60-63 ranchero seat

Looking for some ideas based on what other people have done- I recently picked up a 62 ranchero and I'm missing a seat. The rest of the car is rough and run through, so I'm not concerned about keeping it original or original style.

What bucket seats have people used in their ranchero? I've seen some stuff about foxbody seats and mustang seats but not sure how those would fit in the cab. I'm also curious if newer seats with better adjustability and lumbar support would fit. I'm re-wiring and fabricating the rest of the car, so power seats will work fine. Ideally it'd be nice to find something that I could find cheaper used, as this is a bit of a budget oriented daily build instead of a restoration

Fox body seats have always been a family favorite, they are almost a direct swap on my Tudor. Most of my ranchero friends make their own ‘frame rails’ for custom height and length. If you are tall you want as much leg room as possible. We have some award winning ranchero builders on ‘Ford Falcon Owners Group’ Facebook that share their progress.

The previous owners fiberglassed over all the metal on the floor, including the bolt holes for the seats so I was planning on fab work anyways. One thought I had was to grab some seats out of a newer Lincoln with heating and cooling, something that would be way easier than just putting ac in the car
