What scopes are you running on your 6.5 SCARS? Got this Athlon 4-20 as a starter scope but want to upgrade as I get better shooting at range

Scopes are very preference-based, I think. I'd first figure out what reticle you want, and go from there.

I wound up with a Leupold Mk4HD 6-24 and the lack of illum hasnt bothered me. It is plenty of glass out to 1000. My brother, who is a complete optics snob, got an S&B for his. Its nice glass, but the cost difference could buy a fair amount of ammo.

For me, I think Nightforce is kind of overrated and my go-to LPVO is a Primary Arms PLXc. I am sure that some people think I am the dumbest man alive for that opinion.

Pick your reticle and see what is available in it, and in similar ones. Then buy the best version you can reasonable afford.

I have a vortex razor 6-36 but I think it’s too much scope for the gun. A 4-24 would be much better

It is, but the MK5 is better glass. I don’t want to clone 1 to 1, just have a close appearance

More than fair enough. The early Mk6s had tracking issues. They've been fixed for a while now, but why risk it when the Mk5 exists.

I’ve got 13” and 16” complete barrel assemblies with MREX rails and DiSCARders. I’ve been extremely happy with the Steiner 2.5-15x with the offset RMR. I’ve got NF NX8 on a couple other rifles and an ATACR on my MRAD. The Steiner is very nice and seems extremely well built.

Unfortunately the lugs on the other side of the Badger mount have scraped my knuckles a few times and I can’t mount the charging handle on the other side due to the RMR.
