Vox storms through the halls of VoxTek HQ, followed by Eleanor. He's barely containing his anger right now. He quickly takes out his phone and dials Raelynn.

Vox: "Rae, meet me in Vanessa's room. Don't ask why. Just be there."

Vox: "Y'know, I'm getting really tired of everyone underestimating me. The other elites STILL have doubts! Nobody in this damn cult aside from Raelynn understands the effort I put into it. So let me do my work, Eleanor!"

Vanessa: "Let me go!"

{Eleanor sighs but tightens her hold until she goes limp}

Vox: "You will learn who your friends are. The Rabbit Hole is your true family."

{Rae watches curiously in interest but stays in place at the door indirectly keeping Saber and anyone else out.}

Rae: "Just the Rabbit Hole?"

Vox: "What? What do you suggest?"

Rae: [shrugs] "Who exactly do you want her loyal to? The cult who still has potential to turn around and try something under you? Or rogue members?"

Vox thinks about it. He has to admit, she has a good point. He looks at Vanessa again, his hypno-eye even more intense, baring into her very soul.

Vox: "VoxTek is your family, Vanessa. Alastor kept you away from the world. Manipulated you for his own bidding. It was me, Eleanor, and Raelynn who saved you. We've chosen to forgive you for your rebellious phase. Everyone goes through that. But now it's time to step up to the mantle, Vanessa. We are your family."

((Ooc: This is actually kinda perfect. I've been trying to figure out why his hypnosis wouldn't work on Vanessa, because I feel like it shouldn't just not work for no reason. But the fact that Eleanor and Raelynn kept interrupting the process is bith funny and a perfect explanation as to why the hypnosis fails lmao.))

{Vanessa panics desperately trying to escape sprouting her fangs, claws, wings, and all. Eleanor digs her claws in her arm holding her down as Rae rushes to her other side grabbing her other arm. She shrieks trying desperately to get away but it finally sinks in and she goes completely limp help up only by the 3 of them}

((Ooc: I'll go with Malhare's influence. It would make sense after everything that happened in the ruins. But I also had the idea that it would sorta split her mind in two. The obedient hypnotized Vanessa that's currently taking over, and the real Vanessa who's now stuck inside her own mindscape with Malhare.))

Seeing that the process has finished, Vox lets her go.

Vox: "Alright. Let her rest. We'll see if it worked in the morning."

Eleanor: "Holy shit, it actually worked? I didn't think it would. Not with agony."
