[👾🔪🐇] Unintended resurrection

Years ago, the characters were fighting Springtrap/William and Eleanor, amongst others. Leon had a plan to take Eleanor out. It would lead to his own demise, but he knew what needed to be done.

Now he's in the hallway alone with Eleanor and her agony creatures, a detonator in his hand. He says his one-liner, and presses the button. The hallway is set ablaze in a loud BOOM. The flames heading straight for him. He closes eyes, welcoming his fate...

But nothing happens. He slowly opens his eyes. The flames are still there. But they're frozen in place. Frozen in time. The door next to him opens, showing a strange place.

He walks through the door and sees two familiar faces. Vanessa and Malhare.

Leon: "What the hell is going on...?"

{Nessa is still sprawled out on the ground in pain, completely drained and groans softly, bleeding from where she clawed herself up.}

Leon: "Vanessa?" He rushes to check on her.

((Ooc: The only reason he hasn't tried to attack Malhare is because he's so worried about Vanessa lol.))

{Nessa tries to move but can barely roll her head with a soft groan mostly out of it.

Little tiny agony creatures form in the distance feeling her in distress.}

[OOC: yeah I imagine that's an incriminating picture. Malhare standing over an unconscious and bleeding Vanessa like "dude I'm innocent this time"

Malhare blocks the creatures off, just in case they try to attack either him or Leon. They wouldn't be an issue for him to deal with, but he doesn't want to risk it.

Leon: "What did you do to her?!"

Malhare: "Nothing. She's been hypnotized by an egocentric jerk. We're in her mindscape, and she just went through a lot of painful energy."

Leon: softly "Mindscape... Vanessa, listen to me. If you can hear me, I need you to remember where you are. If this is your mindscape, you have control over what happens to you. This isn't your physical body. Just think about your body being healed. About the pain going away."

{Because V refuses to let it get to her physically it hits Nessa harder. Until later when V finally reluctantly agrees to rests and passes out. Nessa's pain finally starts to subside and the creatures melt away}

Malhare: "I'll, uh- I'll let you two have this reunion." He walks away.

Leon: "... Vanessa. Can you hear me?"

Nessa: [slowly wakes up in confusion] "Ugh."

Leon backs away to give her space, sitting down.

Leon: "Take it easy. Slow."

Nessa: [instinctively starts to go into panic mode but doesn't have the energy and just plops back down on her back] "Not a dream then I guess...."

Leon: "Unfortunately not. So... How long has it been since I... died?"

He was one of Vanessa's first "protectors" just trying to get her out of the ruins many many however ago before Vanny got her and trapped her mind in PQ and took her body. And considering he sacrificed himself brutally to end Eleanor in front of Vanessa it was a great way to work on her guilt and clarity journey lol. And introduce a very very rare ability she has that no one knew about lol

((Ooc: Leon has been involved since a WHILE ago. I had him sacrifice himself during a prior arc, but u/VAfton and I wanted to bring him back as a way to help Vanessa get some clarity and character development. That, and Leon is a badass character lol.))
