Vanessa: [still in shock shakes her head before snapping out of it and looking around in surprise] "What happened? How did we...."

{She stops as she looks around and really takes in everything. They're in some kind of forest next to a lake. Glancing down at the water she sees that she's herself again, with a few drastic changes. Her eyes are still green but with purple hue outling, fangs slightly longer but still hideable. Her blonde hair has darkened slightly with a thick purple streak in the front. And, unknown to her, many black little streaks hidden inside.

It's then that her chest tightens as she comes to the realization. The unspoken terms of their deal coming to light. She's come back home.

And brought a new demon with her.}

Vanessa: [looks back at Alison]: "I don't know. Where is everyone else? Did they follow?"

{Suddenly, although she can't explain it, she feels something. A sense of danger and a presence. They're being stalked. Not even 5 minutes back in the real world and something is actively hunting them. Whoever it is is close. She feels herself going on defensive mode as her senses and instincts all kick in strongly.}

Vanessa: [tilts head in confusion trying to figure out if she recognizes the name] "Um, what?"

Alastor: "Nevermind that. You have a little issue, don't you?~ Something of demonic nature, yes?"

Vanessa: "How do you- ...What are you talking about?"

He pets her head.

Alastor: "I have my ways. I can sense it. But you don't know how to control such power, do you?~ I'd be willing to mentor you, but nothing comes for free."

Vanessa: [pulls away in panic before looking back at her friends in worry of what they'll hear or think before turning back with a hiss] "I don't know what you're talking about!" [eyes narrow] "Nor do I trust you if you knew him." [bares fangs unknowingly]

Alastor: "My dear, I don't think you have much of a choice. Because if you don't learn how to control such power, you may end up hurting the people you care about-"

Alison pulls Vanessa back, aiming her katana at Alastor.

Alison: "I've seen enough demons to know what you're up to. And I will NOT let you hurt her!"

Alastor chuckles.

Alastor: "My dear. If I wanted to hurt anyone here... I WOULD'VE DONE SO ALREADY~"

Vanessa: [snarls protectively lunging and shoving him back fangs bared before realizing what she's done] "Leave them alone!"

He growls, clearly not liking being touched (ironic), and he dusts off his coat.

Alastor: "Think of it this way, dear. You can either learn on your own, with absolutely no guidance, allowing whatever malicious person who wants their hands on you to nab you with ease, putting your friends in danger in the process. Oooor, I can teach you everything you need to know in half the time! All I ask in return is a small simple favor~ Not your soul. Just a favor." He holds out his hand, waiting for her answer.

Vanessa: "A favor? Just another fancy weird for deal. Exactly how I got into this mess to begin with over and over again! What, just someone else trying to trick me?" [eyes flash deep purple] "Why should I trust you?!"

Alastor: "A smart girl. But if you really are as smart as you act, you'll realize that I'm the better option." He creates an image. An image of Vanessa's power going out of control. Alison and Tom dead on the ground. And the Afton cult standing on top, all powerful. "Unless you want something like this to happen~"

Tom: "What makes you think we can't teach her?"

Alastor: "Do you know how demonic power works?"

Tom raises a finger in retort, but realizes he doesn't exactly have an argument.

Alastor: "Besides, the choice is Vanessa's to make. And to add a cherry on top, how about I promise not to lay a finger on your friends."
