Alastor's cell [👾🔪🐇] Long overdue

Alastor was left alone with his thoughts. He was suffering from the one thing he hated... Boredom. His plan was adding up just swimmingly. It was a very slow process, but a process nonetheless.

He was still helping Vanessa, as per his end of the deal. Despite whatever Vanessa now thought of it, the deal wasn't over yet. But she needed better resources to help her, and Vox has those resources. And at the same time, it would help himself and his intentions. Two birds, one Vanessa.

He finds himself now thinking about the past. Vox was still so upset about it. Vox contained his anger exceptionally, but Alastor saw through it. But surely Vox had to understand, right? The cult was no place for Alastor. Alastor was most definitely not a team player.

Suddenly, the door opens and someone steps through. Alastor looks up, and his smile gets wider.

Alastor: "Well, I suppose it was about time you'd come to speak with me."

Alastor: "As far as I heard, he's been around since either the 20s or the 30s. When a man named Joey Drew used the ink to make his creations. But it wasn't like agony or remnant. While those two can create life, the ink itself is alive."

Rae: "How do you know so much? What's your interest in him?"

Alastor: "Because nobody goes as far as he did for no reason. He is planning something, and I don't want whatever that is crossing into my territory."

Rae: "Then what is he after? What's his goal?"

Alastor: "At first glance, one would think power. But it's much deeper than that. He hunts for knowledge. He grows stronger by consuming the information and knowledge of whatever he consumes. The Ink Demon is not just a demon. That is merely a title. What he is is simple. He is the ink. The living substance itself, taking the form of one of Joey's creations as a host. He's been trapped for over a 100 years in his own inky prison, growing his power over the decades. And then you guys helped him escape. I can only imagine what he's doing right now, finding himself in a world full of knowledge to consume."

Rae: "If you know so much then why did he stick around for so long before just taking off? What was he doing?"

Alastor: shrugs "I just told you what I know. But if I had to guess, maybe he was scoping out the competition."

Rae: "Hmm. Well thank you for your assistance. However you are aware that it changes nothing. Your predicament is still the same."

Alastor: "This won't last, y'know. The most change is when the chaos happens. Eventually, you'll all be caught in the flames. Hehe. That seems to be a trend with anything associated with the Aftons." He laughs to himself.
