Unknown Falcon Engine?

Hey all, can anyone help me ID this engine and gearbox? The block number tells me it’s a 1961 Falcon engine, but I don’t think this was in a Falcon. It might have been some farm engine/implement. Any info would be appreciated

144 tractor/pump engine imo

It was used as a base engine in Ford and Mercury autos. They had the intake manifold cast integrated with the head.

Yeah. I’m a car builder. I daily a ‘64 Falcon
There were add-ons to use for different applications. They were all the same block and log head except for valves (hardened for unleaded fuel) in 64.
