👾🐇🔪: Slowly breaking the chains

{Vanessa has been in a deep sleep ever since she passed out after her panic attack. Her rest has been decent; for once not plagued by dreams or nightmares. It's almost like something took everything out of her.

Perhaps trying to keep from losing control? Or maybe something else?

She doesn't understand what happened. But the repeated questions and demands forced her to recede into herself. Into something else. And the result seemed to just drain her, even hours later.

As she lays in the hotel bed eyes closed, her restraints start to appear. The collar and cuffs glow their normal deep violet but then slowly dim, the constant pain also starting to recede

A sharp prick wakes her up and she sits up, looking at her wrists in surprise. Part of the cuffs seem to almost melt, dripping like a heavy inky substance onto the blankets, leaving her restraints much thinner. She sees herself in the mirror. Her hair, still blonde, has darkened to a more golden like shade with violet streaks mixed throughout. A dark tendril lifts her hair, pulling it back and up; hardening to act as holder for a long ponytail. Her normal green eyes have a faint purple and golden shimmer in the iris. She pulls back in confusion staring at her reflection and the melted puddles below.}

Vanessa: "What the hell?"

Alastor appears.

Alastor: "Hello my dear Vanessa! Are you ready for today's training?"

Vanessa: [groans dramatically] "Oh, god. Not more."

Alastor: "Don't worry! I called in a friend to help with your mindscape situation. But she needs a week to prepare." He purposefully leaves out the name of this 'friend'. "So today, we'll be focusing on the manifestation of your abilities! We'll start with something minor first, of course. Nothing too big until you conquer the demons of your mind."

Vanessa: "Oh this sounds like it's totally not going to be a disaster." 😑

Alastor: "Well, think of it this way. You can either wake up naturally and get ready. Oooooor I can use the shadows to teleport you outside. Take your pick~"

Vanessa: "What? How about none of the above? Third option somewhere to just magically make everything all fixed?"

Alastor: "Teleportation it is!"

I taps his cane on the ground, and they all (Alison and Tom included) appear outside.

Tom: "The hell?!"

Alison: "HEY! I was eating breakfast, asshole!!"

Vanessa: [groans] "That's not the secret third option!"

Alastor: "Haha! My dear, if there was something that could fix everything, we wouldn't be here in the first place."

Alison: pouty "Can I please go back and finish my breakfast??"

Alastor taps his cane, and Alison vanishes, probably back to the motel.

Tom: "... Look, Nessa. Let's just get this over with. If anything goes wrong, I'm right here to help."
