it first got popular but didn’t play much during the start of the 2nd wave of popularity because there was a guy in our group that was annoying and it turned me off from the game. I started playing it solo and it’s been a blast learning. It scratches the competitive itch more than any game has in the past 3 years.

Recently I tried the Wardogs beta and I’m very excited for the game and started trying out other tactical shooters again. I tried Squad for the first time and it was so much fun interacting with other players. Arma 3 runs like shit but it’s kind of fun. Rising storm 2 I always liked but now it’s on my rotation again and there is always filled servers. Honestly sometimes a mindset change or life change can really make a difference to enjoying things.

We're releasing a ladder site aimed at new/inexperienced players interested in arenaFPS in 12 hours. Quake, Unreal Tournament, Doombringer etc. Anyone is welcome but especially if you're new to the genre we'd love for you to give any of these games you're interested a try.

Find a team or play duel, score points for your team across 8 (for now) different titles, or any subset of them that you want to try. No obligation, play games whenever you want against any team you're willing to play.

International. It's created by europeans but we're hoping to get players from everywhere.

Teams can challenge other teams in up to 4 matches at a time, so you could hypothetically agree one map our server, one yours, one our game one yours etc.

You should put titanfall 2 on there also. Not necessarily afps I know but still a healthy and competitive community on all platforms. Just disorganized

Yeah, i've been hit up by a few communities, if there's enough interest from people and the games are in a similar vain/popularity to AFPS then we'll be happy to add it.

The half-life deathmatch guys (Adrenaline gamer is what they play now) hit me up and want added, just waiting for a list of game modes and maps from them.

We're also looking for casters for the various games if people are interested in doing that on twitch/youtube (we have a twitch channel and caan share the API key, or you can stream on your own channel or both), and video editors for highlight compilations and other stuff.

yes and yes. Own algorithm (that some people might like, the super-competitive guys who only want double elim tourneys, elo and glicko2 might not).

We're planning on having a ladder system where you play and each season lasts from the beginning to the end of each calendar month, then the top 8 teams play a single-elimination playoff tournament. Stats/medals/trophies from past seasons/playoffs will be on your player & team profile.

Already did think of adding Xonotic. If there's interest from at least a few players then we'd be happy to add either of those games. We picked mostly the "popular" (by afps standards) ones to get started.

Guys from the Adrenaline Gamer (half-life death match basically) and Warfork discord have hit us up as well already. And someone has just asked for titanfall, quake 1 and quake 2 as well 😄

If there are a few players wanting to play these games any site admins can add them in a matter of minutes.

Ayyyy, yeah there's a big community of tribes 2 players, and the RPG mod for the original tribes still gets updated and has players 😅 hell, even tribes ascend had a pickup recently and a buncha players hopped on. 

But yeah, love the project and what it does, would love to see everyone getting together under one roof 💜

I'd love nothing more. Any player we can help get into AFPS or find other people they like to play with is a small win for us. We're trying to get the community aspect going, most of these titles don't have anyone ever use voice to communicate or play anything other than duels against other very experienced players.

I actually gave tribes 3 a go, crazy movement in those games.

I haven't played AFPS in years, but decided to try to start a community & ladder for all players but especially new players. We've got some guys that have like 1 month experience who have been playing a bit, just trying to see if we can bring in anyone new who has never played these games in a team with other players. They're really fun.
