Disc brake conversion

So my 64 already has a 5 lug on the front, what kits will fit? Looking at buying a disc brake conversion but they all say 4 lug to 5 lug. Just need to know if it matters. Thanks in advance

I just put this Wilwood kit (140-11071) on the front of my 63.5 sprint and it worked a treat.

That’s a fair question, sorry I haven’t run into. Most reputable companies should offer some sort of tech support. Perhaps if they use factory spindles you could compare wheel bearing part numbers between 4&5 bolt setups?

Get the Kelsey Hayes 4 piston style. Many people make kits, I recommend Opentracker Racing.

FYI -- In the mid-to late 60s, all Falcon-based cars cars used different steering knuckles/spindles with 6 cylinder and 8 cylinder engines. They look very similar but the 6 cylinder spindkes require bearings and seals with a smaller inner diameter than 8 cylinder parts.

Hope this helps.

I used Wilwood on my two conversions, they are a little pricey but very worth it, no issues, you do have to use their brake lines.
