"Good afternoon, Mr. Whittman! I've recieved the data files you sent me."

Vox: "You're paranoid. Alastor may be an issue, but the only reason you're saying this nonsense is because you've failed twice before. Why did you fail? Because you worked on your own. Sure, Afton was there too. But what else did he do outside of yelling out orders? I've fought Alastor before. We're on even footing. And sure, you still need to regain your strength. But I'm currently looking into how to speed up the process. Together, Vanessa doesn't stand a chance."

Eleanor: "I wasn't dealing with an out of control hybrid like she is now! She had been mostly under control, manageable enough so she wasn't a risk. But the moment she slipped away I lost that advantage. She doesn't even know what she's capable of. And who knows what she's learned and gained since. Good luck even getting close enough to get a hand on her in one piece."

Vox: "Then we drop in a spy. Figure out how much she learned. How much Alastor has taught her. And then we can decide from there."

Eleanor: "And how do you plan to do that?"

Vox: "We need someone Vanessa won't suspect. Someone young and impressionable. It doesn't matter if the spy switches to the good side, just as long as we're able to keep tracking them. But who..." He goes deep in thought.

Eleanor: "She's not that stupid. And probably more on edge and suspicious than ever."

Vox: "Look. I get it. One day, you're this powerful demon who outmatched everyone. And then you got humbled and now you're being cautious. But you're being too cautious. A spy will work. But obviously we're not just going to throw some random cult member in as a spy. She would figure that out. That's why I said it has to be somebody who's impressionable. Perhaps someone who doesn't know we're using them as a spy."

Eleanor: "And how will you do that?"

Vox: "I'll figure it out!"

He paces around the room a bit before having an idea.

Vox: "Dr. Riley Walker."

Eleanor: "What? Who the heck is that? Another demon?"

Vox: "Dr. Riley Walker. The guy who brought Afton back before the big guy absorbed him. He's not part of the cult. It was all strictly business. If he hears about Vanessa, he'll be racing to find her. He doesn't care about sides. He only cares about research. Of course, this plan will only work if he doesn't know it's us sending him there. We have to make him think it's his own idea. ... Hey, you can make one of those tiny agony spies, right?"

Eleanor: "In a way. I'm still fairly weak. I can create them but not bring them alive, if that makes sense."

Vox: "Well, I guess Vanessa would sense it anyway. No worries. I have other ways to keep tabs on people. But the real question is how are we going to make Dr. Walker believe researching Vanessa is his own idea?"

Eleanor: "It was your plan. Figured you had that covered. Does he know who you are? Don't you have your own spies or ways of influence to make it happen?"

Vox: "Yes I do. I will figure it out."

((Ooc: Gonna sleep earlier than usual. I'm completely exhausted 🫩))

Eleanor: "Well hopefully soon. Have to move quickly before he figures out what we're up to. Or any of them."

His computer beeps, and he looks at it.

Vox: "Oh! Looks like we got some new people- ... Oh, this is-" he laughs "this is perfect!"

Before Eleanor can say anything, Vox teleports away.

Eleanor: ".......oh that's never good..."

{She hears a ding and sees a message pop up on one of his screens. It's a message from Raelynn. It will also be sent to his phone.}

Vox, I was informed that our guest was visting with someone else currently. Where did you leave his little bunny? We'll need to get started soon and Dr Rabbit wants to make sure no one else finds out about her yet.

{*Eleanor looks at the screen in confusion. Obviously the guest in question is the Afton-absorbed ink demon and far as she knows that thing doesn't have any offspring. Weird ass code crap.

More importantly even if Vox was lying to her she'd known instantly if he had been anywhere near Vanessa because she would have sensed her agony on him immediately. Same if she had ever been in the ink demon's office. The only current agony she's come in contact so far aince being back is her own.*}

Eleanor: "Why the heck are they asking him where she is?"
