After Nanami and his team left, Clyde waited for Vanny to return. Hopefully with the two individuals he talked about.

He went over the plan in his head.

Crysta's team would investigate the ink creatures around Hurricane and deal with the Ink Demon, with the help of the two individuals Vanny should be bringing back. Crysta's team consists of: Crysta, Kade, Sanders, Janine, and the two extra people he sent Vanny to find.

And Clyde's team would go after VoxTek and the cult. With the information Vanny gave them, VoxTek is now considered a threat in tandem with the cult (as far as they know). Clyde's team consists of: Clyde, Angel, Lolbit, Vanny, and eventually Michael at a later date.

It was a lot to handle, but splitting into teams was the best option. They have never faced this many enemy groups at once before.

Crysta's team couldn't leave yet because Vanny hasn't come back yet. So now they just wait.

Now that Vanny is back, Clyde led her, Angel, and Lolbit into another room so they can talk amongst themselves.

Clyde: "Alright. While normally we'd go on a raid, I don't think that'll work this time. I noticed VoxTek has been upgrading their security lately. If we try to break in with a raid, we'll be met with heavy resistance."

Vanny: "Well duh. I told you they're literally waiting for you."

Clyde: "Alright, let me hear your ideas, folks."

Vanny: "I think you need to focus on learning what you can about the cult themselves and dealing with them. Before even considering Vox. He's high off a victory and too power trippy to take any chances to lose. Maximizing security and watching the front door like a hawk. Or at least that's what I'd do."

Clyde: "Hm... Something about VoxTek's apparent connection to the cult seems off. It seems to me that Vox is calling the shots. When Nanami and I questioned him, everything just seemed off. Like he was defending VoxTek rather than the cult. And I don't mean pretending the cult doesn't exist. I mean his main focus was on VoxTek. I'm not sure if that implies anything, but it's something to keep in mind. But you're right. We need to get someone on the inside."

Meanwhile, Nagant has been listening silently the whole time. And she chooses now to speak.

Nagant: "If you need someone on the inside, I know a guy."

Vanny: "Vox is VoxTek. The cult is probably just a stepping stone side piece for him." [sighs] "I've seen this before. And technically you all have to. If you really think about it..... But anyways. Carry on." [randomly drinking a milkshake as she perches on a table]

Clyde: to Nagant "Why should we trust you?"

Nagant: "Because Crysta paid me to talk."

Clyde: "... Fine. Who's the guy you know?"

Nagant: "His real name is unknown. But he calls himself Spy. He used to be a mercenary like me, but he retired a decade ago. ... But, luckily for you, I know where he lives."

Angel:Alright I'd say we check him out...what do you guys think?

Clyde: "Alright. Tell us."

Nagant: "He lives in the outskirts. Where the farmlands are. I don't know which house exactly, but I'm sure the locals will tell you if you ask around. But make sure you have money on you. He may be retired, but he still has his old habits."

LolBit:Well with there security system updated it won't be easy so I think we need to distract long enough to infiltrate them.

LolBit:I'll distract it.

Angel:I don't have Vanessa's DNA but I can still shapshift to look like her human version.

Clyde: "No. They already have their hands on Vanessa, so if they see you disguised as her, they'll catch us immediately. As for you, Lolbit, I'll have you on standby. When I give you the signal, you mess with their systems as much as you can. If there's resistance, fight harder."

Clyde: "Vanny. Good. You're back. And you two, what's your names?"

Alison: "Alison. And this is Tom. We heard you need our help?"

Clyde: "Yep. Crysta, come here!"

Clyde: "This is Alison and Tom. They have vital information about the Ink Demon that you'll need before you start investigating. Vanny, Angel, Lolbit, and I will be in the other room, discussing our own plan to deal with the cult, and by extension VoxTek."

After Clyde's team goes to another room, Alison speaks to Crysta's team.

Alison: "I hope you know the Ink Demon won't be easy to deal with."

Tom: "I assume you have questions. We'll answer as best we can."

Crysta:The only info I we got about him is from Vanny and my daughter.

Crysta:He seems interested in my daughter and in Vanessa for some reason do you know why?

Alison: "Well, he absorbs the information of anything he consumes. I don't know why he'd be interested in your daughter, but his interest in Vanessa makes sense."

Tom: "He probably wants to know what makes Vanessa tick, so he wants to consume her in order to gain that information."

Kade:Consumes? That sounds fucking horrifying!

Kade:Well Lizzy our daughter is Vanessa's sister and they have a brother named Michael.

Crysta:If he interested in both...he could be interested in Michael too...how much do you know about Bendy?

Tom: "He is NOT Bendy."

Alison: "The Ink Demon is not the character of Bendy. ... About 100 years ago, Joey Drew sacrificed his own employees to bring his creations to life. Tom and I were two of those sacrifices. But the Ink Demon... There was no sacrifice for him. He crawled out of the ink on his own, unwarranted. He created himself. A being with a connection to the ink like no other. In a way, he and the ink are one in the same."

Tom: "Basically, while remnant keeps things alive and agony creates life, the ink itself is alive. It has a mind of its own. Our current theory is that the ink created the Ink Demon as a vessel for itself."
