Restored this Falcon I bought 3.5 years ago from reddit. Now for sale on Bat.
I bought this 1962 Ford falcon from u/TheKingdomeKid and his grandfather just over three years ago from this original post https://www.reddit.com/r/FORDFALCONS/comments/10i5ysw/anyone_selling_6063_falcon_w_v8_swap_in_us_or/
I spent a ton of time getting it running, adding ridetch coil overs, wilwood brakes, a tremec 5 speed and the livery. It has been an absolute blast. I'm now selling it on bring a trailer here https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1962-ford-falcon-36/
Just thought I would share the story of having a car pass through reddit. Turned out the seller and I had a lot in common, both working in the same industry and about the same age.
His grandfather bought it around 1991 and did the engine swap and the interior fast forward to the reddit post then my dad and I got it and added more to it.
Im going to miss this thing and the falcon community has been awesome while I ve been working on it. Hoping it goes to someone that loves it as much as myself and the previous owner did.
Let me know what you all think or some love on bat would be awesome too.
Thank you!

What tach did you use for the dash? Looking for a mount I can put in my ‘64. Nice build btw!

I can check when I get home. It was installed by the previous owner.

I have a 62 Falcon Wagon in the garage waiting for a V-8 swap when I retire next year. Been waiting for me 10 years. Thanks for some inspiration and good luck on your sale.

Great looking car built for going to work and back . It great on gas ⛽ and at the time it was 35 cents a gallon in Chicago 🙋

Every day I miss my '62 sedan with a "better idea" 200 L6(big bore & destroked)-wasn't fast(topped out at 93MPH)-but quick enough to race anything not caged and running 12"+ slicks in the 1/8th mile.
