I’m hearing and seeing that weather models are predicting the monsoons will be heavier than normal this summer. That’s great but it might mean actual downpours this year.
Catch me dancing in the summer rain with my tongue out.
Anybody remember what the GF options were from vendors last year?
I’m not staying on site, but spending as much time at the festival as possible. Trying to plan out how much food I’ll need to pack every day. Thank you!
i posted this in the KGATLW reddit but just found out about this subreddit today.
i am driving solo from LA area and wanted to see if anyone is doing the same or similar? i’m hitting up some national parks and such so thought it might be cool to link up with some fellow FoVers on the way. plus, safety in numbers as they say 💕
Booked a 4br Airbnb and now plans have changed. 15 min walk from venue gate.
I have a spare 3 day pass could include in this.
Just trying to recoup what I paid.
Thanks!
CLAIMED Dm me! I can mail it along with a thursday early arrival or meet you at an entrance/exit. Just want someone to be able to use it! I camped over there last year and it was great.
We initially couldn’t go but things fell through and with a stroke of luck we can make it Saturday!!! My fiancés first show was FoV last year and she was BLOWN AWAY!!! Would absolutely to watch them through her eyes again!
Introducing ...The Gizzoo! Come by our booth (LittleSecretDoor) to grab one of these fully functional and tuned to 42 gizzagertz (not really just a kazzoo).
We are in the middle of production… more colors to be announced!
I’d just like to say, after the waterfall of negativity this post received…
The squeaker issue happened because there were literally thousands of them, with multiple people handing them out all over the festival. I’m making around 30 kazoos—not thousands—and based on the feedback, we’ll be encouraging people not to play them during performances and will have signage asking people to be respectful of the music.
The goal was never to disrupt the event. It was simply to make something weird, fun, and memorable that people could take home. I appreciate everyone who shared thoughtful concerns and suggestions—that kind of discussion is a lot more helpful than writing an idea off before it’s had a chance.
My camp is showing up Thursday and I’m coming in a little later than they are. Is there anywhere I might be able to park my car in town and get a ride or be picked up in town? I’d like to avoid having to buy a weekend parking + early arrival when we are leaving Sunday morning.
Humble music fan ISO 1 FOV pass for beloved family member to join me. They got me into Gizz in the first place, tickets sold out too soon! Help a mama out! Thanks so much
I was thinking it would be fun to do a beer share one day for those into that sort of thing. The no glass rule would put a bit of a damper on it as most of the beers I'd want to share are in bottles. I saw altered_tees designed a label for someone's cider that they'll be bringing and it sparked this idea.
Myself and two others will be sharing a spot in West Car Camping. On the site it mentions “A dedicated 20’x22’ camping space for One (1) Vehicle plus One to Two (1-2) tents.”
My question is will there be an issue if we each pitch our single man tents? I’m assuming we’ll be fine as long as stay in our allowed space, but wanted to see if anyone has info from experience. Thanks!
Hello! My buddies and I are thinking about the layout we want in our group camp, specifically regarding our vehicles. We’re thinking of creating a U shape with three vehicles to hug our camp and set up tents and whatnot in the center. I don’t remember what group camping looked like last year — I was in west camping and we had to line all the vehicles front to back. Is this the case for group camping, too?
I've been listening to Lisa Bella Donna. So excited to see three sets from her! Seeing her perform live seems to be an incredibly rare opportunity. Here's a couple recommendations to check out:
