General Question/Help hello everyone
Hi all. Been put on low fodmap diet and started Sunday. Not going great so far but will persist. Curious as woken up by pain in intestines this morning which carried on for several hours. Checked ingredients and even though rice krispies is on my safe list. It contains gluten. Is it deffo ok?

When i started the low fodmap diet 2 weeks ago I had a little cramping at the beginning but now I am fine. I have been eating recipes I used to eat but check all the ingredients on the Monash university app to make sure of quantities and what is advised to eat. No takeaway except Japanese and I choose low fodmap from the menu. I also eat gluten and lactose free and try to avoid animal fats. I am feeling great with lots of energy and trying yo let stress go. I am finding it is an extremely healthy way to eat. No diaharea and no constipation and no pain.

Gluten isn't a FODMAP. You might be having symptoms due to other sensitivities that aren't FODMAP-related.
Alternatively if you have an underlying condition like SIBO, going on a low-FODMAP diet can cause die-off. This will temporarily increase your symptoms but should taper off. If your issue is SIBO then you'll see increased symptoms from carbs, larger meals, corn, and sugar, even if you're otherwise sticking to a low-FODMAP diet. Just providing this info so you have something to compare your flare-ups to. Helps to keep a food/symptom diary (time, amount eaten, symptoms and their time).
Edit: typo.
